I bought the chef's knife 6 weeks ago. I have arthritis and have difficulty gripping the western type of knife handle, the handle on your knife is the perfect shape for me, nice and big and easy to hold. The blade is great as well, good and sharp, very well designed and for someone with arthritis, very easy to use, I love it.
Refika!!! I love how you have taken so much care to support Turkish artisans and craftsmen! You have a heart of gold. Also, you look so pretty in this video!
This person is sustaining crafts by supporting the locals. She also has an artist's heart. I love small businesses' products. I feel the love, strength and presence of the craftsperson. I hope influencers in other countries do so as well.
ANYTHING food cooking or baking related is a BIG help!! I'm here in Arizona, USA, watching your product line video you have . Some great stuff! I know modern technology can be a big pain, but it has brought the countries of the world together. Different countries still have their own unique cultures, but also, there is now SO MUCH shared lifestyles as well, making visiting another very much familar and like "home," and yet experiencing the uniqueness of that country. Like, no matter where you go, your at home. Thanks to TH-cam we get awesome experiences from all around the world and from the comments people from all around the world are watching and gathering new ideas and information at the same time. We, in the world are no longer strangers. We have now become united To me this is HUGE! To me this is how it should be.This means to me putting differences aside as we are a lot more the same than different. Sure love watching your channel. Turkey is nolonger a place far, far away across the ocean, some place you've heard of and know exists, but now a very familiar and tangible country, a place I could sure spend some time at. So cool!❤
I think it’s good that you talked about these products because it makes a huge difference between just selling products for marketing or selling handcrafted products to help the community to thrive. looking forward to hearing the story behind the other products in your Etsy store.
Refika, I *knew* you were a GENIUS with a huge heart! Longtime student of Turkish art, language, textiles, food...I want to visit soon...❤ you've made me fall in love with Türkiye all over again...bless you. (I'm getting the cutlery sets! All of them. So elegant--yes! And those funnels.) ❤
I feel lucky to own a number of Refika's products and the quality of each item is amazing! A few were gifted to me by family members. All of the knives on her Etsy site are exceptional and will be used daily in my household for many years to come. They are beautifully made. I compaired prices of chef's knives for weeks and Refika's are more affordable and better designed than what else I had found out there. The olive oil and the pomegranate sour are the best quality I have ever tasted. The funnel set is perfect. I have had only good experiences with purchases I have made from her Etsy store and will be collecting more of her products. They are worth every penny and reasonably priced. And I love knowing the purchases support traditional Turkish-made, quality, often hand made, very special products. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Refika and team! I appreciate that you share your wonderful food and beautiful culture with all of us!
I use your knife everyday . I love it. I'm almost out of your red pepper, which is so good and the olive oil is yummy. Making your recipes a lot and introducing Turkish cuisine to my friends here in Japan.
I always find your posts entertaining, but I love this one. You actually DO something positive about situations that may seem small, but have a wonderful impact.
Thank you for sharing. I really love everything you sell! I can’t wait to start buying your items, they all are beautiful! Greetings from Jax, Florida! 😊
I'm in Canada and just want to say that I think it's fantastic that you're promoting small industry in your country, that I know was hit hard. I love the effort and your philosophy. I recently ordered your knife, I'm not sure how because I can no longer find the page, but it's supposed to arrive in 2 days. Fingers crossed. I realise that time has moved forward, but I hope you never stop pushing for small business in your country to thrive. Thank you for all that you share.
I love the way you seek out Turkish artisans and products that may have become lost, and shine a light on them again ♥ I also love my "Refika knife" which lives in my kitchen in Massachusetts USA.
You spoil us - so many great products to choose from!!! I will build them into my new kitchen piece by piece. I admire how you & your team have revived and supported traditional artisans, and even added modern touches. This is a wonderful way of preserving traditional arts and crafts, and they deserve to be.
Oh! I forgot to say … I had noticed your knife in your cooking video and I’m grateful to know where it came from I will start saving my spending allowance as I would so adore owning one of your incredible knives one day. I have a lot of knives that have been in use for over 40 years but I have recently been looking at Japanese knives as they make some thin knives. I’m wanting. A mincing knife. Yours seems ideal. I’m so happy to have found you. Your zest for life and love of your people gives me more joy than you know. I adore you! 🙏🏼♥️Kelly
