The passing got me! They were so snappy and accurate. Some of her passing and 3 point shots are a like sextuple spin jump in ice skating. Not possible till now. She had a game winning shot with one tenth of a second left in the game. Who does that? Absolutely amazing is right.

I am 75, a sports lover and live live in Ireland. Rugby is my first love, but I read an article about Catlin Clark, watched her in action and I am now a huge fan. What a talent she is! The entertainment value in watching her play is hard to match in any sport. The phenomenon she has become in terms of bringing joy to so many sports fans across America and even now across the world, will take some beating.

I only watched women's basketball during the Olympics every four years but beyond that, never. Last year I read about Caitlin Clark and had never seen a woman so confident in her athletic prowess and making such incredible long range shots and running circles around the rest of the players on the court, no matter what team. She is a superstar. I also don't see how someone so young is taking all the media frenzy around her and still performs on and off the court so superbly.

CC has it all. Coach Sides should be fired if for nothing else the loss to the SKY in mid June by one point. How many points did Angel make in that game ? How many did CC make ? Reality check time. CC is the W !

Reese will not be a star in the pros. Her game is all about being physical, a power forward, but she's not very big. She doesn't have the shooting touch to be a small forward or shooting guard. Larger WNBA centers and power forwards will stop her cold. She'll get minutes and might even be a starter, but she won't dominate as nothing in her game is special. Clark has very accurate range, is a team leader and can pass very well.

Since I don't have cable tv and frankly don't watch tv much anyway, I'm - unfortunately - not able to see much of women's sports other than the Olympics or when NCAA games are on broadcast tv. But I certainly have been watching women this year. I'm a 70 year old woman who played some sports as a kid (city recreational softball for girls in summer), but unfortunately Title 9 came along too late for me. My high school had NO girls sports team. I grew up during the dark days of women's sports. Hell of a long range/3pt shot, best seen in the women's game. She still needs her teammates to step up to win the NCAA championship. Paige Beucker from Connecticut looks pretty good also (very good mid-range jumper) , but she's had some knee issues, so how long she'll be able to play at the next level will be a question.
Nevertheless, the opposite team needs to be on her like glue and try and slow her down. Usually the best players will get their point, but the defenses goal will be to make the best player work hard for their points so that maybe they won't be as sharp on defense. They might want to consider running fresh players at her all the time.

Specifically College Women's B-Ball Anyway, The "Lumbering All Tatted Up Legends" of the "W", not so much, for Obvious Reasons. I "Hope" the new crop of Lady Ballers who enter the WNBA, over the next few years, will take that "Failing League" into the realm of A Successful, and Profitable League that will be able to Actually PAY their players according to their "Actual Ability And Worth", rather than "What's The Least We Can Pay Them And still get them to play for us", Nonsense.

Caitlin Clark leads the WNBA is Assists and 3PM - has averaged 16.7 points, 7.6 assists, 5.9 rebounds per game, just attained the coveted Triple Double Double Stat - 19 Points - 13 Assists - 12 Rebounds in a single game defeating NY Liberty - FIRST ROOKIE in the WNBA to ever do that, and is the first WNBA player to have 29 points, 13 assists, 5 rebounds, 5 steals, 5 three-pointers, and 3 Blocks the a game against the Washington Mystics, who nearly single-handedly defeated the Mystics in the 4th quarter
Caitlin Clark's impact on the Indiana Fever crawling out of the WNBA rankings gutter, in spite of Coach Sides ineptitude, incompetence is nothing short of phenomenal !
And the Championship Title, whether College or WNBA, that eludes Caitlin Clark critics like to use against her as not being the greatest women's basketball player ever, is just a matter inevitable time.
Caitlin Clark is a fighter, a winner, unstoppable !

Wether you want to admit she is the GOAT or not, She has done more to advance women’s college basketball than any player in history. So many want to discredit her by saying she hasn’t played in the WNBA yet or but there was a covid year. She has only played 4 seasons. The WNBA is not relevant. Very few care about records or achievements in the layup league. So what she has done in college with 10x the fans and viewers means much more for the advancement of women’s sports than anything going on in the WNBA.

Really admire Caitlin Clark and her remarkable achievements but comparing her scoring record to Pistol Pete is ridiculous. He set his in three years with no 3 point line and she in 4 years with 3 pointers. Plus women’s ball is smaller. It’s a different game.

When people trash women's sports, it's almost always women's basketball and women's soccer because of their overinflated egos and less talent. Most other sports that women play in are generally exciting to watch (especially women's rugby, hockey, and MMA), but we wouldn't replace the men for them because (trigger warning) men are biologically stronger than women, and people want to see the best representation of peak human performance as possible. Gender plays a small part of it, but it's more about what entertains us, and that's why a lot of female athletes don't get paid as much as their male counterparts. Caitlin Clark is the exception and not the rule, because she is very entertaining to watch. When she enters the WNBA, the overall sport won't be boosted, but the team she plays for certainly will.

I watch professional WNBA and their excellent. I think their on The Liberty team but Stuie and Jones are just outstanding. I never watched men or women college basketball. But then i saw a news episode about CC. I then saw her play, and i been a fan ever since. When she scores on those way too distant 3 pointers it just is astounding. The first thing that came to mind when I first saw her play is...she is a Born basketball player.

Consistent 3 point shooting skills are great to see from any individual, but when it's a woman doing it, it's mesmerizing. Shooting deep shots takes courage along with accuracy and everyone responds to an athlete showing the heart of a lion.
