      Hi I'm Jay and had open surgery for a hernia repair 2 years ago and been in back braces and hernia belts that has restricted me and discs have moved out of place with horrible sciatica pain down my leg. I just did the whole video and my sciatic pain is relieved and I felt my spine start to go back into place already. Thank you!!!!! I subscribed and hit the bell. 😁
      I have 1 question how many times can I do this a week to not overdue it?

      Kudos for the Video! Sorry for butting in, I am interested in your thoughts. Have you considered - Proutklarton Enjoy Playing Plan (do a google search)? It is a good one off product for relieving back pain in just 16 minutes minus the normal expense. Ive heard some super things about it and my friend at last got astronomical results with it.

    4 sessions of chiropractor visits did not move a needle but 5 sessions of this yoga has done me wonders. My lower back pain has gone down so much that I actually have to pause to notice it. Will be doing this and more yoga sessions from now on. Thank you, Lindsey!

    Wow I was so sceptical at first, thought give it a go. First time even doing yoga. I'm 33 with lower back pain and now I feel amazing. I will be doing this daily.

    4 years ago I got into a car accident and this video was what I followed to deal with my back pain. I didn’t know this would change my life in so many ways besides healing my back pain. In ways beyond that it had changed me. I did these yoga stretches 1-2 times every single day. Morning and sometimes night

    I have been doing this yoga routine for at least 3 years. When I hurt this is what gets me back to feeling good when chiropractic and massage therapy are no longer working. This is most joint pain friendly as well. I have bad wrists and knees and this is the only one I've found that is ACTUALLY easy on them.

      Making use of it finally takes away the nasty feeling of sciatica pain and the pressure it gives on my back.       Be careful guys, make a long pause if your back hurts. Otherwise it will never cure properly. I know its "impossible" I have experienced the same - the total despair when you can´t go to the gym, after few weeks you see your muscles reseding, shrinking and you are crazy about coming back. With the benefit of hindsight I would do only one thing differently about working out - I would ecercise MUCH LESS and have my muscles had enough time to rest and grow. It is much more important than any protein you can get.

    This routine is wonderful! I noticed some negative comments about it being too fast but you can download the video and then play it back at a slower rate of your choosing. This routine has helped me recover from back pain on numerous occasions and I really thank you for that.

    This was amazing. I’ve been suffering from extreme lower back pain, and just completed this video. It doesn’t alleviate all of the pain right away, however, I felt a great release in pressure around my lower back and hip area after just one session. I’m going to start incorporating this into my morning and night time rituals. Thank you so much for this!

      hey! So a while back I was squatting and I think my form was incorrect. My back pain was so bad that I had to get steroid injections. However, the pain came back and my doctor told me to do some stretches but they have not been helping. Is this video worth the try, has your back pain came back?

      My biggest fear was laying flat, arch your back up, elbows down. Herniated L4 disk here, and was terrified a 'pop' would hapen that would lay me out for another month. My experience, every stretch and pose...went really okay. Over time, better. This helped more than anything I've tried to date and I've tried a lot.

      Yup! I love when I can find a new yoga vid and just LISTEN along while doing it instead of having to watch along while craning my neck bc the instructor can't explain things well. This was my first time playing the vid and I was able to listen along! Yay!

    I had extreme lower back pain for about 2 wks. due to lifting a heavy kettlebell improperly. I've been trying a little bit of everything with no success, until I found Lindsay's video on Amazon Prime and then this one. I can honestly say after doing this morning and night for three days straight, I experienced significant relief in my lower back... so much so that I have been able to resume 30 min low-impact workouts. Thank you so much!!

    Lindsey Samper is hands down my go to video for lower back pain. I deal with sciatica and lower back pain, I am 70 and she is so very skillful in the word choices to ensure the stretches work and relieve lower back issues. I wish she had some recent ones. Thank you

    I've done this video for the first time last July and come back to it any time I feel tenderness in my hips and lower back. This video has gotten me pain free, and into a regular yoga routine. Ever since I started working from home a few weeks ago, my flareups increased, and I started doing this every other day. It works absolute wonders for me. Sometimes I do the video at normal speed, sometimes I got to take it slower and gentler with 0.75. Thank you so much for the video and all the comments!

      @@ishanimishra5906 fixed my lower back pain in five days, it wasn't a serious condition though. Now I do back stretches 3-4 times a week as a preventative measure

    Amazing !
    She helped me learn the right exercises for the sciatic nerve, the exercises help me to relieve the pain in the area - L5 L4 S1.
    The exercises slightly reduced the pain in the left knee.
    The exercises allowed me to begin to believe that daily study and perseverance would significantly
    improve the condition of the "boging disc" I am suffering from and reduce knee pain in my left knee and leg.
    She is amazing, professional, patient, original yoga instructor.

    I've had a herniated disc in my lower back (at L5, S1) since I was 20 years old. Sometimes it has gotten so bad that a sneeze will render me completely immobile, or I physically can't get out of bed in the morning. This routine, along with some other core-strengthening exercises, proper lifting practices, and a very firm mattress, has basically cured the pain. I'm finally starting to feel normal again. Thank you!

