Just a suggestion: what I noticed from having had an "everyday makeup" section is that I find it too convenient to pull from there and didn't find myself using much else. Until I moved all my everyday stuff back into the containers it belonged in. What I found is that if I have to reach in diff ones to pull something out I'm more likely to rotate the products. Great video though.

Hey Sara! You didn't say what you were doing with the items you decluttered, which is totally fine and it's obviously your choice. But I was wondering if you have heard of project beauty share? It's a organization that accepts donations of used makeup (and other things), sanitizes it, and then gives it to women in shelters. Just thought I would share because I love their mission!!
Yes, I have heard of them & am planning to donate the stuff that isn’t already expired 😊

Are we the same person?! I decluttered my makeup collection (which isn’t much) but I’m also trying to simplify life in general so I only kept the necessities

Hope your day is going well Sarah. Please don't toss away your contact lenses bring them to an eye place; they recycle them or donate them. I did the same thing too but my eye doctor said they will take them so I have been giving the ones that are old to them & the containers that hold the lens; those can be recycled too, just recently found out. I just keep a box and throw them in there and when it's full I bring them to my eye dr's place. Great job decluttering!! You are so brave for letting things go. I just like holding on to things I guess. However, I've been rotating my makeup so everything gets used and I've been good so far not to get any new ones. Looking forward to your next video! You did a great job! Do you put your contacts in at your vanity or in your bathroom?
I put them in at my vanity & take them out in my bathroom haha. I like to be able to sit down & be close to the mirror. I recently got them so I’m not a pro quite yet.
Next time you do a mascara clean out you can donate your clean wands to Wands for Wildlife. They use them to help clean animal's fur and feathers they rescue.

I love that Pretty Vulgar powder. I got it in a BoxyCharm a long time ago and have used the crap out of it. I also love the Kylie Bronzer in Tequila Tan! We have some similar products 😊My makeup collection is large like yours. I was thinking about doing a declutter video like this one because I need to go thru my collection badly. It was hard for sure. I used to want a huge collection of makeup, but now I just want to own things I actually use & love.

I need to do this badly I have way to much but it is so hard cuz I have a hard time getting rid of things I paid hard earned money on. I wish I had some friends who lives closer to me. I barely see my friends sincei had my third and final child.
My kids smashed my pixi santorini sunset and i have been devastated they dont have it anymore

This is just why I cant allow my self to buy loads .... I'm now using all the stuff that needs using up then I can dispose and start with other things that need using. They go out of date and it just puts me off. But I like to do variety looks so it's really hard not to buy stuff that only has 6month date on. Urgh x

The hoola light bronzer is great for super pale skintones but i found i liked the milk chocolate soleil matte bronzer from too faced better in terms of color. I am a very pale person and it worked great.
