As someone who bought the G6 360hz two weeks ago, Even though it's a 3rd gen Qd-Oled panel, It still have text colour fringing, It's not as bad compared to the 1st and 2nd gen, For the 27inch 1440p 360hz it's bright on the display bright setting it goes up to 50 on SDR mode, I have mine on 25 and it's good in a room with light coming in the room from a window, In the display settings for HDR on the G6 you can chose what mode you want in the peak brightness setter from "Off/ Medium/ High" Off is 250 nits, Medium is 400 nits, High is 1000nits, Though on windows 10/11 why would you need HDR even on at all unless you plan to watch a film in hdr10 or play a game that correctly displays HDR10, For general pc use don't not have HDR on, The metal build on the G6/8 is very good, However the worst bit is the external power supply, Not because that's a bad thing it's because of that stupid plastic shrink wrap around the power supply that was difficult to remove without scuffing the power supply unit, (My old Samsung 27inch 60hz 1440p monitor had a built-in power supply and I had to send it back to samsung in the UK for a repair in the 3rd year of owning it, Having an external power supply sometimes is a good thing because replacing an external power supply means you're not voiding the Warranty of your monitor by opening it up) If you need 32inch 4k get the G8 at 240hz, I only have the G6 because it's 27inch the 360hz isn't that important, Because oled has instant pixel response time a 240hz feels alot faster than an lcd that's an even faster refresh rate, What monitor is best for you is really your own personal choice, If you use photoshop for anything professional get the G8 it's 4k so more resolution the better really, If you want the best speed you can get at 1440p 360hz get the G6, On my G6 I can only use it at 1080p at 360hz because my GTX 1080TI does not support display stream compression, So it's 1440p at 240hz for my normal use, Hurry up nvidia and release the RTX 5000 cards at a reasonable price with decent performance at the end of the year that would be great,

is this better than the lg oled 32 “ monitor
Great looking monitor. But if it doesn’t have USB C, it’s not happening. I think LG has that locked down right now.
I think HDMI ARC is a better feature. It's made to be a smart monitor for gamers and general entertainment. However, USB C would be great for Macs and mobile devices.
@@lamjk10 I’d like to know why we can’t have both.
@rmetz2014 i believe the g8 34 inch oled as well as the m8 smart monitor has usb c. Probably there's a constraint on the pricing and they made a trade-off favoring gamers. I had a usb c monitor before. But I didn't miss it when I switched to a desktop pc and lg c3 monitor.
@@lamjk10 I’ll have to look into them. I have both a gaming pc and a Mac. I can sometimes plug in my iPad Pro as well so I need a monitor that does it all. I opted for the 38WN95C. I just wish I had an ARC otherwise it’s perfect
Anyone else proud of themselves for spotting at 2:40 the unblurred Sanyun... Just me? Ok then :(
The what
What is the name of the monitor ?
The link to the monitor is broken
Mousepad name please?
Is it G8 or G6 ?
Time to start to hide those cables completely! I do not put desks against a wall.
To not have a glare is the biggest thing for me.
why can't they focus on providing a good image? If I needed a smart monitor, I would just plug a chromecast to it.
Why you still use windows 10???
This thing is like if Apple actually took gaming seriously
- 32”
- 4K
- OLED
- 240fps
- 1,000 Nits
- 0.03 response time
- Thin metal frame
- AI upscaling for browsing
I wanna pair 3 of these things with an Intel Mac Pro
hey the average consumer where is the massive tech unboxing 59.0???
"it would look great in a dorm room" most people who are living in dorms can't afford this monitor 😭
I have this monitor as well as LG 45 inch OLED monitor
Is the screen on the samsung bad in terms of matte or is it not that noticeable
@@ryanbrowning5586 not to me due to being a dark room.
@jamestaylor954 do you think it takes away from picture quality at all?? The reason I'm asking is I got the 32" msi used off of amazon but thinking about returning for the samsung. The msi has a glossy screen and the picture quality is phenomenal. I just like the build of the samsung better
@@ryanbrowning5586 yea you will see a difference if you like glossy stick with what you have.
$1,299.99 ?!?!?!?! fuckkk noooo
Price not mentioned at all? Means, you can’t afford it.
I was sold until I saw 250 brightness. Why I cant ever switch off Apple displays. Brightness matters!
Just got this for 890 bucks out the door from Best Buy open box, I got a good deal.
Just got it for 540 open box today lol
250 is ok , on nightplay it hurt my eys ❤
Wow this monitor is nic-
(Eyeballs the $1299 price tag)
OUCH.
I'm just gonna say I like Samsung monitors hint hint give me one for free 😂
Cant trust a sponsored contemt
No, I heard this monitor is kinda mid just saying. Which ive seen the neo g7 32" and wasn't impressed which most likely this wont cut it either
Actually the better coating test. I’d like to see reviews do real life test and be honest. Not pre determined I hate or love it because our brains automatically respond that we hate it.. clearly this ain’t your average coating
Samsung is the best
Can you connect a PS5 to it?
En México se vendieron tan rápido qué la marca le subió 300 usd de jalón
Das the goat respond 🐐
If this was touchscreen too...🥵
Like it!
It has Freesync, not G sync
