Hi Dave and Helen, ooh poor you getting wedged in, the bus was amazing to get by. Nice camp site, shame all the dogy humans have to be in one part of the site. Loved the steam train, the food looked yummy, thank you for sharing x Julie and Tony x
Hi Julie & Tony, it was a little nerve racking but alls well that ends well! Cracking site, lots to do there too. We enjoyed just two nights before heading into Suffolk. Thanks as always, Helen & Dave 👍
Hi Dave and Helen really enjoy coming along with your on your trips thought I’d mention we have red squirrels here in our Forest on the perimeter of our village of Newborough Anglesey they introduced them here in the nineties and we have no greys on Anglesey now its a joy to see them every day when we walk our dogs there take care and keep up what you do as we love your videos 👍
Hi, thanks very much for your lovely comment. Great to have those reds doing so well in your area, you’re lucky. Glad you like the vids and thanks for supporting the channel. ATB, Helen & Dave 👍
Hi Janice, this whole area is our favourite part of Norfolk! Sheringham is beautiful and we love the Poppy Line, it's just great! Thanks very much for watching. ATB, Helen & Dave
Love your map view! It sort of makes it an adventure lol. Just about to go Saturday n choose our first caravan; your tips, commentary and narrative makes it all seem worthwhile. Thanks for that.
Nice one Dave &. Helen. What a great family friendly oriented site. Guess we’ll have to buy a doggy to stay on the red fully serviced area 😂. Looking forward to your next one, the area looks interesting 👍. Take care guys, Rob & Gail 😀
Hi Rob & Gail, very family focussed but our friends were on Yellow block, also full service. Great for walks, trains, swimming, wildlife etc. however a doggy is a great idea, it would certainly get plenty of walks 😂👍. Thanks as always. Helen & Dave
🇺🇦 Hi ya Dave and Helen. Great vlog thank you. I know what you mean about the 149, been down it many times, Sheringham to Wells. Fine with just the car caravan bit more excitement ay. Been to Kelling Heath once, hit it wrong to many ankle biters. Walks look lovely and thanks for the railway vlog, been on that twice now, going to Holt this year so it will be a 3rd time.😀 Loved the look of the dirty chips, my sort of heathy food.🤣 Thoroughly enjoyable vlog, thanks guys. Pete and Su.
Hi Pete & Sue, thank you so much for your lovely comment. Yep, that road is fine in the car but never again with the caravan. We love the Poppy Line, it's great to see all the old trains and Kelling was great, especially for families!. Take care, Helen & Dave
Hi Alison & Keith, love your style lol We really enjoyed our trip to North Wales! We are so lucky to have all these great places in the UK. Take care, Dave & Helen.
Your a braver man than me using that route. 😂. (It’s bad enough with the Chelsea Tractors (or Teslas) now in town for the summer.) Our local site when the tourists go home and it quietens down a bit. Another great blog guys 👍
We had a nightmare at Stiffkey last year and learned our lesson not to use the coast road. Campsite looks great, Abbey would love the walk through the trees. We have spent many a happy few hours travel on the North Norfolk Railyway. Great video as always
Hi Julie & Andy, sadly sometimes we have to learn the hard way 🥴! Lovely part of Norfolk though and yes, the dog walks are amazing and the dogs are very well catered for at Kelling. NNR is fab 👍 ATB, Helen & Dave 👍
I’ll name that tune in one (I hope) Hotel California. What a great site if a tad expensive. Will have to remember that tip about the coast road when we eventually make it to Norfolk.
In one 👍 We enjoyed Kelling Heath but the journey in was nail biting at times 😂😂. Can’t recommend Norfolk enough, loads of great sites, seaside, Norfolk Broads and Norwich is a fine city. Take care, Helen & Dave 👍
Hi Jamie, thanks very much for watching us. The weather often makes or breaks it! Hope you had a decent stay and made the most of it. Cheers, Helen and Dave 👍
Hi Dave & Lindsay, it was a bit squeaky bum time but all's well that ends well. I know what you mean about setting the squirrels free! Take care, Dave & Helen.
Bry ! Our longest TH-cam friend, it's always great to hear from you. Hope you are well. Ronnie is a lot of fun and good to be around. Take care and best wishes from Helen & Dave
Hi Dave and Helen, we do like to watch you video's. We specially liked to see this kelling Heath video as we live very close and often cycle and walk there. Next week we are off to scratby Hall with our caravan, Your home territory. The weather forecast is not looking good, can you recommend places to visit?
