Gave this recipe a try, it's good. Substituted bourbon with more pineapple juice and can confirm it still tastes good that way if you don't have any available.
We tried this tonight but found the apple cider vinegar was a bit strong for our taste. Still good, just not the flavor we were hoping for considering all the other good stuff in here. But we will try it again mext time with the pineapple juice!
JOHN PLEASE MAKE A PLAYSLIST OF THESE VIDEOS! i know it may not make sense but i love your videos but more so your voice and its hard to get you into a single auto playlist like the GARBAGE (JKJK) that is Mythical Kitchen etc etc, just a fan of you and all you did for *redacted* you really are the best cook and musical artist!
@PourChoicesKitchen I have, bunch of times, yep! Always lesser than just a pleasantly smoked and roasted ham imo. Just not a savory+sweet kinda guy. The video was excellent though 👍
Fridge got an Annie style glow up from this video to the next
Enjoyed the details and humor!
I am gonna do this for friendsgiving. I never grew up on glazed ham, but last few years learned to really love it. This looks so simple 😀

Sorry about your fridge. Ham looks great though, homie
This looks so damn good. Holy shit. Def making this shit for Christmas because we're Turkey people at Thanksgiving.

I assume the fridge fix was just "lots and lots of vinegar"?
You says, apple cider vinegar
Good catch. Fixing now
I love ham. I've never understood trying to make it sweet. Why does ham need sugary glaze of any kind? So weird
Sweet glazes and the saltiness of the ham go hand in hand 🤝 try a honey baked ham if you haven’t before
