You forgot the most common safety risk a maintenance guy will make: using your fingers to look for leaks... DO NOT do this because an oil leak spraying out of a small hole under pressure is like a water jet machine which can cut through steel plate...or your finger. Oil injection injury is very serious, it must always be assessed & treated in hospital without delay. Failure to do this can leave you with hydraulic injection necrosis, loss of fingers, limbs & life.