Hi Refika, I just got some of these products. I got the those lovely tea glasses you designed, the chef's knife, and the skewers to make kebabs. I was so pleased with them and with the quality, the packaging, and the instructions that came with the chef's knife. I plan to get the cutting board and other items as well. I have a suggestion as well if you don't mind. I am very interested in getting a çay dan lik as the one you used in this show. 👌👌👌 I wish you would sell those in different colours. We can buy çay dan liks here too from Turkish stores or buy them online, but I don't like those designs as much as the one I saw you using. Do you think you could make that available as one of your Refika'dan products on Etsy as well??? Would love to buy it!
Seeing how much Turkish people love their cay, and their beautiful Gonlubol, reminded me of when I visited Morocco with their hospitality ritual of the Moroccan mint tea. Your comment regarding drinking whisky from the same glass reminded me so much of Whisky Maroccaine, as they call it also. Probably because the sweetened mint tea looks very similar to whisky, and being a predominately Muslim country, they mostly don't drink alcohol, but everyone drinks mint tea. I love the products you featured here Refika, and also the fact that you are using your platform to support local artisans and small producers! Much love to you and your team from New Zealand!
I love it! I live in New Zealand, I love your idea to bring the olden days good stuff back! Love it! You are such the kindest woman! Bless you, and your team, May God bless Turkey!
To my delight, the knife of my dreams arrived today. It is magnificent. Beautifully crafted, Beautifully balanced, and a sheer delight to look at too. It feels like slicing with an extension of my own arm. As an Australian, I love that my purchase is supporting skilled Turks during tough times. Our countries have such a curious connection, born of conflict but cemented as respect. Thank you so much Refika Thank you for making this wonderful knife something that now holds pride of place in my kitchen, and thank you for providing me the opportunity to support your craftsmen, Oh, and thank you for the abundant tips and recipes I've learned from your channel.
Congratulations Refika I love the way you help craftsmen and women become more sustainable by supporting their work and their great stories. I will go to your store now and buy some beauties.
Dear Refika, I am deeply touched by your big heart, generosity, and sense of quality and beauty. You've found people with unique and beautiful skills, craftsmen, so not only they can create income but also they feel honored by being seen and acknowledged for their skills. You are also preventing the death of those uniques skills resulting in handmade kinds of stuff that are otherwise disappearing from the face of this planet. For what you are doing I have only a huge admiration. I've never been to Turkey and Istambul but because of all of this, I cannot wait to come to Istanbul and find your Refika's Dan. Hopefully to meet you as well. I was born in Sarajevo, Bosnia, and loved to go to the old crafts market that looked like something from another world and yet so beautiful.
Hello Refika, I really admire what you are doing because I care as well about my community, and by supporting my local farmers we can make a difference. I'll be ordering many of your products.:}
What a great designer you are too! Love the way you explain everything and it’s importance. Thank you Refika, always looking forward to your videos 🌹❤️
I recently bought your chef's knife as well as a few other pieces from your Etsy store and they are all beautiful! The knife is an absolute revelation though, it's become my go to knife for how natural it feels in the hand, it's ergonomic and sharp. Though I own more expensive knives, yours is my top choice! Also love the chai cup.
What a wonderful video Rafika! I love love love your knife, it is my favorite. When you say you have taken a long time to create it, I totally believe it! It is, like you mentioned an extension of my hand, I love everything about it! I am keeping this in mind for the special friends around me that enjoy cooking as much as I do! It will be a wonderful present for them… keep on promoting your beautiful country and its artisans , keep on doing what you do, we love you❤️ and you team too! Big hugs From Canada!
I came from Saudi Arabia to istanbul and went to your store and got your wonderful tea cups. Nw I took them to me all the way to New Zealand. I LOVE THEM!!
Oh heavens Rafika! I’ll take at least one of each!!! Such lovely, thoughtful products that slllook like they would add so much joy to everyday life. So lovely, wise and inviting thank you for the wonderful tour! 🙏🏼♥️Kelly
I watch from Jamaica and have always wondered where I can get these awesome products… thank you so much for sharing with the world 😎…and thank you for always thinking of the less fortunate and their survival…you are a rockstar.. bless up…👍🏾
Şimşir is boxwood. I love it too! My housemate laughed when I brought home wooden spoons from my last trip to Turkey, but he used them one time and was convinced! Aside from those, I think my most-used Turkish implement is my little brass pepper mill with the cap on the bottom, which makes it easy to measure freshly ground pepper. Some of these things (offset spatula, canning funnel) are fairly available where I live, though many home cooks might not be aware of them. But I’ve never seen a cutting board like that, and what a great idea! The tombul tea glass is genius, and beautiful too. (I drink whisky from Turkish tea glasses too!) I also love the spice rack, but then you still need another place to store the rest of the spices. Because I can imagine the face of an Eminönü ahtarcı if you ask him to sell you 4 grams of pul biber…😱 Love your channel!
