😍I had watched many review so I decided to buy this headset. I was a bit hesitant, but now that is arrived I am very positive about it. First its heavy you gonna feel it, but also comfortable at the same time?! Its mostly plastic but the structure very solid, no cracking or loose parts. I wish I could wear around my neck but I am too big. Never mind. The most worried I was about sound: everywhere I watched a review they said its bass heavy, so my first thing was to customize the EQ. The sound blow me away! Before I had a 10 dollar earplug so its a big upgrade! I tried on Iphone was listening to songs and very good quality. I say its a 8.5/10 very satisfied with it!
Just got this headset and I'm very impressed. Sure there are better, more expensive ones out there but for the money its great. I got Dolby Atmos from the XBOX store and it sounds incredible. Its also feels sturdy and comfy Happy gaming!

I have the wired set. I love it for gaming. The wireless set is far better for xbox gaming though just for the ability to EQ on console. That being said, these are worth it for 60 USD. Especially with windows sonic enabled.
Honestly I think the feedback is just a TRRS thing. IIRC it's something to do with the common ground. It's simply just better to keep the stereo and mic signals (and their ground wires) completely separate.
It’s good that they maintained quality in this wired version. I have however seen a disturbing trend in that direct connect wireless Xbox headsets by different brands don’t have a 3.5 mm jack why is that? I haven’t found an answer? Do you get to the bottom of the Mic feedback? Just got some artics steel series 1 and had a feedback issue with that, swapped for the Xbox wired headset not tried them yet. Is there a way to stop it happening
Seems to be an inherent flaw with some less expensive wired headsets. All you can do is hope yours doesn’t do it or purchase something like an H3 or H6PRO or Drop PC38X
Yeah the game setting has way too much bass because of how the headset is tuned from Microsoft. The default sound is too muddy which kills clarity. I would tune a little more than what I suggest but that’s a good start. If you think too much mid bass is missing just raise it back up a little. I haven’t tuned it in a while but I measured it and the 125 to 250hz bass is way too high. Low bass is fine/slightly lacking.

I am checking out the HS70 which I could use with PC and Xbox. I like the idea of using Bluetooth for Discord voice chat and the 3.5mm cable for Xbox controller game audio.
Is there a driver that I need to install for this headset to work? When I plug it in and select Headphones (with microphone) from the pop up box, my mic does not work but I can hear the audio perfectly well. I've enabled everything with regards to the mic but only the built-in mic on my Dell XPS 13 works and not this headset's mic...
I never MP/coop games anymore, so I am thinking the feedback won't be a consideration for me. So may end up with the Xbox brand wired.
10:20 does that cause echoing in a voice chat? I mostly play with my friends so that would be a pretty annoying issue. Want to make sure before i buy them
Of course not. It’s a first part headset. It’s literally made for Xbox
how do u conenct the xbox wired stereo headset on the windows 10 cause the sound dont come up
Worth to buy ?
mine snapped where the side (the volume slider side) snapped right above the actual headphone. Don't know how to fix but it isnt that bad.
How about good value at $25?
Me realizing my problem is it came with 0 volume lol😊
I bought the wired one and the sound is so muffled. Should I return it?
I would try to tune the audio profile in the Dolby Atmos app if you have access to it. If not, and you don't want to pay for the Atmos app, I would buy the Recon 200 Gen 2. It's a MUCH better sound headset at this price point. I just released my review on it on our channel.
Can you update this headset? Like you can with the wireless one.
It's purely analog so there's no software, drivers, or updates to deal with.
For some reason I can’t talk in game chat with this headset but I can talk in party chat does anyone know why that is?
How do I fix it it makes a loud weird sound when I unmute my mic?
Can you plug recon 500 in the xbox series x controller ?
Yes you can
For some reason I have to be really loud for my mic to catch my voice, is there any way to fix that? I’ve tried everything
Same here I really don’t know what to do did you fixed yours ?
