Did the same thing earlier this year. Went from 12 to 8 then down to 6 and eventually down again to 4 plus a gshock. I’m done for now but I’m tempted to sell two and buy one and be at 3 watches plus a gshock. Much happier with less watches but better quality.

You have a cool watch collection. Good choice on buying the two new watches. I only have four watches and struggle to rotate them - whichever one is on my wrist is the one I want to keep wearing! I have the new Explorer 36mm and the 38mm blue dial Aqua Terra and those are the two that fill the same, do-it-all criteria. Obvious thing would be to sell the AT but I just can’t let that blue dial go!

I have the blue 38 mm Aqua Terra too. Don’t sell it! It’s a great watch. I have the 36 OP, BlackBay 54 and Speedy Sapphire too, but my AT will never leave my collection.

I sold my white dial Sky dweller, my Greek dial Seamaster, and my neo-vintage explorer 2 black dial, picked up Seamaster 60th, Explorer 2 polar ( latest version) and Rolex Pepsi, hard choices but better in the end, congrats

You did exactly what I’m in the proces of. Its hard choices because the watches you sold are excellent watches. But I feel I’m a more happy collector making the tough calls. Well done on trimning your collection.

You had to make some tough calls. The Tudor would have been a keeper for me. But that Paneri! 😍 Sweet 🤤

I have to slim down my collection as well. I’m going to sell at least four watches soon. Maybe I’ll offer a bunch of my more affordable watches as a convolute as well.

HaHa! When you're spending thousands, tens of thousands of dollars on watches, yes you have to take things very seriously because it doesn't make any sense to spend that kind of money on a watch/watches! But when you collect budget watches, you can relax and really have fun! You don't have to limit yourself, you can have as many watches as you want. Unfortunately for some though, the fear of being shamed because they're not wearing an expensive luxury watch is just too much to bare!

It is possible to equally enjoy inexpensive and expensive watches. I have a Breitling, Tudor, and a Rolex, but I also have a Seiko Skx007, 009, Tissot Visodate, Hamilton Khaki King, and a Seiko Chronograph quartz that all get equal wrist time and are enjoyed.
