Motorstorm Apocalypse was actually my favorite one, out of all of them. I like how everything was changing in front of you. It was a pain in the ass but it was fun as hell.
The original Motorstorm was the first PS3 experience that felt "next gen" to me- I loved the hell out of it, and I'm not a racing player whatsoever. Hard to believe it's "retro" now, but can't be denied. Excellent taste as always, John.
I still have a vivid memory of playing it for a few minutes at Sam's Club in 2006 or 07, being blown away by the mud and destruction physics. Nowadays it shows its age, but I still really enjoy it. Pacific Rift is still one of my favorite racing games ever.
I remember I had had a PSP for some time, and when I got an internet connection and ran to get a taste of what the ps store was, I saw the motorstorm demo. Some hours later I was stunned with what I saw running on that little machine. It was magical, and when I saw a PS3 trailer I was even more surprised that it looked "the same". Freaking magical times.
I don't classify it as retro, it's more like classic in my "-retro (PS2 and earlier eras); -classic (PS3 era); -last gen (PS4 era); -current gen (PS5 era)" classification system.
Great video John! Glad to see this series getting some much needed love. I really enjoyed pacific rift and wish we could get a re-release on modern platforms.

I think the narrator in the opening and the festival footage in the back ground 2 major factors of why this game had so much character. That’s why for me, Apocalypse was a let down.
What an awesome video, thanks for putting it together John! I worked at Evolution for about 15 years, from almost the beginning to right before it was acquired by Codemasters. I have a lot of memories tied up in these games, and it was great to hear your passion and feel the love for a series that is dear to my and many other peoples' hearts. Cheers!
Please if you have any contacts at sony what so ever please talk to them about doing a remaster package for the trilogy. These games should not die on PS3
Thank you for helping create one of my favorite games of all time. The Motorstorm franchise and perhaps the PS2 version of need for speed hot pursuit 2 are my two favorite racing games and are right up there with other classics like the legend of zelda ocarina of time. Again thank you.
9:55 Thank you so much for this. I've *never* understood why it's so earth shakingly loud, and it's only MotorStorm that seems to have that problem. MotorStorm is why I got a PS3. I was 7, at Target or something, and the store demo let you switch cars. Seeing the Patriot Surger (the Charger knockoff) for the first time, I was done. I needed it. I spent months pining for a PS3. I was such a dork, I'd watch TH-cam videos of the game with my PS2 controller in hand so I could pretend to play. That Christmas was great lol. We need a new game so badly. Edit: I should clarify that MotorStorm was the only game I *personally* experienced with that volume issue.
Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket Powered Battle Cars and one of the Yu-Gi-Oh games were insanely loud aswell. Destroyed my ears every time I went through my games :D
theres some games that do that, even worst than motorstorm 1. and then theres dragon ball raggin blast that all the fricking game is on 12/10 of volume.
Yes the Motorstorm series is great. Motorstorm pacific rift is still today one of the best racing games I've ever played. And the technology and graphics were just phenomenal back then. It seemed like perfection to me at the time. The Motorstorm series definitely had the potential to become an iteration series for any PlayStation console. A Motorstorm for the PS4, a new one for the PS5. Just like Mario Kart for Nintendo. You could have added new vehicles or routes with add-ons. Such a shame that Sony scrapped the series and the developer himself :(
I would love to see this series come back. A lot of the staff eventually ended up working on Dirt 5, and the mud physics in that are very impressive too, but it’s not really the same thing sadly. It does give me Motorstorm vibes from what I’ve seen but I don’t want to spend £60 on it.
I'm Russian and still remember my first time with PS3 and this game, it was a demo unit in a store in 2007. Our country was more about Xbox at that period of time, because of piracy, but everyone was so impressed by Motorstorm, gosh...
Now this is a game series that ABSOLUTELY deserves the 60fps remaster treatment on modern hardware, these games are so good. and now SOny all produce third person schlock these days with NO VARIETY, a Motorstorm Collection of all 5 games with DLC intact and online play re-enabled would be a hell of a variety proposition!
I would pay $60-$70 even at the drop of a hat for just a complete version of Pacific Rift on PS5. That game is basically perfection imo. But yeah the entire collection would be insane
OMG! I just told the very same to my friends! “Driveclub could have been the Forza for PS owners” what a missed opportunity from Sony. Great chapter as always.
The almost cryptic marketing before showing off actual gameplay convinced me it was open world racer like Forza. Idk how they managed to drop the ball on that one.
The thing I absolutely love about the first Motorstorm, and something that is largely absent from its sequels, particularly from the third game, is that the races play out like physics puzzles. Your primary job is to find a line, and control your speed, such that your wheels are on the ground when you need to adjust where you're going. It's a game that's mostly about managing your traction. In that way, it feels closer to games like BeamNG, or maybe even to Spintires, than to other off-road racing games. This kind of physics-based driving system is sadly quite diminished in modern games, and something I very much miss.
I agree with you, most newer games are quite unsatisfying to drive in the end. I like the Forza Horizon games for example, but it just does not hit as effectively. I was very pleasantly surprised with Gran Turismo 7 though ! The physics are truly remarkable and fun to play with ! Hit the curb and you'll feel your tires losing grip. Bumps on the road are really felt. It's quite amazing and fun to play around ! How I wish we had a new Motorstorm with such physics on new hardware... 50 opponents on a race track like they wanted originally would have been absolutely perfection.
Such a great explanation, but to add to that, it was also a puzzle game in not only managing traction, but figuring out the nuances of the vehicles and finding the fastest routes for each. You'd end up using all the different routes because one that works for a bike won't work with a truck for example, then on top of that, having to figure it out all over again depending on the opponents vehicles. Definitely wasn't such a thing after the original, PR had a bit but not to such an extent.
@@eznosnopes5276 The Dual Sense is great in GT7. I don't really pay attention to the road feeling through the controller, but changing gear is perfect !
