Indiana was afraid to pick Martin early in the second round because of a look like they were kissing Caitlin Clarks a** by getting her best friend on the team. The best friend who is a better shooter than anybody on Indiana from 3 point range including Caitlin Clark. And you win in modern day basketball with the 3 and you improve a bad team to a good Dream faster by having a 3 point Arsenal of players just like Golden State Warriors back in the day. I hope the owner has the guts to clean house after this season I would have fired the coach weeks ago and brought in Clark's Iowa coach at least you will get the best out of clark that way she's beaten down this coach doesn't like her but teammates don't like her it's just a disaster. I mean CC 3 is that games of 8 points 9 points 11 points twice and 3 points yesterday it's a joke and her legacy is being damaged by this and the cheap shots she keeps taking that her tea mates were just fine with by the way. I do not enjoy WNBA basketball and this personal attack nonstop in many ways on Clark is going to chase me away and probably millions of other fans too. And the WNBA veterans hate the fact that there are new fans to the sport because of Clark and her wonderful natural NBA like game of shooting and passing.
Maybe it would be better for the Fever if Kate and Caitlin were on the team together, but personally, I think it's better for Kate that she has the opportunity to shine on her own team and not be a bit in CC's shadow, as she was in Iowa - though she is super gracious and didn't at all mind what her role was on the Hawkeyes. She's first and foremost a team player. It's just cool to see her doing so well, and here she didn't even necessarily think she'd be drafted!