I love your products but how can I get these sitting in Canada ?do you have an international Shipping system please let me know,I love old methods of cooking and using all the ancient utensils and spices..plz Answer Rafika
Thanks for talking about your Turkish produced cooking products! I wish our countries were closer so I could support more family and village businesses. I am very happy with the mat flatware and your chef Knife is my favorite. I was in hospital all last year and did not get to grill like I thought so I’m very much looking forward to kebab and chores on the grill With your spices this summer!
Hi Refika You are a wealth of knowledge and I love that you share it with us. I absolutely love your channel and will be checking out your products. Thank you 🥰💕
Reifika we have watched you now for a long time...we enjoy every show. This how is SO wonderful! Not only telling us about the products...but why you made them more useful. THANK YOU!!!!
Hahahahah….I would absolutely love to meet you before we get old. Refika, you have no idea how much joy you bring to our (mine, for sure!) lives. Thank You, Lord, for gifting us with Refika🙏🏻❤️
I love your channel Refika - I'm so grateful I came across it,you've made Turkish cooking accessible to so many people - you are definitely a master in the kitchen - God bless you, your family and all the team, love from Scotland ❤️
Refika, wow you and your team have really put a lot of time and careful consideration into each of your products. Clearly it has been for you a labor of love. Thank you for taking the time to share some of your products, we are glad to know about them. We are off to the Etsy site to follow your shop! Be well and stay safe!!
I am so glad I found you. I would love many of these products. I went to culinary college and now find my chefs knife harder to handle because of my age, your design looks perfect. I also love the cutting board. Now I must ask, I watch a you tube Chanel from Azerbaijan where the woman uses incredibly beautiful large and small enamel bowls. The flower design are so bright and happy, I’d love to get some like that if you one day also make that available. I love your food and have started converting my cooking to incorporate many of the foods you have shown. Thank you.
Hello beautiful chef 🌹! My oh my this episode was amazing,, and for me I loved everything you showed but my favorite was the chai glass 👏👏👏👏👏I'm giving you a standing ovation. Just like you I love my chai hot and no matter where I went shopping for a tea glass I couldn't find the right one 🙁! But now I know where to buy one 😌! And I love hearing about Turkish stories because my great grandparents were Turkish and it's good that we know something about our roots so I have no problem hearing about Turkey all day long 👍👍. And as usual always looking forward to the next episode,,always glad to learn something new and excited about what your team and you have come up with. Very talented team😘😘👍👍. Sending you and your team lots of love 😘😘😘😘❤️❤️❤️❤️ and I'll see you in the next episode 🤗🤗🤗 luv yah 💖💖💖💖💖!
Love your products. Could you please let me know if you test you enamel dishes for heavy metal content. The problem with enamel, that lead is often used and in bright colors cadmium can be used as well, so if your dishes are heavy metals free it would be great and I would definitely try it 🤩
I checked Etsy for some of your other products. Will gradually start to add to my kitchen. Thank you Rafika so very much. Love this video as well as very important to have right tools for kitchen and to eat with.
Im so glad I found you and your products. Recipes you have a lovely personality. Will definately buy some of your tea glasses. I love them and your knife and your spice rack .l just love everything you presented. Ali from Australia 😘
Trust you to come up with useful and beautiful products, fulfill your creativity and need to be practical….while help the artisan community in your country at the same time. Amazing.
Love all those products. Thanks for this episode. I can buy something for my daughter for Christmas. I’d love to know more about workflows that save time. Cheers
the products are really great, made more interesting by your story telling❤❤ and your support of local artisan/craftsmen. and Refika and Bahar...you're both looking great!!
I really like these products. they seem really thought through.=, unlike many other chefs lines that are just the same stuff rebranded and colored. specially the knife always stands out in the videos to me and would love to try it.
Refika, pls make a video about tomato soup. Best tomato soup I have ever had was in Turkey. It's not like the stuff here in the U.S. . Thank you for all your efforts! I love ur straight out of the normal household kitchen. I get so turned off by fufu-type cooking shows. Keep going!
In my family when the baby gets old and no longer needs a muslin we start using the muslins in the kitchen to make cheese etc. Waste not want not! I like your tea towels a lot. I think I will invest in some.
Thank you for finding your u tube channel.. because you are only the arabic blogger which I can speak English fluently and pronounce nicely Thank you for sharing your traditional knowledge about those kitchen utensils..I'm a Filipina working here in UAE.Keep sharing your knowledge and recipe of your country dishes and food...
dear salud sagario , refika is a turkish woman not an arabic. because we turks are not arabs. turks and arabs are different nations and have different languages and cultures too.

