Hey, great video, but there are two things I wanted to bring to your attention.
    1. You left coolant in the overflow. Also you didn't flush with water. If the new and old coolant are the same type, no big deal. If not they could react with each other and create a gel that could really cause problems. Best to flush with distilled water and make sure to flush the resivoir when switching coolant brands.
    2. You should check the oil again after letting it run for a minute. When you replace the filter, that area needs to be filled with oil again to get an accurate reading.

      Yes,, great vid, but -
      Constructive criticism:
      lose the background noise.
The subject & your narration of it is great! IMHO The addition of distracting, monotonous & annoying music ruined the vid.

Haha, I think it was just one guy who had a water pump bolt punch a hole in the engine case, like maybe the previous owner put it back in without a washer or something. Not a common issue as far as I've heard!

Changed my factory oil and filter at 600 miles. After that I change it every 1500 miles. No issues at all still has stok coolant in it.

If you want to get most the oil out you should also hold the clutch in, press your kill switch while pressing the starter for a few seconds.

You need to run it for about a minute to pump the oil around stop it let it sit for 5 mins and then re check. Mine took another couple of hundred mills.

Your CRF build is coming along nicely. Did the service manual require you to adjust the valves? Eric

Not yet, but will be checking them in the next 600 miles.

The motion pro oil change thingy saves the mess

True, but I'm too lazy to lean the bike on the floor first... and to pay for the tube, lol

Question, my OEM Honda Service Manual 2019-2023 CRF450L/RL calls for a 10-w30 viscosity. Any particular reason you chose 10-w40? Not trying to go down the proverbial rabbit hole, just wondering if I'm missing something...

No thought into it at all, it was simply what I had on hand.

Does the manual recommend a coolant flush at 600 miles?

No, just to inspect. I just wanted to for piece of mind, I saw a forum thread about someone with oil in the coolant so wanted to ensure that wasn't my case as well.
