- I've always felt like an outcast. Having an outcast dog like Matilda wobble into my life has made me feel whole. Matilda has changed my life!

Good grief. What an incredible human being. Such an example of a real man. His vulnerability and honesty is so damn refreshing. I already know how he feels about his dogs! He feels the same way I do about mine. They aren’t just animals; they are family. They are PART OF ME! Lee Asher…If I had millions of dollars…this is where I’d send it. You and your babies deserve the most incredible life together.
Me too. I have two religious organizations I would give big money to. They are the real deal. I trust them both and you don't see them on TV. They are helping Christians all over the world and taking the "good news" all over the world.
Also, I would bless "Best Friends" animal sanctuary in Utah and now, "The Asher House."
I hope to see Lee Asher finish building his sanctuary and I would love to visit. I also hope I'm still around to see Lee find a great wife and life partner like Steve Irwin (The Crocodile Hunter) was blessed with.
You have done a great job WITH MATILDA. FROM SEEING HER HERE TO HER RUNNING AROUND LIKE SHE IS NORMAL IN HEALTH TODAY I DON'T KNOW HOW LONG YOU HAVE HAD HER. EVERY 6:37 TIME I SEE THE DOGS RUNNING ON THERE PATROLS I LOOK FOR MATILDA AND SHE HAS COME A LONG WAY.

I had a cat named Guy for 17 years. When I lost him the pain was really too much. I asked my Mom if she thought our pets went to heaven. She said “It wouldn’t be heaven without them.” Honey your babies are watching down on you and all their brothers and sisters 🙏🏻♥️

I have cerebral palsy. Life is incredibly hard, but I’m so grateful for the empathy and perspective it’s given me. Sometimes it’s the struggles that help you find your purpose. Matilda has found hers.
Side note: My parents used to call me a weeble wobble because weebles wobble but they don’t fall down.(and if they do, they get right back up)

I also have cp-spastic diplegia. I have heard this condition that Matilda has related to cp in the dog world.
My parents said the same thing about the weeble wobbles.
But even though life is incredibly hard, it's still worth living, right?!

OMGosh When you started to open the door and she 'wobbled' out towards you, the tears started. I had a stroke 7 months ago. I 'wobble'. I know how difficult mobility can be so from 49 seconds into the video, Matilda had my heart. Bless you for rescuing her and showing her all this love from the second you greeted her. You are a national treasure.
I had a stroke also (4 yrs ago) and lost my sense of balance to a certain degree. I stagger more than I wobble but I get where you are coming from. Matilda has such a sweet little face that I fell in love with her right away. I hope your recovery is going well. Getting sleep is sooooo important. Take care.

As someone with cerebellar ataxia, I know how scary the world can be. I fall over at least three times a day, if I close my eyes I just drop like a stone. I have the staggering gait and have to explain that I have a brain tumour, I’m not drunk. Watching Matilda is like seeing myself the way other people might do. She might be wobbly in someone else’s eyes, but to me she’s just dancing to a different tune. I have oscillopsia and nystagmus so my eyeballs shake, inanimate objects spin ( table tops to busses ) and I’ve got chronic vertigo; it’s like being drunk on a Ferris wheel that’s on top of a merry go round that’s on a ferry boat.
I will never be able to ride a horse again, ride a bike…I can’t even dance anymore. I used to do aerial hoops and pole dancing with inversions. That’s all gone. I can’t even dance on a flat surface. I went from being en pointe to having my wings clipped.
Tilda ( one of my favourite names ) has more confidence than I do. She’s not embarrassed if she stumbles and falls, she gets back up. If Miss Matilda can do it, I can do it too. I might not be graceful as I once was, but maybe I can make something beautiful out of all of this. I’m going to have to remember to ask myself, What would Tilda do? And then do that.
I wish you, the pack and Tilda all the love, joy and happiness in the world. I hope you dance like nobody’s watching, Tiny Dancer Tilda and maybe save a dance for me. 💕💕💕

This is a 50 tissue story! Lee didn't have to say one word to see the love light all around Tilda! She walks very well, I think. And she now has a permanent smile on her face. As a woman born with a dismorphed hip, going through many surgeries, and loving mom of an abused English bulldog I can only say, I've never met a man like this! Not many people sense the special meaning some dogs can have. My mom always told me, that God marks the souls he loves especially! And I felt loved although being disabled. This little beauty baby is also marked and has now a special Angel who is caring for her. Thank you for this video! I cried many tears of joy watching it. And thanks for restore my belief in at least one man on this earth has a heart and soul ❤

Lee, I’ve never shared this with anyone. My Grandfather told me, “what you think are your imperfections are what makes you perfect”. Your words reminded me of him right now, today is the anniversary of his passing. He was my world. Matilda is a gift, a wonder.. my heart melted completely, just seeing her. Thank you so much for loving this girl. I’m 70 years old and have the same condition as Matilda caused by mini strokes. Mine is not as bad as hers. It’s a loss of balance. It breaks my heart watching her walk, but warms my heart so much to watch you love on her. We all have defects, Lee. Some are visible, some are not. Your big heart more than makes up for any defect you feel you have. I love your channel.

