Did they change something in the last ten years? I remember trolls where the treasure is. There was a little creature saying "Go back" just before you got there, and I think that's gone too. The Enchanted Forest used to have more animals.
I just don't get it. The ride goes from no theme to a pirate theme to animals (and I think I saw Pinocchio) and then to signs about stealing pirate treasure. There is no coherent story. I couldn't see wasting time on this attraction, given how much better other parks have done log flumes. Splash Mountain comes to mind, but for smaller theme parks, Knott's Berry Farm's Log Jam is the standard bearer.
I will say. I agree on this comment. As I was seeing this, the one thing it lacked, was that sense of sound. At some point yes there was some ambient noise, like the crickets in that one section... But for the most part everything was just eye candy... When I'm on a ride definitely want all my senses to be tickled, that includes my hearing too lol. Beautiful Log Flume, will not deny that. Just think they need to add a little spice with some sound that connects with the over all ride
Man, the “theming” here is hysterical! I’m good with an enchanted forest, but why are there pirates? In a forest? And a couple of Easter Island statues? In a forest? And then what can only be described as the world’s longest shack. It’s all over the the map!

It's a very nice, casual, and relaxing ride.. until the drop at the end!! (even though it is not that bad of a drop!!) Going to rainbows end for the 3rd time tomorrow, so I am revisiting all of the rides the day prior!❣
This IS a really well themed log flume ride. In fact, the final drop seems to be the only area that falls a bit short. I expected the drop to be a bit, bigger. However, I love how they handled the levels, each time the ride climbed up. Even the final area didn't give off that 'floating flume' that detracts from the theming. VERY well done! The last time I was on a (flume) ride nicely themed like this was the splash boat ride at Busch Gardens Williamsburg called "Escape from Pompeii". It too, was very well themed and even had fire effects that you felt the heat from. Excellent ride! The final plunge was very rewarding too!
Thanks for watching! I agree, I think it's a pretty impressive ride considering it's at such a small, independent park. Escape from Pompeii looks awesome, those fire effects look scary! Would love to ride it someday.
@@ThemeParkOgre Yes, while I have been on dark rides with fire effects before, either they were done on a small scale or they were fake fire, like on Pirates of the Caribbean.
