Thank you. You answered my question for the company later and to leave in crockpot. Thanks for the information. I'm new to this.

I love this video. It was right on time. I wanted to make a ham, but I remembered how much effort it took to make the last one in the oven. This recipe was effortless and just what the doctor ordered for a busy "dad chef" who cooks often for my wife and six kids. The ham turned out great!!! Thanks so much.

If you put the pineapple juice in first, you can pour it on the ham to help the brown sugar stick.

You talking about washing your hands reminded when I worked in a lab I constantly washed my hands. I tried to do a ham in my electric roaster. It is hard to time when to come out. The ham cooks even after you shut it off and take it out. It was a bit dried out. I will try next time in my crock pot. Mine pot is 7 quarts.

I want to try this but we are diabetic. Is there another way but still in crockpot?

Use the dried date fruit sugar.

Keeping away from Sugar and Honey is possible if you Just want to use some Pineapple Juice and Sliced Pineapple with cloves of Pepper Corn to hold the Pineapple Slices on the Ham as you cook it. Now this is not Sugar Free but it is a lot lower in Sugar content then what was discused in this recipe and if you want to lower the sugar more then you could just leave the Ham with nothing on it and use water instead of the Pinnapple juice.

Or you can leave out the sugar all together and just make it savory with other spices. It doesn't have to be sweet.

Maybe just use chicken bouillon and savory spices?

Being a Type 1 Diabetic I used a package of Hormel Sliced Ham and a few Pineapple Slices held in place with a few Cloves of Pepper and some Vegetable Stock in the Crock pot on high to 6 hours along with 2 Lbs of frozen Vegetables and it made a quick easy Ham and I was able to keep away from too much sugar

Can you cut the meat off the bone before putting it in the crockpot?

I can’t finish. The “wings” of her shirt are problematic for me!
It’s lovely, but dragging over ham and sugar is…just NO!

I like to add a cup of black coffee in with the juice.

I agree with beckyrickard63, her sleeve 'wings' were driving me crazy... I kept saying to myself, "Ooops!" But then, I'm just a biologist, not a chef or fashion designer for women's clothing! 😉

All that sauce just runs over the ham and down in the crock. It needs turned sideways and the slices opened up then the sauce poured so it goes in between the slices

this is what I do too, but we all have our way of doing things. Neither way is "wrong".

Most are pre cooked hams you're basically just heating it

Because there is no need to do that. But if you choose to, go for it. It's not necessary but if it makes you feel better to do so, that's fine too.