I got Arctic Edge as a gift. I didn't know what to expect from it. But as soon as I saw that intro clip, I knew it will be the only game I'll be playing from that moment. I love everything about that game. I feel like the art direction was so well executed, thus bringing to life an unique aesthetic and world that can't get out of my mind. The tracklist was perfect, the "arctic" theme was such a good pick and the overall personality of the game is simply tying everything together. Conclusion: W Game
The destruction events in Apocalypse are some of the most impressive I've seen in a game yet. I'm guessing that they baked the physics simulations in to animations, much like Valve did for the impressive, large scale physics events that are present in HL2: Episode 2. But damn, the presentation is on an entirely different level with Apocalypse. The tornado in particualr always looked so damn believable to me. They PERFECTLY replicated that debris field with all the pieces of splintered wood and stuff being blown around. looks like it was pulled straight from one of those crazy tornado videos you can find online. Very visceral.
I love everything about MotorStorm series. I've played them all and it was an amazing experience back in the day. Series that definitely deserves a sequel.
This and Killzone 3 are why I bought a PS3. I remember when Apocalypse first released online was broken. Took them a month or so to fix it. Amazing MP once it was. Can't believe these two series are just collecting dust.
Borderlands and Dead Space is what pushed me to PS3 from being exclusively Nintendo Wii for many years. But Motorstorm is the first game I experienced on the PS3. it was playing on the kiosks at Best Buy when it was released.
My parents bought us the European 60GB BC model in march 2008. At the time it had been discontinued, so they had to go hunting for it. It came with three games. My dad chose Motorstorm, Ridge Racer 7 & F1 Championship Edition. I never really got into any of them, but I loved Motorstorm Apocalypse when I played it as part of PS Plus. Goodtimes!
The Motorstorm demo on PS3 was absolutely mind -blowing at the time. It was what ultimately sold me every game in the series. Nobody should underestimate the impact you can make on someone with a demo on console launch... especially if you can't get the game out on launch day.
I can relate. I remember going to Target and Walmart, hoping to get a chance to play the demo, since this was, outside of flash games, the only video games I ever played. I have yet to play the real deal, but I for sure had fun with the demo when it lasted, except all but one race with the superbike. The supercar, which looked like a viper, was always fun for me.
I never thought I'd be nostalgic for Motorstorm. Man time flies. I remember playing the demo of the first game and Pacific Rift and couldn't believe how gorgeous they looked
Pacific Rift was just perfect! Loved that game, still do actually. The first one was great but the variety of car models, tracks and multiplayer made the sequel so much better.
I love this series. You're the man, John. You have no idea how much entertainment you, Alex, Rich & Thomas provide us gamers on a weekly basis. The effort does not go unnoticed. I was obsessed with the Motorstorm series when I had a PS3 back in the day, specifically Pacific Rift. It was so far ahead of it's time.
DriveClub still has the most realistic weather effects that even the most modern titles can't reproduce. The feeling of "wetness" in the heavily clouded rainy environment blew my mind, it was so realistic.
This is a love letter to some of the greatest racing games ever to grace a console of all time. Thank you John for paying homage to my favorite stereoscopic 3D series and ultimately most realistic looking driving game (Driveclub) ever made. I look extremely forward to seeing a possible modern remake.
These guys are the best at describing the feel of a game.. I was explaing the motorstorm series to my gf and after watching this vid I'm astonished how much you guys talk about and mention all the details and explanations that I've explained for the phenomenon of motorstorm.. Like the music fitting the games perfectly and how the fov and driving feels off on the third installment.. Great stuff👍
The amount of passion and knowledge on show is here is incredible. Thank you so much for sharing this - I missed Motorstorm but loved Driveclub and really appreciated hearing your opinions on it again. Sound and editing is on point in this video too.
Just sad he doesn't show it off. Motorstorm Apocalypse has an original soundtrack that isn't copyright on TH-cam due to it not getting a record label release. Search for motorstorm Nosia to hear the amazing tracks the Dutch duo made. All 8 tracks are some of their abseloute est works and the neurofunk/hardcore drum and bass mixed with orchestral music from the composer who made the pirates of the Caribbean soundtrack is a genre mix I wish we had more off
1st gen ps3 game which I'm still finishing to this day, with the 2nd and 3rd to do after, it was and is huge in scope, even if viewed now, the devs have done such a good job, it plays and looks amazing with the psp artic version fantastic too, even better on ps vita Some load times maybe a little long on ps3 being the only "gripe" but the races are long and hectic I think something was special during the ps3 era, games seemed to be brilliant consistently, split second, Sega rally revo, midnight club la and Blur are memorable racers along with this Again a great video, so well made and presented Thanks guys
How can Sony leave MotorsStorm and Driveclub? Unbelievable. Driveclub was an incredible game, beautiful and with weather effects that no one has been able to beat until today, almost 10 years later. And Motorstorm, it was an original concept, and also fantastic. It could easily stand against Forza Horizon'.
It's probably évolution being so ahead of its time both with technology and gameplay that ended up being their demise. The games would becomes classics but not fully appreciated at launch. I love forza, but the lack of crashes makes the game feel slow and tame. The lack of assymetric tracks and routes makes it repetetive, and the child family friendly happy atmosphere makes it agonising to play for too long stretches of time because it doesn't respect your intelligence with loot boxes and annoying characters.
@@samuelhmff The weekly chores in forza doesnt help either. Instead of you the player doing what you want, youre forced into these super specific events that require 1 type of car each and requires a meeta tune. It takes all the freedom away in an open world game. Imagine if Motorstorms apocalypse weekly challenges were the main focus of the game, thats how annoying it is.
Driveclub was a disaster at launch if I remember correctly and that was after a year long delay...it was marketed for it revolutionary multiplayer racing and that was also broken at launch
I remember my first time on Rain God Mesa. When you're coming up to that big jump with the sun in your face and the light passing through the dust that the cars a kicking up and the shadows being cast in that dust was an amazing feeling.

