    How do you simply disconnect the protruding sprayer? I DO NOT want tge replace, and nozzle is shut off permanently.

      Do not want to replace the sprayer, just keep it from protruding when simply cleaning windshield

    Hello and thank you for the great video.
    Please your help: I need to remove a washer because of terminal is broken, but I don't know if it's necessary to remove bumper or no.
    Do you have any video replacing the washer?
    Thanks!!

      Thx . I'm not sure what part is your broken terminal, but I would remove the bumper to make stuff easier if you can't see the part with the bumper on.

    MB dealership wanted over a hundred bucks to paint a similar tow-hook cover which is about 1 inch part that I broke while opening it. The replacement part comes in black and it was about 30 bucks.

      I also overpaid for this cover at the dealership. It was about 70$ for the unpainted cover. Year later discovered some online aftermarket painted covers sold for way less.

      @@ZakiGarage It's best to have oem cover, aftermarket ones can fit like shit.

    This was interesting to see! Let me know how the paint/clear coat holding up over time I have had bit problem before when use 1k clear coats because is not that resistant against chemicals. But for that kind of part is probably ok 👍

      @ZakiGarage  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Good to know that about the 1k clear, but it was the only automotive clear I found in a spray bottle.

      MB oem spray kit also use 1k but mostly it no problem with this kind of repair. But when your doing bigger project 2k is way better but usually kind of hard to find locally only some sites got it. Think is kind of restricted for normal shops because is bad for the environment and health when using it wrong.

    You don’t have to remove the bumper to replace this cover. I didn’t. You just have to be careful not to break the mount that the cover goes into.

    • @nickeshom3533
      @nickeshom3533 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      how did you manage to do that?

    • @dclanders
      @dclanders ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@nickeshom3533 all I did is manually open the cover using a small plastic pry bar. Once opened I looked at how the spring is configured. I removed the old one with the help of needle nose pliers. Good luck

      Bro someone ripped off my eye tow cover for me c63 w204 2013. The cover mount/spring should be the same like this video right? And also is it possible to do it without remove the bumper. I wanna try it from the outside

      Yes, I did. It’s very simple. Just use a small plastic pet bar to open it. Removal is simple.

      Where do you get a small plastic pet bar? I looked online and got sent to nothing but actual animal/pet products
