Since I was a kid , it was always WFD and of course all our favorite, LA County 51 ...
WFD has set the bar for many standards in fireground operations .
Looking at your videos of these folks still knocking them out after all these years ...reminds me of when I was kid , chasing E5 and L4 , watching them work and giving me the dream of doing it myself .
Worcester Fire ...will always hold a special place in my heart and soul , they are the best of the best ...

I would Like To Start By Thanking you for your service Brother. and Also We are Very Proud of The Worcester Fire dept and All Our First responders. What We do is Out of Love and Respect for Them as well. I have never been a Firefighter But over the Years of Filming them they have took me in as one of Them. Very touching I must say. But The truth is, We all can learn to be more safe and I hope someone can learn from the video's, it all starts with US. one day at a time being as safe as we can. I really enjoy your work and it reminds me of my days on the job that I miss everyday .
I miss Worcester as it really is a good city , yes it's not like it was , but it still is a kool place .
The Worcester Fire Department was a big part of my life as a kid and I'll never forget the handful of guys who helped from the WFD , WPD and WEMS over the years I lived there .
Thanks to your videos it keeps me in the loop far from home and helps me keep an " eye on the guys" from afar.
The new training and tools that have come along in the job and how things are done, change constantly and are seen in your work .
The radio traffic included in your videos is one of the most important to me because I do understand it , and communication is key on this job .
Once a Firefighter, always a Firefighter.
Everytime I come to visit my home city I go to most of the stations to check them out and get my fix 😆 !

It always breaks my heart for the people in these fire videos. I truly admire, respect and thank all firefighters, EMTs and LEOs. I have a few friends who have now retired from their fire jobs. All of them are honorable men. ❤🚒🚑🚓💙

Your vids are on point Dizzy. I tattooed for 30 years in salem nh.I tattooed firefighters from Worcester after the Cold storage fire that took 6 firefighters.It was a Letter W made of steel plating with a number 6 on the front! Ill never forget those guys.Tough men!

@@udizzy1969 I've always admired the Departments of the North Eastern areas of the US. From Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Myself originally from Pennsylvania, the birthplace of the volunteer fire department, have always seen the North East as the bar setters. Don't get me wrong there are some awesome departments nation wide, but call me biased I guess, it's where it all started and continues.

Why did you strike out that last part?
Good video dizzy I noticed the lady who appears early in video being helped across str. My first xpln working for gas comp in the 80s was in Everett in an apartment 2nd flr kitchen at the stove. When I arrived heart beating a mile a min the first firefighters I came across were laughing at me and said you're going to love this. Let me state no 1 was hurt When I got in the house and to the kitchen there was a sauce covering the whole kitchen from like 3ft up ceiling and wall. The occupant never really used a stove and left a large pan full of a sauce to simmer unattended It boiled over an put out the flame the gas built up in the body of the stove till it hit oven pilot and boom. Lucky no one was hurt. We take it for granted that we were raised around all this stuff. One day I'll tell u about chickens in houses and candles

While you are responding have you thought about becoming a ham radio operator? Living as high as you do you would talk all over the US +. Fire: Went up fast, 6 or more families without a home. A fine job for sure, put it out before spreading to another. Good vid Dizz

My husband used to work for the Worcester fire dept. He retired he was also in the ewarehouse fire.that was the worse nite of my light.so I say THAT LORD keep them safe til they go home to there life.

I was just thinking about this fire, I don't recall a fire like this happen in a long time, those ended with out a death of a fireman. Good job by the WPD & WFD, I this fire Worcester had a few towns covering, like Auburn. I hope for no more fires in Worcester, this had to be the worst summer for fires yet.

Did you find out about that fireman that had to be seen by the EMS. Before I shut down the scanner there was a fireman on the Harrison st bridge that needed medical attention. This was one of those fires that you would wish never happen, 30 more homeless. I hope they get housed, great video

"Wistah fiyah depahtment". It was kind of fun to see a few familiar places as he was driving to the fire. Occasionally I will still drive to Worcester to Shrewsbury St to go to the Boulevard Diner.

That was a big one, we don’t have buildings constructed like that here , made me think how I would attack that one , so it’s three levels and a possible basement? Is there a common stairway inside that goes to all three upper floors ? They did a great job getting those ladders up quickly for possible rescues . How do they think it started.
A 4 alarm fire on my little street in little Clinton several months ago. Barely any fire but all smoke. It was electrical and singed the whole house's wiring I guess. I comforted one of the tenants, got her laughing just a bit.
It's so odd to me that firefighters want to be filmed while police don't. Wonder why. 🤔
They all Seem to like me, and Most people don't like a cam in the face. But I do it anyways. lol Cheers Dizzy.
I bet they might have had a "Federal Pacific" (also "FPE") or "Zinsco" electrical panel.
Look 'em up ... thousands of them out there, and tests show the circuit-breakers have a 60%+ chance of FAILING to trip on overload!!! Even if the overload is severe (as in, a direct short circuit.). It's a design flaw, the mechanisms inside can jam up.
Of course, those were units from the 50's to the 80's ... they're no longer in business now! (So you can't sue 'em...!)