Excellent video- so many fond memories of the original Motorstorm. The E3 prerenders for Killzone 2 and Motorstorm were definitely infamous! To say they had a lofty target with that fudged video, along with time constraints and lack of access to dev kits, they did an extremely solid job.
@@wile123456 But you can see in the video how good Pacific Rift looks with technically good emulation in 4k, with FPS boost and anti-aliasing. It just looks like a remaster to me. If Sony would bother to make a PS3 emulator, so many PS3 games today could look excellent on a PS5 without putting any development work into remasters.
@@Nerdlabor An emulator takes way more work than any remaster would. I recommend you look at the decade long work and money Microsoft put into OG xbox and 360 games working on Xbox one and series consoles, and that's not even talking about the legal nightmare of getting licenses for the games.
The PS3 era was incredible for technology in general. So many beautiful effects and techniques were developed at this time. Fantastic video, John - I'm not even the biggest racing fan, and this one got me pumped up. Great stuff!
I remember seeing Motorstorm on a demo PS3 in Currys back in 2007. Compared to the PS2 days it looked incredible, especially on the huge TV they had it running on. Felt like the future,
That's where I feel like we've lost something. Ps2 to Ps3 felt like a revolution, as, of course, did Xbox to Xbox 360. The leap was huge. Everything since has just felt like an incremental evolution.
Some corrections: With the patch enabled, the game no longer slows down, it uses hidden deltatime feature and allows for variable framerate meaning it won't slow down or speed up. It is separated for Motorstorm Pacific Rift due to a PPU accuracy issue.
What an amazing video John! Both informative and inspiring! I hope this inspires whomever to bring back Motorstorm for another party in the dirt, mud, snow, and ice. I'm a huge fan of the series too, and I especially like the underdog that is Artic Edge. The simple yet competent vehicle customization shop, as well as the ability to race with unique and wild vehicles such as snow cats, snow mobiles, and dump trucks, are 2 aspects that you don't really get in the other iterations. Love this DF Retro series. Thanks man.
I've been playing older PS first party titles and dear lord I miss these franchises. Sony has massively regressed in terms of variety. Motorstorm is an amazing arcade racer. Even the PSP/PS2 release is great. Sly Cooper is one of the greatest platformers series ever, especially Sly 2 which is an incredible stealth platformer that really stands toe to toe with the genre's best. Old school God of War was such a fun hack and slash. Modnation was vastly ahead of its time with online communities. And all those weird small games like that eco puzzle game.
John, you truly put together the best retrospectives on the internet. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. I’ve never even touched a Motorstorm game, and I was glued from start to finish.
Motorstorm Pacific Rift was in the bundle with my PS3 so it was my first game to play, and I still love it to this day. A true masterpiece. I have to give the RPCS3 version a try also.
Dude that game in 3D is bad ass, I love the Playstation TV, too bad it was very proned to failure, I wouldn't mind sony making a TV specifically made for Playstation gaming
Even with 3D gaming tanking the already not so great performance on many PS3 games, yes, 3D gaming offered at least a different gaming experience, and it's something I'd consider mandatory for some games, like Tron Evolution because the 3D effect fits perfectly with the virtual world of Tron. Racing and flying games are also fitting options for 3D imo
When you scrolled across the XMB only to be greeted by Motorstorm's thumbnail music absolutely DECIMATING your eardrums and shaking your room to its foundation, that took me back. Well done.
You obviously haven't played many launch games. When a game like Mario 64 is a launch game along with Zelda TP and BoTW along with games like Halo CE......yea no not even in the top 5 games released at launch. Probably not top 10 either
It's amazing how far DF Retro's come since its inception in terms of scope and production. This is a full-fledged documentary in its own right and a great way to showcase an interesting pocket of history in the industry.
9:50 Ah nostalgia... MotorStorm was one of the few PS3 demos I sunk hours into, which of course, led into the purchase of the full game. I sunk possibly hundreds of hours into it and had a great time playing. I also didn't even realize I purchased and/or claimed all of the games(excluding the portable titles) from the MotorStorm developers after the first in the franchise. Thank you for revisiting and delivering an awesome history piece.
So many interesting things I've learned about some of my favorite racing games, thanks to this video :D Thank you for this, it was a lot of fun to watch! Even though now I will just be sad again that Evolution Studios doesn't exist anymore and Driveclub won't get the deserved sequel. :p
I remember seeing PS3 gameplay for the first time at my uncle's house on a big projector. It was Motorstorm: Pacific Rift and the graphics and gameplay absolutely blew my mind. It really felt like the future.

