Hi guys, i still can hear that. Got the answer from local service that it’s normal in this class of monitors. Tried in different power sockets and even outside of my flat. Still the same
I have been considering getting a pair of KRK V6 for a couple of synthesizers and loop stations set up, but after seeing the reviews on these guys I'm not so sure. Would these be better than the V series for playing 3 or 4 synths live but also mixing and recording music?
Hello I have a question about the KRK G4 7 speakers. Buy two KRK G4 7 monitors and when it is turned on it emits a white background sound "ssssss", this wave sound is heard up to 1 meter. Unlike KRK G3 monitors, there is no such strong white noise. I need help and have an answer. Thank you
Hi Dave, I just bought 1 of these and am having trouble connecting it up to my numark dj controller which has an rca output. Is there a standard suggestion for connecting balanced and unbalanced ? I tried an xlr to rca cable and the sound was messed up
Is anyone else having trouble with the higher frequencies when using these monitors? I just bought a pair 5 minutes ago and I just plugged em up to listen to Tangerine by Led Zepplin and the guitar sounds whack asf. Anyone else know what the problem is?
Looking at speaker stands for these and the one I found is clearly made to put the speaker on its side. Do you see an issue with putting these on their side?
Doesn't really matter how powerful the speaker is. Watt doesn't equal spl.. Sensitivity is what matters. The higer the sensitivity is the less watt the speaker needs to product a certain level of spl. So 140w might be a lot of power yes.. But if the drivers have low sensitivity then they might not play very loud.. Thanks for the vid 🙂
Rich from KRK here. 110dB SPL. We don't do "marketing" SPL. They are "loud" but it is really about having headroom. With plenty of headroom you can get volume but be nowhere near the limit of the speaker and this helps you make better dynamic decisions, especially when mixing.

Triggers me to no end when a review starts with how Studio monitors have a 'neutral' sound compared to 'regular' speakers. If that were the case, they'd all sound EXACTLY the same, which is obviously not true. So, yes, they're colored, and the reviewer should tell us IN WHAT WAY. If these were "neutral", why would they make the 'V' series? That said, the KRK Rokit speakers are known for being rather colored and 'attractive' sounding (loudness curve). They sound like the sum of their parts, the drivers, crossover, box and the amps inside. Just like in audiophile/hi-fi world.

Do you need a subwoofer as well or will I be fine with just a pair of these KRKs?
I find the lower frequencies to be good enough without one.
Just bought those and I’m hearing some static noise coming from tweeters with only power cable connected. Is it normal behavior?
I did not have any static noise. Sounds like some sort of interference.

The KEF will sound more refined.
Hey there, quick (stupid) question. How do you connect these speakers to each other? I don't see an input to connect them... Thanks!
They do not connect to each other, they connect into an audio interface (needs to be purchased separately) and that in turn connects to your computer.
