- Proper Planning Prevents Particularly Poor Performance!
The journey should have been a breeze but instead of following my gut, I followed the Sat-Nav!!
After a couple of hiccups en-route the rest of the weekend was amazing!
Kelling Heath Holiday Park in Norfolk is an amazing family campsite, great for walks, rest and relaxation, entertainment, fitness, wildlife and night skies.

I know what you mean about the 149, been down it many times, Sheringham to Wells. Fine with just the car caravan bit more excitement ay.

I’ll name that tune in one (I hope) Hotel California. What a great site if a tad expensive. Will have to remember that tip about the coast road when we eventually make it to Norfolk.
In one 👍 We enjoyed Kelling Heath but the journey in was nail biting at times 😂😂. Can’t recommend Norfolk enough, loads of great sites, seaside, Norfolk Broads and Norwich is a fine city. Take care, Helen & Dave 👍
Hi Dave and Helen really enjoy coming along with your on your trips thought I’d mention we have red squirrels here in our Forest on the perimeter of our village of Newborough Anglesey they introduced them here in the nineties and we have no greys on Anglesey now its a joy to see them every day when we walk our dogs there take care and keep up what you do as we love your videos 👍

Catching up with your adventures, what a brilliant looking site and it's going onto my list for next summer! We had a similar experience on the first leg of our North England tour, the backroads of Northumberland nearly gave me a heart attack. Very narrow with some hair pin bends for good measure. I think you saw Whitby at it's best by the way, it was incredibly busy last week shoulder to shoulder, but very enjoyable nonetheless. York packed to the rafters too.
I quite like the policy of this Kelling site of separate dog areas, I love them to bits but at times the club sites especially can feel more like being in the kennel club.

Next week we are off to scratby Hall with our caravan, Your home territory. The weather forecast is not looking good, can you recommend places to visit?

We have visited Thrigby Wildlife Park, Caister Castle, Great Yarmouth Races, Yarmouth Stadium (dogs & stock car) there is also Horsey Mill, Norfolk Broads Potter Heigham, Horning & Wroxham. I go kelling heath every year, better out of school holidays. It’s huge with miles of walking. Great video and tour as all ways👍

Fantastic blog did very well on the tight roads, it happened to us a few weeks ago in Cornwall when we met a tractor and trailer how we passed each other I will never know ps never went that way again x

Thanks for the great video,we were there the week after you..Our Cocker spaniel is called Bracken so of course we had a few cakes and coffees there. They kindly gave Bracken a biscuit too.... The internet was rubbish though but to be expected I guess. We walked for miles watching out for muntjack and squirrels. 😊😊

@@HelenandDave No probs. Just need to find a couple of fast, spacious charging stops for the i4. Going to Cornwall at the weekend, so have had to plan that carefully, as my range drops by half pulling the van. 3 stops, 1 every 90 miles. Not too bad, seeing as we used to have 2 stops with the 335d.
@@Nick_Smith1970 that's interesting, I've often wondered bout electric towing and if it would be stressful/challenging but like everything, I suppose it's in the planning. Enjoy Cornwall.
@@HelenandDave Not gonna lie Dave, it probably will be a bit stressfull, as it will be my first time using the (not-so-great) public charging network. But like all things in life, practice makes perfect.

We had a nightmare at Stiffkey last year and learned our lesson not to use the coast road. Campsite looks great, Abbey would love the walk through the trees. We have spent many a happy few hours travel on the North Norfolk Railyway. Great video as always

Really enjoyed this video, oh! the stress of those narrow lanes :D. A lovely memory for us as we rode the Black Prince from Holt into Sheringham and back last month when we stayed at Broadmarsh Farm CL at Great Ellingham. We are off to another quiet site next week near Malpas in Cheshire next week, Bradley Hall Rural Escapes, cannot wait to get away again. :) Are you guys going to the Torchlight Festival (run by the C&CC) on the 17th August? There's a good line up of artists there, should be good. Keep up the good work, you're channel is doing just fine :)

Don’t recall using the word bargain!! You get what you pay for is what I said. Great facilities, entertainment, swimming pools, restaurants, shop, street food, 2000 acres! We paid more than that to stay on a bland caravan & Motorhome Club site recently.