I appreciate how you guys are doing so much for local and long forgotten businesses. It means a lot to those people 🌻
It really is all we are trying to achieve.. 🙏❤️

It's great you support local businesses ❤ The products you have designed are smart and thank you for sharing!
You are so welcome!
Thanks for going over these products, it was insighful. I love that you have everything made in Turkey by small handmade producers.
❤️🙏
I love your thoughtfulness and integrity. Also trying to keep old ways that are still needed.
The "bench" the weavers work at is called a loom in English. I love handwoven towels!
I love the towels and the jar-thingys so you dont spill anything on sides. That is clever design.

Refila! How wonderful, so many clever products & I love that they support Turkish Artisans. God Bless You! Love your recipes ♥️

Oh heavens Rafika! I’ll take at least one of each!!! Such lovely, thoughtful products that slllook like they would add so much joy to everyday life. So lovely, wise and inviting thank you for the wonderful tour! 🙏🏼♥️Kelly
I have literally been wanting to find funnels like that! I hadn’t found any before now.
I’m gonna cry :😢 I hope your shop opens up soon !

I also love the spice rack, but then you still need another place to store the rest of the spices. Because I can imagine the face of an Eminönü ahtarcı if you ask him to sell you 4 grams of pul biber…😱
Love your channel!

Hi Refika
You are a wealth of knowledge and I love that you share it with us.
I absolutely love your channel and will be checking out your products.
Thank you 🥰💕
Lovely products and so nice to hear the stories behind them.
That tea cup is everything! Ordering it for sure.
Awesome what you're doing for the people in your country!
Reifika we have watched you now for a long time...we enjoy every show.
This how is SO wonderful! Not only telling us about the products...but why you made them more useful. THANK YOU!!!!
I have never been so impressed with thought put into spatulas (of course most of us know we need something different, but 6 spatulas later ….)
So glad you shared the background of your items, so interesting! ☺️
Hahahahah….I would absolutely love to meet you before we get old. Refika, you have no idea how much joy you bring to our (mine, for sure!) lives. Thank You, Lord, for gifting us with Refika🙏🏻❤️
You are looking soooo beautiful here. Your support for locals shows how caring you are. All things are amazing specially the tea glass,i loveee it.
So nice of you
I love your channel Refika - I'm so grateful I came across it,you've made Turkish cooking accessible to so many people - you are definitely a master in the kitchen - God bless you, your family and all the team, love from Scotland ❤️
The funnels are GENIUS!
Well done team. Well done! All is perfect!
Refika, wow you and your team have really put a lot of time and careful consideration into each of your products. Clearly it has been for you a labor of love. Thank you for taking the time to share some of your products, we are glad to know about them. We are off to the Etsy site to follow your shop! Be well and stay safe!!
Omg...I love it...flour, organic legumes, you are absolutely right.
I love the chopping board! ❤️❤️❤️
Love your chef's offset knife. My problem is having small hands. A 6" chef knife works best for me. 8" to 10" knives are just to large for me.
Beautiful towels. They are “absorbent”
Yay! First?
Beautiful kitchen tools. Love this video and your description of each one!
❤️🙏
Can't believe you didn't include the triangular kebab skewers: they're an absolute game changer!
You are right... I should have 😅
Omg, Refika I went to the Etsy and it's full of amazing stuff!! Thanks for working so hard on these products
❤️🙏🙏 thank you so much for appreciating!

Sooo glad to hear that you liked the episode bobby! Thanks a lot for appreciating ❤️
The glass plates are beautiful! I’d love to try the knife and spatula. I love watching your videos. Refika, you are such a joy in this world. ❤️🌷
Refika-I enjoy your videos so much! Delightful cooking demonstrations snd products! Thank you!!
We have lots of things to learn from you Refika! Love you so much!
Love your products. Could you please let me know if you test you enamel dishes for heavy metal content. The problem with enamel, that lead is often used and in bright colors cadmium can be used as well, so if your dishes are heavy metals free it would be great and I would definitely try it 🤩
Love ❤️ your channel and also the fact you are bringing community's together while providing great creations for alll
I checked Etsy for some of your other products. Will gradually start to add to my kitchen. Thank you Rafika so very much. Love this video as well as very important to have right tools for kitchen and to eat with.

So nice of you!
the products are really great, made more interesting by your story telling❤❤ and your support of local artisan/craftsmen. and Refika and Bahar...you're both looking great!!
I really like these products. they seem really thought through.=, unlike many other chefs lines that are just the same stuff rebranded and colored. specially the knife always stands out in the videos to me and would love to try it.
thank you so much for your appreciation.. me and my team really spend months to get them perfect ❤️ glad that it shows 🙏
Do you know when the spice rack and flatware will be available on Etsy?
Loved the video... These videos are the one I wait for.. Loaded with ideas and tips... And great you look after the local artisans
Thanks so much 😊
Great design, advertise even more, it's fun to watch!
Excellent 👌🏻 Greetings from Scotland 😊 Have a wonderful day everyone 🌻
I purchased your beautiful chef knife and absolutely enjoy cooking with it. Feels well balanced and the handle is very comfortable. ❤️❤️❤️ it!!!
thank you so much for your support!
Love your stuff Refika. Love you too!
Nice job! You sell both your products & an gastronomic kaleidoscope seasoned with historical facts. Sorry I missed you 2 months ago in Istanbul! 💕💕
@@lunarbike .. thank you for correcting me.I appreciate that