How weird, I was literally talking to my GF yesterday about Motorstorm. How amazing it was, how it shouldn't have ever ended and that it's a perfect game to reboot, remake or remaster!! I really hope they do, there's barely any set piece racing games these days, Forza Horizon is the closest thing of quality
This brought back so many memories. The first MotorStorm was the first game I ever played on the PS3, and the PS3 was the first console I ever bought with my own money, being a teen at the time. Needless to say I have a lot of strong and positive feelings about this game. So nostalgic. Thank you for making this!
Or just a PS3 emulation. We can see in the video how great the emulation of pacific rift looks in 4k, with 60fps and anti-aliasing. Sony just needs to come up with a decent ps3 emulator for the PS5 and so many games could look great without putting the extra work into a remaster.
My favorite thing about the second and third game was that you could play them in 3D on a 3DTV. My LG C6 still supports this, so it's great to go back and play them in that mode, and the 3D looks incredible in those games!
John, load times on a real console can be cut almost in half if you install a SSD and custom firmware which allows installing games to the SSD. Motorstorm: Pacific Rift for me loads races between 10-16 seconds on my launch CECH-A12 PS3.
This video is remarkable, John. I hope some Motorstorm developers see it and feel some relief that their work is appreciated to this day. It really is!
Pacific Rift is my favorite of the bunch! Love the setting, the graphics, the gameplay, the music! I spent countless hours in online races, they were so much fun! I wish I could just jump back in, I miss the online so much. Still hoping for a Remaster or a Remake with a jungle setting and a festival theme!
Thank you for this amazing video John, it brought back so many good memories. Your eye for detail is incredible. I never thought anybody would notice the heat-haze mirage in Driveclub ;-)
Thank you for a great video, the hard work you put in is evident. The detail, quality, scale and that it remains entertaining throughout are really appreciated.🏁
Being like 11 at the time I first got to tough a ps3 controller at a EB Games Kiosk? While the worker tried convincing my mom why the 360 was better tech wise because of “Dual Layer DVD” while I was like “Blu Ray mops the floor with DVDs”. My mom instead opted to preorder a Wii for fitness games she never ended up even playing. $600 in Wii products vs a Super Computer I’d still use to this very day. Upset and over it by now I still never forget the first time I hit the X button trying to see how XMB worked then BOOM! Pendulum Slam plays as a video of Motor Storm played… That’s not the PS3 theme song to me from then on. I got into the game and tried my hardest to pause and rotate the camera to show my mom that this wasn’t the SEGA Genesis I had but a new thing in all. I tried my heart out there. She didn’t care. She wanted to get something for herself that she knew I’d play with….. I didn’t. I traded from Pokémon/YuGiOh cards and many other things for a friends 360 just to get a taste of that next Gen. My mom made me give it back and I only got half of what I traded. None of it was on the top half of the good stuff I gave. All the worst. Parents…. Love your kids. Don’t be selfish. The kids will become sneaky and go behind your back.
I’m so glad the PS3 bug has bitten John as well. I’ve been super into the console since 2021, when I went out and bought one. Been Collecting the games and different console variations since then and I love learning about the various oddities of the PS3 (especially the launch model) and it’s games. That Sony generation is so interesting to look back on from both a hardware and a software perspective because of just how eccentric the console was and the ways developers worked with it

