I love love love your videos . !!! You give me so much inspiration . And I’m a beginner so you make it so much easier for me to follow along with easy steps ! Such a great teacher
Omg!!! I was making this cup in my kitchen where I didn’t have natural light ( everything to me looked dark and getting frustrated) when I took it to the natural light it was AWESOME!!! Just a little of black is needed.
I absolutely love this! At first when I saw you mashing all of those colors I was dying inside but it was beautiful! LOL. I have to trust the process. Love your videos!
I attempted this with alcohol inks that I had on hand. It did not turn out at all just became very muddy and wet. Does it only work with specific kinds of alcohol ink? I realize that there is a different quality in certain brands. Do you have to wait a certain amount of time in between coats? How long does the plastic wrap have to remain on before you take it off? I would really like to successfully obtain a camo tumbler but today was a disaster. Sincerely would appreciate your help and advice. Thanks in advance!!! Yours turned out amazing.
Thank you for this very well presented instruction. My kids are in the military and asked for a camp cup for the 101st airborne. I couldn’t make out the orange and green names by Piñata: can you share? Thank you!
I made something similar but think I jumped ahead. After spraying a clear coating on the alcohol ink and after it dried I applied a vinyl design. Will that affect the vinyl? Thank you!
Hi. Would it be okay to add a decal directly on the inks after it is sprayed with a clear coat? Or does it need to have a coat of epoxy then apply the decal?
I recommend a coat of epoxy first because if you place a decal on the inks and you remove transfer tape, the transfer tape may rip up the inks, ruining your design
... someone gave me a black yeti to do a hunting theme. I’m afraid these inks won’t show up- I suppose I could repaint the base color but do you think acrylic paints would work with this technique?
I’ve tried to do this so many times and it doesn’t seem to work out:( I start off with a bunch of color when I take the Saran Wrap off but once I start blotting all the color fades and disappears:/ please help!
I need help!! I did the technique, waited more than the time needed before spraying with sealer, so when I went to spray it, a small area started to bleed. What am I doing wrong?? I’ve never used a sealer before, so I don’t know how close/far away to hold it, do I spray in little bursts or a sweeping motion? You said you did a generous coat, but when it started to bleed, I was scared to spray any heavier or any more. What could I be doing wrong??? I also had a wood grain cup I sprayed and it was worse, the alcohol ink just ran off of the cup and my wood grain was almost gone! 😔
Ms. Kiss Kreations Tim Holtz or the Piñata brand, I have both. And I also made some DIY alcohol inks, I did a cup with those and the exact same thing happened. I also sprayed EXACTLY like that. It’s been a month since I posted this and I asked in a Facebook group, and got some help with it there. Thanks though.
You let the spray paint dry. Then do the design. The alcohol inks will seem very wet at first but, they dry almost instantly. The less inks you use, the quicker it will dry.
You can do this to any stainless steel tumbler. Those of us that make them have our favorites. Some get the ozark trail tumblers at Walmart for a little under $7.00 others prefer HOGG, Yeti or other more expensive brands. No need for her to link to the tumbler she used.
I added the website where I purchased my tumbler in the description below. If you make tumblers, you would know it was a 30 ounce. You can simply search the website I provided for that size and it will pop up for ya. Thank you for your view 😊
Omg I love hunting and fishing. This is absolutely beautiful ...drinking coffee at 4am !
I love love love your videos . !!! You give me so much inspiration . And I’m a beginner so you make it so much easier for me to follow along with easy steps ! Such a great teacher
That’s really nice . I can’t wait to try.
Just getting into all this and I think you are the best one to watch. Learning a lot from ya. Great job.
I agree with you

I absolutely love this! At first when I saw you mashing all of those colors I was dying inside but it was beautiful! LOL. I have to trust the process. Love your videos!
Well I don't even like camo, butttttt WOW. Your method makes camo beautiful! Thank you so much for the video. You are wonderful to learn from!

Thanks for doing this tutorial...I was wondering how to achieve that look!

Tim Holtz brand is the best and your other question should be answered in the video
This was a great tutorial, thank you for sharing.
THANK YOU THIS VIDEO WAS AMAZING AWESOME AND I AM GOING TO TRY THIS YOU ARE SO AWESOME I LOVE WATCHING YOUR VIDEOS YOU EXPLAIN EVERYTHING GREAT 😀😃😄
Thank you so much for the sweet comment! I’m glad I can help you!

