Spectacular Clifftop Pitch at Sandy Gulls in Norfolk

- Spectacular cliff top views together with great coastal walks, the lovely Norfolk village of Mundesley with it's quaint pubs, shops, restaurants & chip shops is the perfect place for a relaxing break in your caravan, motorhome or camper.
Situated between Walcott & Cromer this ADULT ONLY site is also in a great location for exploring more parts of this beautiful East Anglian county.
We had just two nights, but the weather was glorious and we wish we had stayed longer.

I’m so pleased you showed this one i enquired a while ago to see if they had disabled facilities now I know they have we will take a look at booking we love Norfolk all my family are from there my sister lives in Walcott my aunt in Stalham my grandmother lived in Happisburgh we stayed at the Linx a few years ago and just come back from Clippesby Hall thank you for another informative video 😊

It can be quite different weather early or late season as you know and unlike Clippesby there is no shop or bar on site. However, this time of year it’s quite magical there. We are currently at Sandy Gulls - We booked after watching your video.
Good site although very hard going to the beach!
Found that the pitches are very un-level but luckily the view out to sea distracts from this.
We visited Mundesley village and had a delicious lunch at ‘The Ship’. As it was very busy outside, we popped inside and ended up in the ‘snug’ and sat on the same seating as yourselves in the video!
We really enjoy your video’s ( they are our Sunday morning go to whilst eating breakfast 😊)
We are from Suffolk but love caravanning in Norfolk & it is great to get your perspective and experience on the sites you visit.

Hi Dave. We was staying the same time as yourselves. We was also watching the guy with the paraglider from our transporter van on our way down to the beach. Felt scared for him as it was his first time. Sandy Gulls is a great site and would highly recommend.

Site looked full of Ford Kuga's. Definitely a place we need to go, love the view and everything else and Adults Only is a bonus too. :)

We were thinking about spreading Eric's ashes around Sandy Gulls as it was his favourite site but Sadie can't bring herself to go there at the moment, maybe one day...

It’s amazing people rave about sandy gulls it just didn’t suit me I was in the middle row the caravan was jacked up so high at front and really low at rear and I thought mundsley didn’t offer to much but hey ho each to there own another great video dave and Helen
Hi Martin, strange that because I didn't really enjoy it there the first time we went which was about 7 years ago. However it was out of season, chucking it down with rain and a muddy grass pitch. This time I (Dave) really enjoyed it. Still a slope (but it is on the edge of a cliff) but it wasn't a big deal, the weather was great, hardstanding pitches now and tbh we just wanted a quiet couple of days close to home, so it worked for us really well. H was recently talking about this spot , we haven’t been yet . It must be great for sunrise/sunset photography. H used to go to Mundesley as girl with her parents and the Ship was going strong then. Delightful watch as always guys , best wishes H and M .
Hi there H&M, we have been to this site several years ago, early season in pouring rain, it had a different feel then! However, we would go back again, it's rare to get sunrise and sunset on the Norfolk coast and with the nights now getting shorter, you would need to go there soon if you are going. Well, another beautiful site on your doorstep, our envy keeps growing, the price with all included is really good.
Only one thing made me cringe is how clean you keep the van, and it must have been covered in deceased bugs. Have you not thought about a tow cover as I don't recall seeing one in your past vlogs. 😢
Can you now please have a few weeks at home so we can stop being envious 😊

Hi Paul & Joanne, We ditched our old tow cover, it was scratching the van but since this video was filmed we have taken deliver of a new specialised tow cover, custom fitted and what looks like very good quality (should be, it cost a fortune! (it will feature in a vlog soon). We only go home to cut the grass and pick up the mail lol. Thanks as always for watching. ATB, Dave & Helen.

@@HelenandDave unfortunately they wont let us stay. We are a family of 5 and they said they are not big enough. Nothing on their website to say this so very disappointed
@@helenbrunn Hi Helen, yes it's an adult only site, perhaps that's what they meant by not big enough.When you click on the touring site link on their website it does say it's adult only. I also mention it on the video and it's in the video description too. However, checkout Laburnum, just up the coast, we actually liked it even more than Sandy Gulls and it has similar Cliff Top views.

I’ve been a few times (not easy from Glasgow) , it’s a pity that they did all the work on the hard standings & still couldn’t get the pitches flat.
