I’m a bit late to the party but wow I remember this I was working over at Market 32 when it hit and the Tornado actually formed between Woodward Road and Nichols which is right where I live
These storms were flying too. 65mph which is crazy fast for a tstorm around here. I was chasing on the VT/NH border and got this same storm prob an hour later. 60mph winds and our vehicle was struck by lightning. We had to ride the storm out with the windows stuck down cause everything was electronic and was fried. Video in my profile or whatever. This is a great video though showing those insane winds!

I've never even seen a tornado in real life. That last time one hit the town where I live, I was away.
I've never seen one either. We really don't get them in NY state, and if we do they're usually very weak like this one was.

my dad and i went outside and then we saw a funnel cloud starting to form so we were like “yeah no. back inside”
I was in this storm is Schenectady when it happened and I got pushed by the wind and drenched and saw a funnel cloud start to form

I live in Elmira, NY. We had a tornado watch that day, but all it did was rain.
