Before you put the ZF in be sure to change the shift detents pins and change all shifter bushings to delrin and/or even run a DSSR. If the flywheel is lightweight run Redline 75W140NS full bottle then top off with Redline D4 ATF to reduce gear rattle at idle. Good luck!

Speed Academy Is there a reason you went with the K20 over the K24? Would you be able to make more on an NA/Turbo setup with a K24 block with a K20 head?
I'm so stoked on this swap. I think a Kraftwerks centrifugal supercharger would be much better suited for this build instead of a turbo. These new superchargers are making 400-500hp vs the older ones that were barley better then bolt on's.
Camhin1 are you serious??? You don’t see JZ engines swapped into anything that isn’t a drift car nowadays. You see K motors and even F series motors in Mr2s, Lotus, Miatas, e36 bmws. I could go on and on. Old celiacs, starlets......, RX-7s, I've seen sandrails using K motors as well. Have you been on SpeedHunters lately? They just did a write up on a K powered s15.
Definitely don't want to take away from how cool this setup is gonna be, but I still maintain that the VQ swap would have brought out a lot of performance. Good displacement, decent weight, probably as long as or less long than a 4-cyl, and better torque. Regardless, I'm super interested to see the end result
Gonna be a great build! I just picked up my own s14 kouki for a street/track build! I'm going to try my luck with an s15 sr and 6-speed for now 🤞 but If anything goes wrong maybe I'll follow suit...
Not exactly my choice of swap for this particular chassis,but it would still likely prove to make for an interesting challenge for those who like challenges! Swapping one old outdated naturally aspirated 2.4 liter Nissan truck engine (KA24DE) with half decent low end torque for a much more modern and capable 2.4 liter Honda car engine (K24) with far superior VTEC driven top end horsepower.
If this thing doesn't get a K240SX vanity plate at the end I'm gonna lose my sh*t.
