The fact that there's no evidence of their parents or even pictures that their parents are married/dating I don't think it's real. They think making people uncomfy will make them viral, that's it.
As far as I've found, they're not really step-siblings. Their parents were only dating. She said they've known each other for 6 years and met through their parents, who were dating at the time. They didn't start a relationship until 3 years later. So, who knows? If they still hung out because their parents were still dating or got married 3 years later, then yeah, that's pretty cringe that they would eventually hook up. However, if their parents only dated for a short while, but Diane and Jordie continued to hang out and get close, then that's really not that big of a deal. I personally believe the whole story is a hoax and that their parents aren't even dating, nor did they ever. Perhaps it's some couple that came up with the controversial story to get attention, views, and profit of their tik-tok account. Nothing draws more attention than a good scandal. That's why we're all here, isn't it?
I once read about a married couple who were both adopted, and when they started getting into their roots together they discovered they were siblings who were adopted into different families. Oops! They weren't raised together obviously and didn't know they had siblings, and they were already married and in love, so they basically said, "...lets just make sure we don't have kids." I can see where they're coming from on that one. It's such a specific and strange set of circumstances. I kinda feel like that couple is technically committing incest, but morally and spiritually not really.

Being a "tough man" and "in charge in the relationship" is still pretty much what society thinks about straight relationships. While being a gentle and caring man (which I love!) is still being frowned upon. Do you know why more men kill themselves than women?! Because at least being a strong woman isn't seen as such a problem as being a man who is sensitive and is not afraid of showing his feelings. (I have met men like that, they even joined the gym to look "tough" even though their personalities are something completely different)
@@icecranberry2148 it’s a societal issue but let’s not act like men are so willing to be sensitive but society holds them back. They aren’t, they aren’t taught to be. And women aren’t toughy to be tough or assertive. They are punished for it.
I don’t get the whole excuse “we’re not blood related so it’s okay”. I’m adopted into my family... and I’ve never found my brother or any of my male cousins attractive let alone further than that. There’s no excuse. This world is filled with eight billion people, you can fine someone who isn’t related to you
I know i have a cousin thats adopted his 5 years younger then me and i haven't seen him any different then his brothers that are by blood. A famous quote i love is "family doesn't end in blood" and that means to me is that even if we aren't related by blood but we are family.
I had a crush on a cousin before I really understood who he actually was and when I did understand I just stopped having the crush. My family thought it was funny and innocent and me and my cousin laugh about it but both get really uncomfortable when our family tries to introduce us as a couple. Because for one he's now an adult and we're cousins.
I think it depends on the situation too. If you grew up knowing them as brothers and cousins, then there's more of a familial bond. But if you're older when a step sibling is introduced into your life, it may be harder to see them as a sibling, especially for those who have immediate attraction.
when you said "this is an insult to the cosplay community" as a cosplay i totally agree, as a member of the cosplay community we don't except them and we pass her onto the gamers.
One of my guy friends had a lovesick crush on a girl, then their parents met while picking them up at school, got married, and guess what he stopped that crush right away. Because trying to date your step sibling is weird.
That actually sucks for him. I’ve heard stories of people that get married, have their parents get married to one another, and all of a sudden they’re step siblings
@Dima El-Qasem I never said that. What I meant was that ths situation sucks ass for them because now people will be like "You're step siblings and you're married?"
In my opinion it might be a little weird if step siblings grow up toghter like actual siblings. But later in Iife i see absolutely no problem what so ever. Why should a descicion the parents make influence the childrens feelings towards each other?

I cringe so hard when people talk about being an "alpha male" it's like they're insane. I'm a guy and I tend to be a "leader" in social situations and in my friend groups, but I have never even said the words "alpha" outside of math/chemistry unless it was in irony and making fun of people with this mindset. The whole "alpha dog" thing isn't even real, it's pop psychology that's been dismissed. That's how some animals behave, some of the time; No species of dog or wolf or whatever ALWAYS has distinct "alpha" and "beta" members, the ranks are shaken up all the time. To take this false "fact" from animals and then extrapolate it further to humans is borderline insane, and it is a straight up toxic mindset for someone to delude themselves into believing. And I don't believe for a second they are actually step-siblings, I think this was a last-ditch attempt to "go viral" from a dental hygienist. You're telling me that these chodes go around acting like this in public for 3 years and their parents haven't caught on? Yeah right. Gross all around.
In fact the "alpha" protocol only occurs when you have male wolves from different packs thrown into a facility because they're fucking terrified and don't know what's going on so they're trying to establish order
@@StCreed Good rule of thumb: if people have to *tell* you they are something (an alpha, a nice guy, "not racist but...") then they almost definitely aren't.
The original observation that led to the "alpha wolf hypothesis" occured when scientists saw some slightly bigger wolves use negative reinforcement to adjust the behavior of other wolves around them. What they failed to realize at the time, was that they were observing parents and their almost grown children interacting.
It’s weird that the “blocking her path out” thing is the biggest yikes for me in a video about incest. Even in haunted houses, where the intention is to scare you, scare actors are generally instructed to never block a guest’s path to an exit. Huge no-no.

