I haven't gotten into it yet, but I heard from "The River Stone" channel that if you call your dispatcher, they have loads sometimes that are not on the load board.
Getting a dedicated semi truck is the way to go. So many guys destroy their pickup trucks pulling multi with them. But Haul & Tows will always be my favorite. It's the best of both worlds. You make more going out, and coming back just getting one car can cover your fuel and maybe a bit more, and you dont lose a whole day trying to load 3 cars like I do with my semi lol. You still have a lot of freedom with a h&t when unloaded and going places more easily. Whatever you decide on, trust me, you'll second guess it every day lol. So dont sweat it too much and just keep on hustling and I'm sure you'll be happy and successful!
@@CrossbuckRVTransport I appreciate that man! I agree that H&T does sound like the way to go! Just so damn expensive 🤣 sometimes I feel like the big campers are a lot for my truck so I imagine multi haul would feel like that all the time. Just trying to avoid leasing a $30k trailer lol
@motozaye idk what Synergy charges to lease a trailer but I'm paying about $10k a year (850/month) for my trailer. It's not ideal but it got me started and after a year or even sooner I plan to buy my own outright. Ultimately, I went with the semi and trailer because if I really had to, I can always find work for my semi. It'll just never be as enjoyable hauling something else 😅
@@motozaye shoot I might have to give them a call. Mine isn't a lease purchase, just a month to month lease. Leasing their trailer before you own it would be great because you'll know it inside and out and should have all the gremlins worked out

Hit and miss is how it is hauling rv I got to hauling one a month I got to the point where you half to be leased to all of the carriers just to survive or have your own authority and book your own loads you can work less make more that way. But your doing good keep it up
Not only the loads needs to pick up but the pay rate definitely needs to go up. This $ 1.43 non CDL loads is bull Crap compared to what these transport companies charge the dealers and what they pay the drivers
You’re doing something wrong if you can’t turn a decent profit at $1.43 a mile ins a 1 ton. Many drivers are paying a $160k truck note and spending on average $350 a day in fuel at a $1.35 a mile. You can pay for all your maintenance and repairs for an entire year for what it cost me to replace the tires on my T680. Ain’t no such thing as easy money. If your not willing to make that sacrifice, you’re not going to reap its reward. Bigger the sacrifice, bigger the reward.