    It's 11:43 on a Tuesday night. I just did your whole session for the first time. I had terrible si pain to the point where I couldn't sleep! This took all my pain away! Wow! Much better than the pain killers I've been taking! I couldn't be more thankful! Thanks for the great video!

    Oh my god - I’ve had the worst lower back pain and that last pose with the legs turned in?? Holy wow it just felt like every part of my spine was re aligned and magically fixed.

    Ive had chronic lower back and right hip pain for years. I retired after 20 years in the military as a paratrooper and tactical boat leader and I still feel it every day! This really helped out. I could feel each stretch pinpoint the pain. I’ll have to do this video daily and for longer periods of time but it feels like it helps.

    What's great about this lesson is that Ms. Samper takes the "back pain" seriously and demonstrates how to get up and down gently. This is also accurately aimed at moderate beginners/slightly inflexible people, only the boat pose was slightly too challenging.

    Lovely set of exercises to keep pain free once the main problem has been attended to. I point my patients to this video as their homework after treatment. That is those that are limber and slim enough to do these exercises, then it’s up to them and their dedication to their own health to do them every day, or at least every other day. Sadly, most do not continue them once they find themselves pain free and after a few months are back to my Chempaka Pain Relief Clinic for another full service. It’s then that they get the message and become so much more aware of their own body. It’s only a few minutes and what is that to help become pain free every day. These exercises will help nourish, stretch, work and provide a good postural adjustment if you stick with them, or at least the one’s you can manage. A journey of a thousand miles starts with but one step - then another - and another. Remember the new research and thinking is that a “good” stretch should last no longer than two seconds, so as not to cause micro tears and strains. If you want more; repeat the exercise.

    Thank you so much for this. It helped me immensely with my sciatica and lower back pain. I have been following the video about 3-4 times a week for 3 weeks and at first I could barely do any of the exercises. Now, I feel a lot more freedom in my movements and can see a marked improvement in my pain and flexibility. If anyone reading this has back and sciatica problems, find what works for you and stick with it no matter how frustrating some days can be - I did the yoga in this video 3-4 times a week in conjunction with acupuncture once a week.

    I had a very bad lower back pain that then affected my ability to walk, my right leg started to hurt every time I was sitted. I never got to finish my treatment due to the cost of it. And I was only 20 when it started.
    Please, take care of your backs, have balanced diet and never spend too much time sitting on the chair.

    I've been doing this routine for almost 2 years and its helped so much. Herniated disk L4 in 2015. Can't afford insurance, and found this video in Jan 2020. Back then, my biggest struggle was the car. Still is honestly. Before I found this video, I had to drive to take my daughter to school (30 mins), to work (30 mins), and vice-versa after work. When I got home in the evening, I had to lay in bed for an hour to relieve the pain. Often we had to stop 2-3 times on the way home so I could get out of the car and relieve my back. I've been at this Yoga exercise for 22 months, and I'm not changing anytime soon. There's many types of back pain and for mine, I'm lucky to have found this tutorial. I still can't travel on my own, but I can drive 30 minutes without extreme pain. Believe me, that means the world. I can go to the beach, the grocery store, the mall, anywhere nearby and not be miserable anymore. I'm 37 years old, male, 145 lbs, btw. THANK YOU LINDSEY!

    ive had back pain, bulging disc ,L4/5 for years and weakness ,never been able to advance ,i went to india and had time on my hands ,, this is where i started listening to my body and gently restucturing my back .. id recommend over other 'back pain turorials which contain exercises that can expect to much from those suffering back issues..

    The exercise beginning at 3:45 was only done on one side in the video. I'm guessing this ought to be done as a reflection with other leg crossed so as to maintain similar back composition and flexibility equally.

      I'm guessing that was accidentally not repeated, as all the other one-side moves are. I always pause the video right after that one and repeat on the other side, then resume.

    Thank you for making this video. I'm dude and was always on the side of yoga is for chicks. Welllll as I have gotten older and I have kids, working out less, gaining weight since I work all the time or out with the kids. My back is not happy about it, so a buddy said try yoga. So here I am, hopefully I will learn how to brake in my body vs brake down my body haha. Cheers

    Tried this video for the first time today. I feel sooo much better. I love how I can close my eyes and still follow everything because she talks you through it in such incredible detail. Best directions I ever heard. You cannot hurt yourself if you listen and follow. So happy!

    unfortunately, for anyone with serious lower back pain (especially sciatica), this video is much too fast and some of the moves are extremely painful. There are very few modifications. Use caution people

      Yes go slowly! If you have had sciatica from a herniated disc in your lower back, don't do the full cat/cow. Keep a neutral spine in cow. You can also try Fitness Blender for sciatica.

    I developed lower back pain from chronic coughing. I can't believe it actually worked, I only did 10 minutes of it because it was painful as I was doing it but I can say that my back is definitely more relaxed now. Thanks a lot!
