@@FishShopMatt Glad to hear 😂 to be honest Corydoras panda were my second option when i set up my Ram tank: i wanted red Venezuelan so bad because of MD videos of your fish and because they are venezuelan like the Rams, but apparently here in northern Italy they are rare
@@FishShopMatt yeah definetly, it also depends in the area where you live, for example if i drive 1 hour i'll be in Milan and there for sure there are Red Venezuelan but it's not worth
What’s better than Fish Shop Matt talking about Panda Corydoras while wearing a SpaceJam t-shirt? Not much. I ended up getting my panda corys after watching so many MD videos with Matt.
You’re amazing Matt! Thank you for your content once again! Would love to see like a top 10 species for a Angelfish community aquarium video in the future! Would be very popular i guess!🙏🏼
I'm so glad you started doing a channel. I was wondering when MD would influence you. You are quite a character on his show and I'm looking forward to more videos with you. Congratulations I hope you do well.
Love these informative videos! Thank you Matt 😀 I have peppered corydoras and bronze ❤️ good mix of long, short and high finned... constantly breeding and so fun to watch 🥰
I would love to learn more about Rosy Loaches! They seem like amazing nano loaches but there are very little informative videos about them out there. Thanks for another great video Matt!
My favourite Animal - Panda (I Blame Spider) My favourite Fish? Yeah you got it ❤️ I’m so happy you are making these videos Matt!!! There is definitely not enough Beautiful British voices talking about fish in detail on you tube. Hope you get the feedback you deserve because this spotlight is your!! P.s Thanks MD, your relationship makes me happy. And what it has created is so very needed!! Well I needed this anyway x
Every tropical tank we had growing up and every one i've had since has had a few corydoras in it. Almost exclusively the little albino ones. Such a delightful little fish just happily scooting around doing their own thing.
Thank you for doing this fish profile Matt 😊 just proved to me how little my local fish store knows about their fish (they told me that if they go to the top there must be an issue with water quality; even though I told them it wasn't very often and looked more as though they were playing when going to the surface. Then, they told me my 15gal tank run on a duel sponge filter wasn't enough for my 6 panda cories even though they were the only species in the tank plus it was planted... 🤔 Apparently 5 out of 6 dying within days of going into my tank was purely my fault.. claimed it was an ammonia spike despite me checking with API test kit and there was 0.) As an update I haven't lost any fish since I last commented asking if they were a sensitive species and I did treat the whole tank with melafix for a few day & they all seem to be absolutely fine now 😊
love corys. My peppered corys breed constantly in my community tank it does involve lots of water changes with the water being slightly colder and a daily feed of frozen blood worms plus BBS 3 times a week. Thanks Matt for video. Shout out from Sydney Australia 😀
love it mate, great information again. sharp substrate is so missed by many aquarists and a major stress on a lot of Cory species. Yes lets get into breeding set ups too
By far any and all Cory! If I get to clear this new space I will have Pandas again (Lat time was 85 so it's been a while) with Pigmy for the first time. Keep the info coming with these great videos. Sometime I hope for a behind the tanks of the shop vid. looking forward to the next vid. Thanks.
Perhaps your videos could include feeding amount for about 6 fish. That should give us an idea what we’re doing wrong. My otos have disappeared and I’m worried I’m not supplementing enough algae wafers.
I'm going to have to agree with all the comments about how refreshing and enjoyable it is to watch this. I'm gonna keep watching the rest of the videos, then snatch up my phone every time i get a notification, in hopes that it's Fish Shop Matt, with a new video. Or maybe that MD guy.lol Love it Matt...
I was without power and internet for 2 weeks! I just got caught! Another stellar installment! I love my bronze Corys. I've never seen pandas in shops near me yet.
One of my Corys spawned for the first time ever and I think I successfully got all the eggs into a predator-free nursery tank! 😃😁 Any tips? I've never done this before. 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼
Thanks for the info! A fish I'm interested in learning more about is the Agassizii Apisto. Thinking about having a pair in a community tank, though I concerned things could get tricky alongside Angels and tetras etc
brillent video again matt. found it funny as soon as u mentioned them doing the breaching thing, one of my albinos shot up and pinged off the bracing giving a distinctive thud :D there fine, they do it every now and then
That’s awesome to hear that they can handle 54F (12C). Hopefully they retain that cold hardiness, because I don’t plan on keeping mine with a heater. Update 1/27/24 I allowed mine to experience lows down to 60F at night , they are just fine and still eating/active. Summer highs were easily 75F+ and they were fine with that. Seasonal variation is something they can handle in my climate.
Here panda cories seem to be more expensive. Bronzes and albinos are cheap, peppers are a bit more expensive, and then species like pandas, sterbai, venezulians, various other spotted etc are all quite expensive. I would love pandas or sterbai but their price is a bit offputting for getting a decent number... but I would really like to get a smaller species than the bronze. Maybe a fish file on guppies and breeding them? Pretty common place fish but sometimes they can be a good one to cover. I recently got guppies and omg watching the babies grow up is awesome! So much fun! My first two (since added more girls to the collection) are panda guppies and I LOVE their beautiful markings!
I adopted 3 panda cory from someone who was leaving the hobby and now a little over a year later I have over 30 in my 75. They none stop breed for me. They are so fun to watch when there in groups like this
Make a video about Julii cories, please, Matt! Loved this one, I used to have Panda cories, and now I have Julii and would love to see your info about them!
Really wish the shop was in the US! I’m watching from Florida and I’m super jealous of all the cool wood, rocks and plants you guys are able to get. I feel like the supply chain here is finally catching back up but quality fish at the moment is hard to find. Keep up the videos it’s really good info I like to listen to while cleaning my tanks.
Landed on a nice shoal of 7 Sterbais a year and half ago they were quite shy at first in my 125G community tank. I added 6 albinos in and they really helped bring out the Sterbais! I’m almost certain I got this tip from you through a video of MD so thank you!
I just got 3 panda juveniles and 3 adult bandit corys. I had them separated, but once they were put together the babies started eating better and being more active. Although, the adults are now teaching them how to hide lol I heard they are from cooler waters and seem to be doing well at the range you mentioned. Glad I got that right!
I’d love to see one on the platys. I love md's platy tanks he’s done. It’s got me thinking of one of my own. 😂 the rocking back and forth was fine this time since the camera was still. Keep up the good content. We’re loving it.