Double Dragon Neon was insanely loud, too
Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket Powered Battle Cars and one of the Yu-Gi-Oh games were insanely loud aswell.
Such a shame that Sony scrapped the series and the developer himself :(
Yeah. Yeah. I cursed at whoever designed that logo sound in more than one ocassion.
Motorstorm 1 still holds up splendidly to this day. This and Wipeout deserve proper resurrections.
Wipeout Omega Collection wasn't released *too* long ago and it's pretty awesome. Would still love a ps5 game though
Sadly, both developer studios have been killed by Sony.
I would love to see this series come back. A lot of the staff eventually ended up working on Dirt 5, and the mud physics in that are very impressive too, but it’s not really the same thing sadly. It does give me Motorstorm vibes from what I’ve seen but I don’t want to spend £60 on it.
@@justanotheryoutubechannel Its not like motorstorm 1 sadly, its arcadish, absolutly mad easy, rail like controls and nothing much to it
@@DonTrentino What a shame, I hope the series gets a continuation even more.
Thank you for gracing us with one of the best gaming scenes on TH-cam.
I'm Russian and still remember my first time with PS3 and this game, it was a demo unit in a store in 2007. Our country was more about Xbox at that period of time, because of piracy, but everyone was so impressed by Motorstorm, gosh...
да были времена.

Driveclub is a arcade driver. So make it make sense.
@@mrpopo5097 They mean Forza Horizon
@@mrpopo5097 And Forza is a Sim? yeah, sure..
@@0uttaS1TE which is an open world driving game. Drive club ain’t open world.
@@Masarofia do you think the dual sense could aid in the experience?
@@eznosnopes5276 The Dual Sense is great in GT7. I don't really pay attention to the road feeling through the controller, but changing gear is perfect !
The death of Evolution is one of the biggest loss in the racing games industry, and sadly little amount of people even realize that.
Such an incredible video John! The PSP one holds a special place in my heart which I used to play on the commute to uni.
Arctic Edge was AMAZING!!!
Very Split/Second.