I can’t help but smile a huge smile every time I see her in the videos. I have a Matilda of my own that I adopted from a rescue. I love her so much and I’m so grateful to the rescue that found her and took her in. She was skin and bones and had parvo. They didn’t think she would survive but she fought through it. I totally believe she was meant to be my dog. ❤
I’ve seen cats with this disability but this is the first lil pup I’ve seen with it. She couldn’t have been placed in the love and care of anyone better than Lee!!

I understand you totally! I´m a64 yrs old know, and old outcast, still an outcast in many ways but adapting and camouflaging, may be accepting that all my life, due to many and weird circumstances, made me like that . Now I start understanding that my differences may be a blessing to me or to others. I have 7 dogs and 7 cats, they all came to me in different ways and they are my canine/feline family along with my two human children. Being different is painful, you always feel like you don´t belong, you feel abandoned and fragile, and I think dogs can sense that. They think, this human has felt so much pain, he/she is like me, I can trust him/her. YOU ARE GREAT, YOU ARE DIFFERENT, and see how that DIFFERENCE creates love and understanding. Because you are SPECIAL and DIFFERENT you create a wonderful environment of love for the dogs, and through these happy dogs and your videos you communicate how sensitive you are. NEVER, never minimize these feelings!! YOU ARE GREAT and nobody can deny that! Keep working, many dogs and many people need you. I´m sending you a big bear hug from Spain.

One of my dogs who passed told the animal communicator that the dogs in heaven all gather around to hear him tell his stories of our life together, that they see as admirable. Even though we had a special bond, it makes me want to be an even better person.

I love Matilda! ❤ I watched one of your videos last night and spotted Matilda amongst the pack as you were introducing another new dog. I immediately fell in love with Matilda. I saw her and of course my first thought was, "I want her!" 😊 You're a man after my own heart. You're living the dream I've had all my life. It's also my mom's dream as well. I've always wanted to buy a big ranch so I could empty out all the animal shelters around me. Thank you for giving in to your HUGE heart. You can judge a person's character by their love, or lack of, for animals. I'm a huge lover of all animals. Stay strong and know how awesome you are. ❤️🙏❤️

Lee, little Matilda, makes me smile every time I see how happy she is out with the pack. I am in a wheelchair since 2017 from a stroke and walk like Matilda. Watching you with your pack ,has been a daily pleasure for me. Thanks , Lee for all you do for all your animals. Your love and compassion is absolutely heart warming. I only wish I could help you out by giving you money to help support your sanctuary, but unfortunately I live on a very small social security check which pay for the place we’re I live. Nadine you touched me with your story. In August of 2021, I had a severe heart attack, resulted in a triple bypass.
My sweet ShihTzu Lucy barked incessantly, wouldn't stop...Im not really sure where I was drifting, the world became black and white on one side of the room, my side. Her side was in color. I'm not sure how long I just stood beside the bed, it was just after midnight. Her barking snapped me back to the present moment. I will never forget her saving me that nite. I lost my sweet girl a week ago. I actually fell asleep, got up and went to the hospital in the morning...where they told me I was still actively having the heart attack. I had been surviving for approximately 10 hours with just enough blood flow to keep my major organs and heart, brain alive.
After the triple bypass, and healing, I am extremely lucky. I didn't have any side effects from the heart attack.
Nothing. It's amazing to know I had 3 arteries totally blocked and I'm still here, doing great. But what I wanted to say to you...I had to do an emergency retirement....I also live on a SS check. We may not be able to send money...but we can help get the message about Asher House out to the public, who can tell others. And we can offer words of encouragement to Lee and everyone that keeps the rescue thriving.

I feel so blessed to be a Foster Mom to an adorable dog from the Southern Oregon Humane Society in Medford. I have 3 little rescues of my own. They all get along and enjoy their new brother, Jake. I encourage anyone that might be interested in Fostering a dog or cat to give them a more"normal" home life.

No matter how many times I view this video - I always tear up at how much love and care you have for our furry friends. Matilda is such a beauty - I just want to drive up to OR this weekend in order to hug her and give her kisses....
