Will using kz tips improve it?
As mentioned in the video, stocks sounded fine we're just uncomfortable. Tips are very subjective and you just have to play around with them. Try different brands and styles. Some stock tips work best and some don't. Everyone's ears are different. Manufacturers try their best to pair tips that they believe sound the best.
I've had these for a while, tbh I'm not that impressed with the sound signature, it's kinda flat. Not to forget that it's too big for a comfortable fit
I haven't heard a Bl03 or HeartMirror in a long time. Going off memory, the Heartmirror is a more mids and treble focus with better detail and resolution but lacks bass impact and note weight. Blon is bassier but not as defined and clean, mids are more laidback and full and the treble is more peaky, details and resolution are not as good as the Zero. Please keep in mind, this is from memory and I haven't done side by side comparisons.

I have had this set for over a month now, and I am past the “burn in” phase that the instructions recommended. These IEMs are simply not worthy of the hype surrounding them. The sub and mud bass are lacking. The high end trebles are definitely sibilant when any measurable volume is applied. The soundstage is passable. Even paired with a very good portable DAC/amp, like the Dragonfly Cobalt, these Salnotes underperform. Ok, they’re twenty bucks, but in today’s IEMs msrket, you can do much better in this price range. My top choice would be the QHZ x HBBs. They punch way above their price tag of $20. Skip the Salnotes.

@@TheHonestAudiophile Oops, sorry! Very new to iems and audio stuff, just got my forst iem a few days ago. excuse me for messing up.
What I meant to ask is: is the stock tip worse quality than "normal" tips?
I have the kz zsn pro x, so I have some tips already. Is the stock tips worse than the stock tips from kz? Will using kz tips improve it?
As mentioned in the video, stocks sounded fine we're just uncomfortable. Tips are very subjective and you just have to play around with them. Try different brands and styles. Some stock tips work best and some don't. Everyone's ears are different.
Manufacturers try their best to pair tips that they believe sound the best.
I use Spinfit CP500 with them
I've had these for a while, tbh I'm not that impressed with the sound signature, it's kinda flat. Not to forget that it's too big for a comfortable fit
Totally understand. Thanks for the impressions.
Coming for blon 03, I'm torn between Salnotes Zero and Hzsound Heart Mirror, any thoughts please? Thanks
Could you please comment on blon bl03 vs 7hz salnotes zero after short testing and not from memory?
Need your recommendation before buying.
@@greensoulsGB no thanks
Would the Dunu Titan S be a good upgrade to these?
Yes, I believe that would be a good upgrade.
how does it compare to truthear hola ?
kz zs10 pro vs 7hz Salnotes Zero?
Will this fit in my ear? I think I have a medium sized, sticked out ears and a small ear canal
Only you'll know for sure. These are a bit odd shaped.
@@TheHonestAudiophile oh this will be my first IEM tho. As I've seen all IEMs being reviewed most of them are kinda big including the zero so I'm concerned if fit will be the issue. i used over ears headsets and airpods pro
Look forward to hearing your impressions.
@@TheHonestAudiophile lmao the earhooks are not for me. i had the put the cables under my ear for it to have a good seal. maybe this will remain the same for other IEMs or am I wrong? im really used to wearing bullet style earbuds
@@TheHonestAudiophile nvm, I just put the cables improperly, it actually fits alright with my ear!
Hello sir which one do you prafer trn ta1 or salnotes zero overall
I'd pick the the 7hz Salnotes Zero.
Here is a link to my TRN TA1 review: th-cam.com/video/lgdT4rwW7e4/w-d-xo.html
hope it won't let me down.
Look forward to hearing your impressions.
I just thinking if i buy 7Hz Zero. What's your opinion i wanna get some USB DAC: HiBy FC1 (if this cheap work propper(30$)), HiBy FC3 or FiiO KA1? (music on cheap smartphone)
the only dongle that you mention that I have heard is the Hiby FC3 and I highly recommend that one.
Thx you 😉
@@magarincho my pleasure, you're welcome
I dont know what to choose, Opera Factory OS1 Pro or this?
Opera Factory OS1 Pro is a dumpster fire in my opinion, not worth a review. I would take the Zero over it each and every time.
it doesnt seem like to be a choice though lol
Are these better than Blon bl03? (preference is soundstage)
The 7hz Zero has better bass control, less bloat but isn't as impactful; the mids aren't as forward but are more natural sounding and the treble isn't as shouty. Soundstage is slightly wider on the Blon but the 7hz has better detail retrieval and resolution.
@@TheHonestAudiophile Thanks sir, your response is appreciated.
I am not well aware of audiophile terms yet and trying to learn and understand.
Please confirm one last thing, I have Trn ST1 and AK6, they both have capsule like sound, can't differentiate b/w front and back sound sometimes.
Do Salnote zero and blon have round shape sound (equal LR and FB)?
@@odds9237 sorry havent heard ST1 or the AK6. The Zero has a more balanced sound than the Blon.
Here is a link to my terms and definitions.