Hi Sean, we have stayed at Scratby Hall, hope you have a great stay. It depends what you like doing. We have visited Thrigby Wildlife Park, Caister Castle, Great Yarmouth Races, Yarmouth Stadium (dogs & stock car) there is also Horsey Mill, Norfolk Broads Potter Heigham, Horning & Wroxham. Take a look at the link below. www.visitgreatyarmouth.co.uk/whats-on Cheers, Dave & Helen 😊👍
Catching up with your adventures, what a brilliant looking site and it's going onto my list for next summer! We had a similar experience on the first leg of our North England tour, the backroads of Northumberland nearly gave me a heart attack. Very narrow with some hair pin bends for good measure. I think you saw Whitby at it's best by the way, it was incredibly busy last week shoulder to shoulder, but very enjoyable nonetheless. York packed to the rafters too. I quite like the policy of this Kelling site of separate dog areas, I love them to bits but at times the club sites especially can feel more like being in the kennel club.
Hi Ashley, we loved our staying Whitby & York, fabulous area, can imagine how busy it is.Dog policy is a fair one we think too. Thanks for watching. ATB, Dave & Helen.
Hi Mark, thanks very much for watching. We do occasionally show the facilities blocks when it’s quiet enough, otherwise I don’t like going into toilets with a video camera. If the they’re poor or exceptionally clean/smart then we would call it out. Thanks once again for watching, we really appreciate it. ATB, Dave & Helen 👍
Thank you for a very informative vlog 😘 I don’t think I’d like to be segregated because I have 2 dogs. Mine are like Bella and never bark (only at the postman!) and to be in amongst constant barkers would ruin my holiday 😢
Thanks for the great video,we were there the week after you..Our Cocker spaniel is called Bracken so of course we had a few cakes and coffees there. They kindly gave Bracken a biscuit too.... The internet was rubbish though but to be expected I guess. We walked for miles watching out for muntjack and squirrels. 😊😊
@@HelenandDave No probs. Just need to find a couple of fast, spacious charging stops for the i4. Going to Cornwall at the weekend, so have had to plan that carefully, as my range drops by half pulling the van. 3 stops, 1 every 90 miles. Not too bad, seeing as we used to have 2 stops with the 335d.
@@Smith_Tech_70 that's interesting, I've often wondered bout electric towing and if it would be stressful/challenging but like everything, I suppose it's in the planning. Enjoy Cornwall.
@@HelenandDave Not gonna lie Dave, it probably will be a bit stressfull, as it will be my first time using the (not-so-great) public charging network. But like all things in life, practice makes perfect. I'll update as to whether it's a success or not. 👍
Fantastic blog did very well on the tight roads, it happened to us a few weeks ago in Cornwall when we met a tractor and trailer how we passed each other I will never know ps never went that way again x
Hi Dave and Helen, another great vlog thank you. My brother and sister-in-law stayed at Kelling earlier this month and loved it. On our list for next year. Cheers Terry
Really enjoyed this video, oh! the stress of those narrow lanes :D. A lovely memory for us as we rode the Black Prince from Holt into Sheringham and back last month when we stayed at Broadmarsh Farm CL at Great Ellingham. We are off to another quiet site next week near Malpas in Cheshire next week, Bradley Hall Rural Escapes, cannot wait to get away again. :) Are you guys going to the Torchlight Festival (run by the C&CC) on the 17th August? There's a good line up of artists there, should be good. Keep up the good work, you're channel is doing just fine :)
Hi Guys, thanks very much as always, that's a lovely comment and really appreciated. We love the steam trains from Sheringham. We haven't been to Broadmarsh, so will have to investigate further and Bradley Hall too. No, we hadn't planned the Torchlight Festival either but you have given us something else to think about now, so will check it out. Once again, thanks very much for supporting us, Dave & Helen.
Hi Christopher, We don't know if we did or didn't but we certainly saw and heard many beautiful birds, rabbits, muntjac and more. Amazing place. Thanks for watching. ATB, Dave & Helen
Don’t recall using the word bargain!! You get what you pay for is what I said. Great facilities, entertainment, swimming pools, restaurants, shop, street food, 2000 acres! We paid more than that to stay on a bland caravan & Motorhome Club site recently.
