    My African violets bloom year round. Some will take a break for a couple of months but for the most part most of them are blooming most of the time.

      Same here, if I let them. I have to disbud mine periodically, for preventative treatment.

    Why do you remove blooms to treat with systemic? I use bioadvantage rose systemic 3 in 1 granules and it keeps pest away.

      I like keeping my plants bloom-free during treatment, it’s easier for me to see if the treatment is working or if there are any ongoing symptoms present on the leaf surface, like thrips larvae. Check out my thrips videos, where I show them on foliage, with magnification.