How does this compare to Truthear Crinacle Zero my broski?
Man you’re awesome
Thank you
Hi dave, how do you compare it to blon 03?
Blon is more bassy but isn't as well controlled and defined. Mids have a little more body and are more forward on the Blon. Treble is about as peaky on the Blon, maybe slightly more. Detail retrieval and resolution are better on Zero. Blon has slightly wider and deeper stage.
@@TheHonestAudiophile thanks Dave

Does this cable fit into blon bl03?
Hi sir, asking a question what IEM would you recommend for hiphop music and recording purposes? Is the mic of zero Og sounds good too?
For recording, mixing and mastering, I recommend the JQ 4U Pro, SoftEars Studio 4, Westone Mach60.
For the price range of the Zero, I recommend the Tangzu Wan'er.
@@TheHonestAudiophile i already ordered the salnotes zero sir would that be also a good choice for hiphop music and recording? and according to chat gpt the mic of salnotes zero is better than the waner
@wendellpastolero2770 it will be adequate for those genres and purposes. The Wan'er is more natural sounding which is why I prefer it.
@@TheHonestAudiophile thank you for answering me sir
My pleasure, you're welcome
👍
I went to amazon to order these with the type c cable but idk if its because I ordered it without mic/type c pink. but it ended up shipping by the default package of the 3.5mm headphone jack brown cable. Purchased from Linsouls store & they are terrivle compared to my Dual DD dcmeka aO9 IEM
nice
I want playlist of the songs you test ur headphones... Ur channel is like that rare gems only few can find
See description for music link. Also my website has several write-ups.
Does it have mic ?
No it doesn't have an inline mic, you would have change the cable.
Linsoul + shipment 32 bucks=total 50+ and add tax what goverment will take away it comes 60 bucks for me...
Come on about the not finding something better built for similar price..the Chu is far superior in build quality and materials and fit and finish! Not commenting about sound or anything else.
Not for competitive gaming like pubg or bgmi...you can hear the medium distance footstep clearly but get confused by closed footsteps...It has been 1month and still i'm using it.. Frankly, speaking for normal uses you can but for competitive gaming I don't think so... Ordered the kz zs10 pro X...For music, better than chu but interms of clarity chu is far better specially for music like rape etc...
Music like what "ra-e"? Is that actually a thing. damn, I don't know what to say.
I bought these IEMs, and I do not really like them.
The cable is too short form me.
Am jus waiting for this :) this comment before watching
I feel like these 7hz zero is supa hyped by online community... All i can say, if anyone blon 03 , Chu Or Even CRA.. Don't board into this hype train.. Save your money and go 4 100 dollars plus iems :)
As a starter iems Zero is really good!
I got Chu bcoz it has a mic
Garbage disposal earphones I have these bass doesn't exist mid range is not up there treble has nothing
Laid back
