Really like how the 1983 topps are looking nicely centered.
I had a Mark McGwire rookie card back when I was a kid. I started collecting in 85. I wonder what other "rare" cards I had. Sadly they are all gone now
It would literally be a dream for me to open one of those boxes
It’s odd to see old cards like this in pristine shape. Great video Erik
That is one of the coolest things about doing this. It's pretty fun opening up a box that's 30 or 40 years old and knowing the cards inside haven't seen light in decades.
Jabs(1:01:04)..There is currently a Star Wars Series 3 box on Ebay for sale right now that has a 'Mildew' damage qualifier on the back sticker of a BBC certified box as you suggested in this video. On another note.....love the 1980's box breaks...hope you get a 1978 one too soon b/c I would love to see that as well!
My prime years collecting as a kid. Have all three sets. :)
Brings back the good ole days i found a bunch if 85 laying in an abandoned house n thought i hit the jackpot when i was 12 lol in 92
Love the breaks Jabs...
awesome rips, what a beautiful sight
39:47 😂🤣
RIP eardrums
Hershiser and Saberhagen were both HOF level talents, and both had the bad luck of injuries...that 1984 class of pitchers was ridiculously deep. Clemens, Gooden, those two guys, Rijo, I'm sure I'm leaving a few off that were quality.
Jimmy Key, John Franco, and Mark Langston for sure were rooks in 84. Possibly Ron Darling too. Want to say him and Doc Gooden were rookied together. That was an absolutely loaded class of pitching prospects.
That draft that year boasted Greg Maddux so that specific year just hit on pitchers.
Like these older packs!
Love the Darryl strawberry rookie card
Eric I signed up for a spot Monday for 1983-1985 Throwback Thursday I was the 22nd one from the list but didn’t get a notification.
Is there sny plsces to buy legitimate unopened boxes of early to mid 1980s baseball cards?
Enjoy your videos
16:53 Whitey Herzog is in the Hall of Fame too!
The day after the death of Tiger's pitcher,Willie Hernandez,I looked up his 80s Topps cards and I believe his 1984 card was being sold for $1,599.00
Nice
A= Awesome!! Nice
Glenn Hubbard 12:30
Psa 10 "altered" when it has the bibble gum mark?
At 18:55 you went right by Bobby Cox.
Realmuto had the most SB as a C last year with 9.
Do you still do mystery box Monday’s off of your patreon page because I’m not a patreon and I want to send you something but I want to see it in a vid
How many John Wathan cards did we find
Can't believe I missed getting in this break!!
Anyone interested in getting rid of the 1984 Topps base cards. I need a few to complete my set that I was collecting as a kid.
I'd be happy to trade :-)
@@sw1217 I will let you the cards I need
Just caught this video, a little slow to the party, but what I’ve known for some time is that wax transfer form the paper to the card is caused by heat. Weather from the attic or a heat gun/hair dryer. BBC blew this authentication.
Not sure what you're saying here. Are you saying this guy's unopened wax packs really weren't unopened?
18:12 it’s actually pronounced DE-near.
🤝☕🤘
I have collected since 1980 I need help and advice on how I can sell my entire collection I have about 20,000😮
Sleeve John Wathan
Can I get any of these sets in nc
They are called YakPaks because the jokes on you!
I don't understand what you mean by yakpacks.
You’re being demonetized for liking the Pirates.
If I took a shot every time you said hall of famer, I'd be dead from alcohol poisoning. Most of them aren't worth money or are really collectible because their HOF. Some yes, but it's not that important
More talk more opening lmao
I am sure this question has been asked but why are sports cards so hot.....peter a
Less talk more opening.
Be quiet.
@@thegoldentroll NO. You be quiet.
Agree
@@daron1967 Alright, I will!
That would be pretty boring as I listen while driving. I'm here for the banter.
Bidin sucks !
