    Hi,
    I received the 'Zero's yesterday. Its fit well in my ears with good isolation. To my ears, the zeros have bright and clear neutral with just enough bass sound signature.
    Thank you.

    Usually I wouldn't call this sort of tuning fun but these are absolutely fun. Yet? Somehow pretty good on technical abilities and relaxing at times if that makes sense. I'm really impressed. I'm just using the orange tips so far. Haven't even tried my other tips yet. So far I really like male vocals on this. It's very accurate there. These compete with the 80 dollar crowd easily to me personally. I think it beats Chu outright except in a few areas like female vocals. Chu is very tame in comparison Zero to my ears.

    Thanks for comparing it to the Aria. I’m selling my Starfield (not a fan of wearing £120 in my ears, especially with paint prone to chipping) and I’ve heard that the Aria are basically 95% as good sound quality as the Starfield. So that’s a very useful comparison for me
    Would you say there’s a big difference in the technicalities between the Zero and the Aria though? Especially in detail/resolution. The clarity of my Starfield is definitely something I’ll miss

      Zero os definitely an amazing iem but the Aria is superior.
      Bass is fuller.....mids even more correct than the already excellent Zero mods....highs almost as extended.

    Also a little question, I was really thinking in putting a cable in my pair of Chus if my cable ever fails, hope not! there are guides here, it's nice :), would you consider it to be hard or easy to make a mistake? Thanks!!

      I used the 500 series Comply foam tips and the bass response just came alive!! I also used the 500s on the Chu, and it improved the bass on both. I use iems to record and film a TV show in the studio, and use different ones for different tasks( drummers ,vocals) . I use the Heart Mirror for most female vocalists again with the 500 s and every singer loved them. On the BLON 03 I used the series 200, as the nozzle is a bit smaller, the 500s slip down, 200s stay put. I use the 03s for drummers, bassists and they love them. With the Comply tips I haven’t had Any fit or comfort complaints, and they stayed put. Sonny T

    i share a similar opinion... i see no reason to keep my other IEMs under 50U$ but as references...see...
    I used 7hz Zero to hear this video. I hear the voice of the reviewer loud and clear so the variations of his voice in relation of the mic distance and position. IN THE SAME TIME, i could hear the music background, sometimes with amazing level of details. I have the same amusement when i hear my playlists.
    and the final blow... in my ears, the confort and isolation is superior of all IEMs i had tested (and could remember).
    So... what exists after Saltnotes Zero in "under 50U$" category? I really don't know.
    at this point one thing seems obvious:
    "Budgets" are eating "wallets". And i'm loving it.

      Have both and both are excellent, as modded. I stopped buying more IEM's after the S12...my IEM endgame purchase. Actually, I have had more enjoyment changing the way I listen to these IEM's...using a BT5.2 earhook set from KZ called the AZ09 Pro. They only cost me $28 for the set (AliEx sale price) and I have been enjoying them for about 1 year. Liked them so much, bought a second set for safe measure. The earhooks are so damn convenient, with plenty of power for the S12 (3 taps to left earhook for power mode) and decent battery life (6.5 hours/5.5 in power mode, 42 hours on case). Excellent BT pairing, decent range in AptX (AptX LL, AAC, and SBC too), very good call quality (CVC+), comfortable. No ANC or ambient, of course. If you want ANC/ambient...go for earbuds, instead. The BTR5 and after-market cables have been collecting dust, ever since.

      @praxis22 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@akros9333 Aye, I have very large ear canals, the original Chu tips, even the big ones fall out of my ears, because of the squirly cable. More than anything else however, (Possibly because of the deep insertion) is the sound stage and the definition I get with the Chu. Pretty much everything except the bass and the center channel, takes place outside of my head, with pinpoint accuracy, and the usual thing where higher notes from a given source appear higher on the stage the higher they go. It could just be my head, but I have never heard anything like this. That and with the Red vinyl tips from the 7hz I can hear somebody plucking a guitar, behind Songbird from Rumours by Fleetwood Mac. Never hear that before either. The Chu also has this uncanny ability to hold onto the center and push it forward. Like the voice on the Hives "Hate to say I told you so" where it gets chaotic towards the end. Another live track I have where the guitar is buried by the bass and drums on the 7Hz, but is present and correct on the Chu. I have far more expensive IEMs but none of them save the UrbunFun YBF get even close to the stage & definition of the Chu, and it cost $20...

So boosting the dB of 1 frequency to delight people is not the right way. Hbb talks about that last video ans makes sense . For me when I play with high volumes. I find most iem with no mid bass and boosted mid high frequency that is not the tonality that sounds natural