Goodtimes!
I love these John Linneman™documentaries. So much care, dedication and passion. Great work, John!
First game I booted up on my PS3 back in '07. Had endless fun with the physics, an area of game design that is sadly underutilized today in racers.
Physics have been forgotten about in most games. Control was the last game that wowed me with its physics.

@@123doomdoom GTA5 lost a significant asset by shedding GTA4's Euphoria ragdoll physics. It really made combat and mayhem so much more enjoyable.
I just popped these back into my PS3 recently after not playing for almost 10 years and these games are still insanely fun! Glad I found this video!
I remember 13-year-old me playing the demo for this in Target and being blown away

God, I miss this series. Pacific Rift was perfection.
Motorstorm came with my PS3 when I bought it on launch day, it looked incredible and we played the hell out of it.
9:56 I’m so glad the music sting got mentioned in this, that was such a part of my childhood
Just sad he doesn't show it off. Motorstorm Apocalypse has an original soundtrack that isn't copyright on TH-cam due to it not getting a record label release. Search for motorstorm Nosia to hear the amazing tracks the Dutch duo made. All 8 tracks are some of their abseloute est works and the neurofunk/hardcore drum and bass mixed with orchestral music from the composer who made the pirates of the Caribbean soundtrack is a genre mix I wish we had more off
1st gen ps3 game which I'm still finishing to this day, with the 2nd and 3rd to do after, it was and is huge in scope, even if viewed now, the devs have done such a good job, it plays and looks amazing with the psp artic version fantastic too, even better on ps vita
Some load times maybe a little long on ps3 being the only "gripe" but the races are long and hectic
I think something was special during the ps3 era, games seemed to be brilliant consistently, split second, Sega rally revo, midnight club la and Blur are memorable racers along with this
Again a great video, so well made and presented
Thanks guys
Love all the emulation comparisons in this DF Retro !
I really love Motorstorm. It is my favorite game and THE ONE videogame I wish to make a return.
@@wile123456 dude, I feeel the same. Love Forza Horizon 5, but couldnt play It for more than 3 weeks. Now I know why.

Excellent video- so many fond memories of the original Motorstorm. The E3 prerenders for Killzone 2 and Motorstorm were definitely infamous! To say they had a lofty target with that fudged video, along with time constraints and lack of access to dev kits, they did an extremely solid job.

It won't happen since the rights lie with Sony but the files are maybe at code masters or lost in some old archive somewhere.

It would be a dream if they make a remaster for the PS5. I played every single one of these games mentioned in this video.
Motorstorm always reminded me of the Jet Moto series on PS1. Sony abandoned that series in a very similar fashion to Motorstorm.

Dude that game in 3D is bad ass, I love the Playstation TV, too bad it was very proned to failure, I wouldn't mind sony making a TV specifically made for Playstation gaming
I miss 3d games.
I just got Apocalypse & some other 3D game off Amazon. I was trying to get Pacific Rift but they were all sold out.
When you scrolled across the XMB only to be greeted by Motorstorm's thumbnail music absolutely DECIMATING your eardrums and shaking your room to its foundation, that took me back. Well done.

Never thought I'd miss Motorstorm, but here we are! I'd love a PS5 port of these games one day
Or just a PS3 emulation. We can see in the video how great the emulation of pacific rift looks in 4k, with 60fps and anti-aliasing. Sony just needs to come up with a decent ps3 emulator for the PS5 and so many games could look great without putting the extra work into a remaster.
I wish but it's never going to happen 😪
My favorite thing about the second and third game was that you could play them in 3D on a 3DTV. My LG C6 still supports this, so it's great to go back and play them in that mode, and the 3D looks incredible in those games!

John, load times on a real console can be cut almost in half if you install a SSD and custom firmware which allows installing games to the SSD. Motorstorm: Pacific Rift for me loads races between 10-16 seconds on my launch CECH-A12 PS3.

Pendulum Slam plays as a video of Motor Storm played…
That’s not the PS3 theme song to me from then on.
