I think I need a folder to start and separate these types of papers to use at the back of collage.
That's what my printer is doing I had a look on Google and couldn't find anything. I have a Epson, I thought it was just mine, thank you for mentioning it I'll have a look tomorrow on Epsons site I hope mine starts printing boarder less it drives me mad.
Haha no plans we still in lock down I think I'll sleep for most of it I'm exhausted at the moment. Overdoing and not sleeping great at night.
Looking forward to next week's challenge.

My Epson has always printed borderless (it is a setting) Apple had a similar issue with HPs a few months ago. Quite a pain!!! I don't have room to store the rolls so I glue my glue pages in old magazines, kids books, and catalogues and build them up from there. But this looks like it is just as easy.

It never gets old , Rachel, so don’t worry about collaging whenever. I sometimes go to a friend’s house to craft and that’s what I take to do every time. Everybody has bluesy days. Hope yours are short lived. The ongoing travel restrictions are weighing me down. It seems as if nothing we do makes any difference. I did take my dad in for his first vaccination . The clinic was for age 80 +. Very poignant looking around and seeing all those silver heads, some with canes, some with walkers, most with someone who loves them. Won’t soon forget that picture. My weekly bright spots are your challenge and Anne’s tags.

Rachel, it's always fun and interesting to watch you work, to craft along with you, or even just sit and sip a coffee while you work. It doesn't bother me at all when you "go quiet". I've been meaning to comment for some time but I watch TH-cam on my TV so I have to pull out my laptop to comment. I've been watching you since May 2020. I'm on a leave of absence from teaching as I go through chemotherapy and some days when I'm feeling down, watching you and other virtual friends is very healing. Thank you! And Lulu is a joy! As a teacher especially I love hearing her when she makes the occasional appearance!

Oh my, no pressure. I frequently see amazing ideas, and it is when I see them again and again, that I remember the technique. Even if you save the download, there is so much new material that it is impossible to keep up with it all. PLEASE do not ever feel that, repetition, in any format is anything but good teaching! Remember, we must all initiate in order to learn to create, and I am clearly in the imitate stage!

