Such a shame they stopped making the Alox Rambler. That to me is by far the greatest utility to size without the redundancy the MiniChamp has. I managed to mod a Rambler to swap the Cellidor scales to Titanium scales and I love it!
2:20 I use it a lot on the ship. If I need to tighten bolts, but I'm not sure witch key to bring from the workplace I use that to measure the bolt. I was sick of carrying too much keys 'just in case' or completely guessing wrong and going back and forth AGAIN.
there’s no such thing as a perfect Swiss Army Knife, but some get close… I think my perfect keychain knife would be a Rambler, with an additional “orange peeler” and flathead screwdriver, and perhaps swap the pen knife out for flat edge precision knife , too 👌
I too love the rambler. I get why everyone loves the ALOX but I do find the tooth pick & tweezers useful. The mini champ is just a way too big. But it is an awesome tool to throw in your edc bag. The original red version does come with the pressurised pen , tooth pick & tweezers
To me, a perfect minimal combo would be Bantam Alox + Rambler, but IRL I keep carrying Spartan + Rambler, although I have a Bantam Alox in the collection, as well as a Cadet 2020.
I wish they made a champ and not a minichamp. Love the tool choices, but that size is just worthless. I can't even cut an apple with that small of a blade. I want that orange peeler though.

I use the ruler to plant seeds in the garden mostly, and occasionally as an actual short ruler for marking wood.
The seed planting tip is great, I’ll have to give that a try!

I never use the toothpick or tweezers but I really like the victorinox pens! Super useful to have stashed away

With the Spartan each tool is absolutely useful. Nothing pointless.

Maybe, it would depend on how large the screw is I guess. The cuticle pusher is relatively thick and slightly curved