If you tell your partner when you have a crush on someone, they don't need to get jealous and worry about whether or not you do. Trust is key and builds healthy relationships. Alright, hear me out. I talk in a baby voice sometimes. I often don't realize I'm doing it until someone points it out, and I've looked into it, and I do it because of a lot of childhood trauma I have, which makes me revert back to somewhat childlike behavior and speech patterns subconsciously as a way to go back to when I hadn't yet gone through that trauma. Again, I do this without realizing most of the time. HOWEVER. My "baby voice" is NOTHING like this girl's baby voice, and her voice sends me into what can only be described as a rage state because it just reminds me of this girl I knew who bragged about having trauma to gain sympathy. Coming from a person who slips into a sort of childlike voice sometimes, it's not "cute" in my opinion. For me, it's embarrassing, because sometimes I do it when I'm anxious in public and when I realize I'm doing it, I feel stupid and get mad at myself. Idk, maybe I'm weird, but I don't see any appeal in doing a baby voice on purpose, ESPECIALLY how she does it.
What's really vile to me about these tikotks is that her "baby" voice is obviously forced and fake because they're capitalizing on ageplay kinks which kinda fucks over the entire childhood trauma/little community :/

A conspiracy theory without the tinfoil hat. Bro that's a pretty valid sounding theory. Want to hear my completely unrelated C.T? No? Cool There has never been aliens on earth. The stereotypical alien appearance and story was fabricated by the U.S government. The "aliens" were actually handicapped humans being experimented on. Horrible disfigurements and alterations were just some of the results of genetic experimentation. From injecting unknown substances to blasting these unfortunate souls with radiation resulted in completely disfigured creatures that may have resembled the classic "alien" shape. It would also explain why aliens were thought to be derived from humans. A more advanced form. When in reality, they were poor humans experimented on just like they were in russia back in the day.

Being a "tough man" and "in charge in the relationship" is still pretty much what society thinks about straight relationships. While being a gentle and caring man (which I love!) is still being frowned upon. Do you know why more men kill themselves than women?!

Anytime someone calls himself an alpha, i mentally replace it with incel. It's pretty accurate, i think.

@@StCreed Good rule of thumb: if people have to *tell* you they are something (an alpha, a nice guy, "not racist but...") then they almost definitely aren't.

That went from "oh hell no" to understandable in a few sentences.

It would also explain why aliens were thought to be derived from humans. A more advanced form. When in reality, they were poor humans experimented on just like they were in russia back in the day.
I honestly wouldnt be surprised if thier actually bringing unconsenting parties into thier ddlg or incest kink. It just reeks of voyerism with no regard for others
This seems like a fairly valid theory.
"I'm jealous of Charli D'amelio"
MA'AM you are a whole dentist. Zoom call the country club pool and have a mimosa.
A mimosa sounds good right about now
Congratulations, I didn't understand a word of what you just said
@@Scrufflord A mimosa is orange juice and champagne and rest is hard to decipher
pause at 5:11 one of the goddamn captions is... "#alphabama" OKAY. *IS THIS A FUCKING JOKE? CAUSE GOD DAMNIT I WISH IT WAS.*
Sweet home Alphabama
Imagine shes your dentist and she just starts talking in her 'baby voice' like, "Uh ohhhhh, you've got a cavIIITYYYYYYYY"
i would just let my teeth rot tbh
I would just rip the tooth out myself. I ain’t dealing with that weird shit. I just want the normal dentist talk when they talk normally and aren’t annoying as hell.
imagining this this made snakes manifest physically in my home
The replies 😂 💀
Im leaving i dont care i find someone else my tooth can wait
Anyone remember “my life with Derek” on Disney? And the weird tension and chemistry between the two main characters who were step siblings? Well they’ve grown up now and this is them. Feel old yet?
it’s because the real actors for Derek and Casey were actually dating in real life at the time
At least the show had them date other people while they were living together.
I'm so glad someone else can confirm that they had tension! I remember picking up on it as a kid, but have never heard anyone else point it out. I feel so validated right now, dude, thank you.
@@Fimbleshanks same!
omg yes even as a kid I was like "uhhh I don't like this." Jarvis should totally make a video on it though.
imagine going on tik tok one day and seeing your dentist kissing her brother
Ig she's to young to be a dentist. I'd bet 10 bucks she was either in dental school and dropped out for tiktok or just a lower level employee at a dentist's.
@@sourgummiescureyourpain4555 I mean plenty of people look younger than they are , also being a dentist doesn't take that long . Most of them graduate at like 23-25
Or maybe she’s a hygienist. My friend is 24 and she just started working at an office.
@Ana Pie wait ... don't most people graduate at 17 ?
@Ana Pie yeah I was not born in the states , i was actually born in Algeria and there we have 5 years of elementary school , 4 years if middle school and 3 years of high school and because of that most of us graduate at 17 . I started school at 5 years old so I actually graduated at 16
I just realized it while rewatching this. Her baby voice sounds like those mandrake things from Harry Potter.
As a representative of the cosplay community we don't claim them.
same here
You cosplay as the SIMPsons?
Agreed
@I don’t know what to call myself. why did you let them in our driveway??? i sent them out to the curb
In the garbage and strait to the trash island they go!
Nah Jarvis, it IS a cosplay channel. They're just cosplaying Zeus and Hera to the point where they're method acting.
I always imagined Hera would have a screechy baby voice every time Zeus would cheat on her
@@baffled_clam, a permanent screechy baby voice, then.
As a Greek, I'm really offended.
*Griffin you took my fucking comment*
@@baffled_clam That's basically it, but she turns the cheaters into animals.
which Griffin 😳😳😳
kurtis conner’s country song has entered the chat...

Same

You are the yee to my haw :)
Hiiiii so glad another fellow Kurtis town member!