Do you get to the bottom of the Mic feedback? Just got some artics steel series 1 and had a feedback issue with that, swapped for the Xbox wired headset not tried them yet. Is there a way to stop it happening
Seems to be an inherent flaw with some less expensive wired headsets. All you can do is hope yours doesn’t do it or purchase something like an H3 or H6PRO or Drop PC38X
@@GadgetryTech I've not noticed it but I'm with you on the sound quality, just got the Dolby app to try balance it out
Drop the 250hz bass all the way for the Xbox headset. Makes a big difference. Lower 125ish about half way down
@@GadgetryTech cheers dude will try that. Do you prefer that to using the game setting that it's present at
Yeah the game setting has way too much bass because of how the headset is tuned from Microsoft.
10:20 is this fixed yet?
2 years later, it is still not fixed. my friends can hear my game all the time
Good thing I’m a casual player 😂
Plugged these in and I don’t get any audio at all. Please help. What am I missing. I have the wired version
Did you check volume adjustment on ear cup and on controller/PC? You need to make sure both are turned up.
@@GadgetryTech yes I did and I ended up figuring it out. It was indeed Tammy volume settings. I was about to rage😂😂 thank you
Non removable cord is horrible
I have the a50 I need a good setting for pubg help me out bro please I need it to hear everything
i've just bought this headset and connected it to my pc but dolby access doesn't recognize my headset. Anyone had that issue too ? I've conected it with Y splitter.
Does it work on pc
I've just got this, but my mic isn't working, I can hear but can't talk. I'm on Xbox
same
@@rizzsb I just plugged mine into a different controller without an adapter and it's working fine now
I can’t get them to connect to my Xbox
Ty
Could you do a comparison video on the HS75 XB vs the Xbox wireless headset?
I probably should revisit some roundup style headset reviews soon. As soon as I catch up on some other reviews I'll be sure to look at some options!
@@GadgetryTech thanks, because I feel as with all these new wireless headsets out and a lot of them competing with each other a review from you would be excellent due to the amount of effort you put into the video
@@pagosiixbl2136 haha I appreciate it! My reviews take forever because I end up listening them for hours then get too tired to film lol. I’m getting there. Stay tuned and thanks for the support!
So should i return it since only one speaker let’s out sound? Or does anyone have a solution. Also without the adapter in my series s controller it doesn’t play any sound even after trying to update my controller and restarting the system. Please help if ya can.
Did you fix it bro?
My $60 Sony headphones broke on me and I need a $60-$70 price point so I’m looking for something good enough quality but cheap
Recon 500 from Turtle Beach is pretty amazing for the money
I got the wireless. The wireless smokes them!
In what way?
Do these have separate volume controls for game volume vs chat volume? (Sorry if that was obvious in your review, but I missed it)
No, only the wireless version has this feature
Without detachable wire this is trash. It’s a must to have detachable so if ever the wire messes up you could just buy a new wire instead of a whole new headset
Thanks for fair review i am looking for best headset under 60$,i was waiting for IT but ure good review did cancel My Buy What is best headset under 60$ for console?
I would swing for the Recon 200 Gen 2 or the HyperX CloudX from a pure sound quality standpoint for gaming
The astra a10 and 50 take the belt for durability.
Even though I love the sound quality of the A50 Gen 4s, I’ve had more physical durability issues with that headset than most.
@@GadgetryTech i havent had any issues with my a50s though im to afraid to stress them. 300 bucks aint. No joke.
The a10s tho you cannot deny theys things are like the nokia phone of the gaming headsets.
Nah my girlfriend and I got a50s and they both have physical issues and we think they are overpriced and not worth the price tag
@@hamishevans9102 I’ve only had software issues but the headphones worked fine. But the a10s are definitely hands down are the best in durability.
Holy fuck, what a long rant about the lack of tilt. There is also tilt in cushioning you know…
Lol I have my moments
Bought them prior seeing this.
Cant play Halo with this bass is fucked