Though I've been a subscriber for months now, this is the first time I'm commenting because I usually watch YT on my smart TV. Let's just say you should have included a disclaimer on this video warning of the addictive nature of the project. In the blink of an eye I had 12 pages done...wonder where I'll store it...might have to chop her up! Well, you are the collage queen !! I've been watching but on tv where you don't get novella-sized comments. I'm just an old lady who lives across the world that you don't personally know, but you are very respectful -- I know that because Lulu is extremely polite, and she learned that by observation of her parents and family. In my opinion, which nobody cares about, but to me, that is the greatest lesson and gift you can give to any child. But, I wanted to say, I am so proud of you. You changed my life. We've been over that ad nauseum by now -- ha -- but I love paper crafting so much I literally can't stand it sometimes. The year-long journal is complete -- I printed the last page about 10 minutes ago. The first book is bound, now I have to bind the others and she is done -- thank the Lord. But your work is scattered all throughout, along with pages from artists you made me aware of. I first came upon your channel totally by chance at about day 30 of your first 100-day challenge. You worked so hard to please everyone who complained about the camera angle, the microphone, the camera shaking when you hit it, the sound of the sewing machine, and on and on and on -- but you persevered. You were totally honest about your apprehension in starting your youtube channel. You worked very, very hard and you and Steffi together learned how to make art on the computer. Your nature tags digi remains one of my top 10; they are beautiful and take me away from this city where there was just another fight. New people moved in about a month ago and already the police have been there two or three times, there literally was a drive-by shooting in the alley behind my house, one house away, at 12 o'clock in the afternoon. I was doing dishes in the kitchen, and there were more than 20 gunshots. I almost had a heart attack. Two people have been murdered a few blocks away, and left shot dead in their car in the parking lot of an apt. complex. When we moved her in 2016, I checked the crime log, and there had been zero crime in this neighborhood in the previous 8 years -- which is how far the online records go. My crazy neighbor poisoned my cat and killed her -- she is the only cat to survive the fire which killed the rest and almost me -- he put rat poison under the bush in my yard -- the police said even though he told another neighbor he did it, they couldn't bring a case on hearse. But, when life gets crazy, I turn on youtube and come and watch your videos (and so many others; you're all wonderful in my opinion), and laugh at your funny stories and am inspired by your amazing talent -- I love how you are progressing in your slow stitch -- oh, not that you didn't do wonderful before, but it's like your collaging, the more you do it, the more creative you become. You have an incredibly talented family, and you share their tips and tricks -- my son uses his fabric bowl I made him every day -- he goes out; he won't let me, we have both the UK and SA variants here -- but he empties his pockets into it. I made two for myself, which I'm still shocked worked -- your instructions and directions could not have been more perfect. If I weren't so lazy to cover the cloth clothesline I have, I'd make a bunch; they are wonderful -- and now, just two short years later, you have one of the most popular and inspiring channels out there -- people are doing your challenges, and referring to you all the time -- you're the Martha Stewart of TH-cam -- only you don't yell at your "staff" if they bring you the wrong bottle of wine (according to a past assistant, they were doing a shoot, and she wanted the Merlot, and somebody brought a red wine and she threw a massive hissy fit -- emphasis on the term "former employee." Ha. Anyway, I just wanted to pop by and say hello and give you a "good on ya," -- isn't that what you Aussie's say? Although we don't know each other, we kind of have a one degree of separation -- have you ever heard of the 6th degree of separation between anyone and Kevin Spacey? -- So, I knew my father was in WWII, and I knew he was critically injured, almost to the point of death, and I knew he was in Australia for some period of time because he kept an Aussie coin with a kangaroo on the back (very impressive for a young girl living in a very small, rural college town), and that he was in the brand new branch of the US Navy called the Seabees, which was a construction group. I didn't know exactly where he had been stationed -- none of the fathers in our town who had been to war talked about it -- about once a year, he'd go to his dresser in the bottom drawer and pull out his navy yearbook and talk about the men in his platoon -- never about the actual war -- he was awarded a bronze star for bravery, and a purple heart. At 19, he was a master carpenter, and truly a jack of all trades. On the Tuesday following the attack at Pearl Harbor, he and my 45 year old grandfather, along with a long line of men who gathered before dawn -- our town was so small, the recruiting office was only opened on Tuesdays -- I learned that from documents I read at the Library of Virginia. They didn't take my grandfather, but he was sent to Camp Allen for training in basic military stuff, like how to use a weapon, etc. He was trained as a cook, which was a big deal. The Seabee cooks were a specialized branch of the military. He was not there, but two days before Normandy, a platoon of Seabees began setting up a kitchen and fed over 1000 hot meals to the men who survived the landing. These men not only were cooks, but were soldiers and construction workers. All he ever said about how he was injured, was that when the Japanese planes attacked, he was in a place of safety just by chance, but his two best friends were caught out in the open in the frey, and were literally dying. My father was about 5 ft 7 (which is short) and weighed about 135 pounds, and he disobeyed the orders from whatever officer was there, and ran through the hail of bullets to his friends, who had been yelling at him to go back because they were going to die anyway. He grabbed each of them by the collars of their tee shirts and dragged them to safety even after receiving near fatal injuries. So fast forward to today. Because I'm stuck at home, all I do is watch TV, it seems, and I've been watching videos from the History Channel, and then did some research online. My father was in the battle of Guadalcanal, and he survived. They were shipped out to San Diego where they were operated on and convalesced, healed up, and went right back to the South Pacific for the duration of the war. In early days, Guadalcanal had been a strong hold for the Japanese air force. They parked their aircraft there, along with fuel storage and ammunition "dumps" -- the US Navy (my father was not there yet), bombed the airfield, destroying it and just about everything else on the island, and eventually took the island, and that is when the Seabees came in and rebuilt the airstrip and lots of buildings in record time. So how does that affect you and I. My father talked about Australia his entire life, on the rare occasions he would speak of the war. He said the Aussies were the nicest fellas in the world, and he had always wished he could go back there during peace time. After he returned to the war, when he got some R&R, he and his buddies would go to Australia -- he remarked always about how blue and clear and clean the water was -- In Virginia Beach, the ocean is more sandy and brown. He talked about how grateful the Aussie people were for the assistance of the US (and her allies, of course) in saving and protecting their home. There's another chain of islands which had been taken over by the Japanese military closer to Australia, which apparently was of grave concern. Your parents are probably a generation after those in WWII, but maybe they know stories of that time period. He also talked about the rain in Australia, about how different it was, and how lush the plant growth was. And here we are, all these years later, I know my dad would think you were the best thing next to sliced bread (an old saying from whence I come). I wish the world would remember peace. My father never held a grudge against the Japanese, but not Hitler, but of the German men who were forced to fight. He said that the men in Japan had no choice, they had to go to war, leaving their friends, families and loved ones behind, probably never to see them again. Anyway, sorry this got so long -- I hope your day is going well, can't wait to see what this next week will bring -- big hugs, Patricia

Oh my goodness that is what is wrong with my printer. I spent 3 days trying to get it to work. How did he fix it? I had to change to use it photoshop to get it to print the entire page. Anyone know if there is an update we can get? Our weather is nice in the 70’s but rain is on the way. I mowed the lawn for the first time lol. When the grass starts waving at me it’s time to mow lol🤗🤗🤗

I don't know what he did but he was really annoyed as it was interfering with his programs. Some ladies uninstalled the latest wondows update and it fixed it. You may have to Google how to do it. It's very frustrating!

I had the same issue with my printer. I have a Canon. I was soooooo frustrated, it takes a degree in computers to fix these things that Microsoft messes up. I ended up after researching it uninstalling the most recent update. The same thing happened to me last year with the Epson I had. I hope Microsoft doesn’t keep doing that. I always love watching you collage. My struggle is how to cut them up and what to make with them. What would happen if you collage both sides?

I figured out with my HP printer that if I wanted borderless printing on a JPEG file I could not do it on the Plain Paper setting. I Change the setting to HP Photo Paper, but I have to change it for each file I print. It's a pain in the butt but nice to have journal pages be borderless. It will NOT work on pages where the designer has included their name/logo.

My HP still won't print for me. And when it does its a total black page. So I used my old printer.
It also wouldn't recognize pdf files.

Try uninstalling the most recent update by Microsoft. After I did that I also paused future updates so it wouldn’t happen again.

@@reneeoler5314 it wouldn't let me. I called them. They reinstalled it with a fix but it's not working. And HP won't let me talk to a real person.
My next printer is an Epson or a Canon. I'd like to get one of the new Tank printers. No more cartridges!

Maybe I’m tired or something but I don’t understand why it matter what side you added the next paper to???if it’s a master board and you’re gonna cut it up, why couldn’t you have just kept adding onto the left? 🤔
