Do you add all 3 layers on the same day?

yes, you just have to be careful that it can dry easily. Rotating it as it dries and placing it in the sun will help.

Is there a way to use glue instead of flour. I hope you respond soon. My birthday is on the 28th

Hi. I have never made a piñata with glue and water, but I think it would work. We have done smaller paper mache projects with kids that use 1/2 glue and 1/2 water mixture. Instead of newspaper we would use those brown paper towels (or thinner paper) because they can form easier. I would love to know if your piñata works out!

how breakable is this piñata with 3 layers? once my family made one that the kids could not break

It is doable, but does take a good swing. You could always add a small crack so that it breaks easily or try two layers.
