Corydoras are so entertaining to watch. They are so busy swimming and wobbling going over the sand substrate and over every surface they are so cute. I have four in my tank and now it’s established I get so much enjoyment watching them. I plan to get a few more. My community tank is under stocked and has just types of tetras and rasboras and three swordtails. It’s very harmonious and very easy to take care of. I have got plenty of live plants in there too.
Fantastic idea! I am in the middle of building something similar. All Anubias and Bucephelandra with small clumps of fissidens. I am including lava rock and driftwood. I have pygmaeus cories for it and 4 pea puffers! I really like your channel so far. And you have a great sense of humor. Thanks for sharing!
Awesome result! I actually have a very similar tank, just larger - 250 liters. Fine sand bottom, some big round stones, a huge arch of driftwood absolutely covered by anubias. And a large herd of panda corydoras :)
Yes, it might get interesting when algae will show up :P But I'm keeping the light down, so I just have to see :) Thank you for your comment. All the best!
This is awesome! Can I ask what sand that is, as in grain size? I've just bought some "fine white quartz aquarium sand", which is about 0.1-0.7mm, but worried this maybe to fine as it may compact and stop the Cory's being able to sift naturally :(
Thank you! This sand is 1,2-1,8 mm. Yes, 0.1-0.7 might be a bit small. In general those very fine sands can cause problems with algae and dead spots in your substrate. It's because they are blocking the flow and there is no oxygen in there.
In the video it looks kind of like Carib sea torpedo Beach substrate. Anyway, I like the grain size and the color, it appears to be about 0.5 mm to 1.5?
They are such funny, little creatures. I love them. I've got 3 Venezuelan cories & they zoom all over the water column & play in the bubbler & are so friendly.
Today we are building new tank for Cory catfish! This time I'm going for Anubias only build, perfect for Panda Corydoras.
I loved this vid! ❤ I used this idea and also hid a treasure chest somewhere full of food so they can adventure! 😂
That's a great idea! I'm glad you liked it!
Cory looks so healthy ! Watching them is my pleasure
Thank you :) Yes, they are super fun :)
Wow, finally I found this video. I love this tank setup. Thank you so much
Glad you like it!
you'll often see cory's dash into shadows and areas with dark soil. They're somewhat more comfortable with black sand, even if white sand is prettier.

@@AquascapingCube thank you, I'll change my sand, I'm going to try and copy this Scape, thank you again
Lovely aquascape! Can you please tell me exactly Which substrate that is?
Thank you! It's just regular river sand :) I bought like 30kg online and I'm using it in many of my tanks.
In the video it looks kind of like Carib sea torpedo Beach substrate. Anyway, I like the grain size and the color, it appears to be about 0.5 mm to 1.5?
It was 1,2-1,8 mm, so a bit bigger.