It should be posted in the description 😀
Genius!!!
Thank you for the tutorial!
Can you tell me why my inks are drying on saran wrap before I get them on my cup. Any suggestions?
My son had ask me to try to do a camo then I saw your video thanks so much am new to doing this, what colors did you use again??
Awesome! The colors are listed in the description below 😊
How much epoxy should be used on a 20 oz before adding decal or additional alcohol ink?
That’s awesome!
Thank you so much!
Can you apply inks over a vinyl decal and remove decal after the ink is dry or will the ink bleed under the decal?
Could you re-activate the inks by spraying some alcohol and reuse the saran with inks already on it? 🤔
Great idea! I’m sure you can!!
Good idea. Great tumbler. So, one good thick coat of epoxy is good enough to finish ?
Thank you. And Yes :)
What colors would you use for a blue camo tumbler
I have made an alcohol ink tumbler and have sealed it with a clear coat, is there any way I can add more ink it the cup now that it is sealed?
I made something similar but think I jumped ahead. After spraying a clear coating on the alcohol ink and after it dried I applied a vinyl design. Will that affect the vinyl? Thank you!
It will not. I only added the epoxy after the ink because I was afraid to rip up the design with my transfer tape.
Thanks fur the tutorial! Would this work for a pink camo just eliminating the green and orange and using mostly pink and light on the black and brown?
I am not too sure, but, it’s something I ought to try!! If you try it, let me know how it turns out!! Love the idea!
Tfs love the technique
Great video. I have a question how do you keep from getting the alcohol ink inside the tumbler and if it gets in how do you remove it? Thanks
Thank you!!! You can remove it with 100 % acetone. Then after, wash your tumbler very well with dish soap and a clean rag, towel or sponge.
Can someone give some advice I’d like to make my daughter a pink camo cup but don’t know what colors to use or what to paint the tumbler.
How do u make sure the top part where the lid goes doesn’t wear down paint and make it chip???
Hello, do you have to epoxy it or can you leave it with just the spray, kinda giving it a matte look?
If you leave it without epoxying, the spray paint will fade or chip off
@@MissKissKreations ok Thanks. I wasn't sure if that would happen because you spray it with the clear coat.
... someone gave me a black yeti to do a hunting theme. I’m afraid these inks won’t show up- I suppose I could repaint the base color but do you think acrylic paints would work with this technique?
I would spray paint it. Then do the techniques with colors similar to the video
can I use acrylic paint? I dont have alcohol inks
I’ve tried to do this so many times and it doesn’t seem to work out:( I start off with a bunch of color when I take the Saran Wrap off but once I start blotting all the color fades and disappears:/ please help!

I spray from a far. 8 inches. Swift motions. Not close. What brand of inks are you using?

@@hislambcreations I am glad you got some help with it !!
Do you blot with the ink side or the other side
I heard clear coat often causes bubble issues. Can you do this without a clear coat?
Yes. Just wait for the inks to dry for 15-24 hours. Then epoxy
Good job 👏🏻
do i need to epoxy cup aftr spray painting? i tried this but its like the ink isnt drying onto the paint. what am i doing wrong?
You let the spray paint dry. Then do the design. The alcohol inks will seem very wet at first but, they dry almost instantly. The less inks you use, the quicker it will dry.
I should've headed your warning to let it dry, and I'm sorry, lol, although it did a really cool effect
much easier to not fold the wrap and just wrapping it around the cup and smooshing it , only a couple drops of black and only 1 piece of wrap
I think I would have put the tumbler in the wrap then pat it
I tried this and mine never stopped being sticky 😭
Have you ever made a GIRLY camo tumbler? With the pink added in? If so, how did it turn out?
try doing this method over a hot pink base! :)
A direct link to the tumbler would have been nice. But alas.

They epoxy is all you need the sealer is a wasted step in my opinion.
do what works best for you
8:30 patty cake patty cake, ruin my tumbler
My son had ask me to try to do a camo then I saw your video thanks so much am new to doing this, what colors did you use again??
Awesome! The colors are listed in the description below 😊
