I love Beatrix Potter. I think I got all her books. I've always liked children's books in general even as an adult. There is just something so innocent about them. In college I took an english course about Beatrix Potter. She just drew what she saw out in the garden and made little stories about them. I think the original art is rather small to begin with. It seems to be in the books.

Along with journal making- I also work in altered books with mixed media, different than the altered books other journal artists make-- they are more of an art sculpture - leaving no room for writing really, just something to flip through and interact as the viewer of the book. My point is that this acetate trick has made several of the projects I put into my book a lot more simple than the way I was doing it before. I love that you show examples of different ways you are using acetate for pockets. Gives me so many ideas on how to use for other projects as well!! I love it!!

Hello. I'm new to your channel and new to the game so please excuse my rookie questions 😊 but, can you tell me what the gizmo you used to make the center openings is called? And, may I ask what kind of glue you used? Last question 😊, what kind of plastic did you use for the windows? Thank you. 😁
The machine is a die cut machine. The most known brand is Sizzix. I use PVA glue and Giotto glue sticks normally. The plastic was just recycled packaging. Thank you so much!

Maybe stitch around the window tag and then glue it to the base tag. That would catch the window and prevent it from coming unglued and also prevent anything catching on it. Or stitch around just the window itself if you really want to stitch the whole thing together. Might be a bit fiddly but would make the window more secure. Regardless, the ones you made are so cute, just love the bunnies! Great project!
I cannot hear you even with sound turned to the max. I can hear most video folks well. Would you be able to have your mike closer? What you do looks interesting, but at best I inly can make out about every third or fourth sound as a word.
Have you tried with some earphones, that might help? I didn't have any other complaints on this one. Everyone's device is different unfortunately. Thank you so much!

Oh, Rachel -- I can't believe it's day 99 -- and you've done yourself proud on this one -- It auto-populated/recommended I guess in minutes after you posted -- I've only seen the thumb nail -- and it's gorgeous !!! Also, I think we have a not so small miracle -- I think the landlord is going to allow us to live here until the first week of August, and, I think we've found the perfect house out in the country -- the rent is so cheap, and there's a well, so no water bill, thank the good Lord. I'm going to go eat my lunch and watch this on tv!! yeah !!!

There is something in each one that is great. I have a notebook where I’m making notes and sketches for future reference. I miss seeing your sister, Sarah, hopefully her life will slow down and she will make more videos too.
