    Brilliant! As usual. Please share similar content from the practices and perceptions of West African countries like Cameroon Nigeria Congo..... If possible. Also any guidance or reference on books on that subject would be greatly greatly appreciated 🙏🏾❤

      Thank you! I plan to go into more detail about West Africa, especially the Yoruba and Igbo systems, which will likely need their own video. I'll find a way to distill the information. I'm also working on the myth about the Orisa Ifa, that is its own video too, so bear with me.
      I've included some reference journal articles I used for this video, particularly regarding the San. Moving forward, I'll aim to add as many references as possible!
      It's always great to hear from you!

      Thank you. The music is a mix of African instrumentation (djembe, kora, ngoni, some vocals, etc) with synths and other instruments, fx, etc. It's the music I make. Check out more of it on the music playlists of this channel.

    Is it misfortune if you get good things bad things all things? Were my ancestors blameless? Y was i made to b removed from my creator to be put in the hand of ancestors? Y would they wan to teach me by wrath when i know so many other ways to learn?

    • @house_of_horus
      @house_of_horus  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Your questions reflect the curiosity of someone truly seeking wisdom, and the answers lie in understanding the deeper aspects of life and existence. The ideas of "good" and "bad" are not always straightforward; what seems like misfortune might be a necessary experience that shapes us, tests us, or helps us discover hidden strengths. In this way, good and bad are intertwined, and recognizing that not everything harmful at the moment is ultimately negative can bring peace and insight. This leads us to the nature of misfortune itself, which, when viewed from a broader perspective, becomes a tool for growth. These challenges, though difficult, disrupt our comfort and push us to seek deeper truths, fostering significant personal development.
      In understanding why the Creator might seem distant, we can consider that this distance is a gift, giving us the space to exercise free will and grow on our terms. The ancestors, who have lived before us, step in as guides, sharing their wisdom and experiences. It's not about being abandoned by the Creator, but rather about being allowed to learn from those who came before us. This idea naturally ties into why we often learn through hardship. Such challenges force us to face truths we might otherwise ignore, revealing things about ourselves and the world that comfort alone cannot. This method of teaching, though difficult, is not meant to be cruel, but to lead us toward deeper understanding. Ultimately, your questions show that you are on a path of seeking true knowledge, a journey that requires exploring the deeper layers of wisdom to find the clarity and understanding you seek.
      Keep asking.

    This is deap, but tell me something, what does it mean when you are claimed by spirits at birth??

    • @house_of_horus
      @house_of_horus  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

      Being claimed by spirits at birth means that, from the moment you were born, certain spirits or ancestors have chosen you for a special purpose. This belief is common in some cultures, especially in places like Nigeria and Ghana.
      When you're claimed by spirits, it usually means that you’re destined for a spiritual role, like becoming a healer, a spiritual leader, or a diviner. You might show certain signs early in life, like having unusual birth circumstances, displaying special abilities, or having vivid dreams. These signs are seen as the spirits' way of marking you for your unique path.
      As you grow, you’ll likely undergo training to learn how to communicate with the spirits, perform rituals, and help others. This role is important because you’ll serve as a bridge between the physical world and the spiritual realm, helping to guide and protect your community.
      In short, being claimed by spirits means you have a special connection and responsibility that’s recognized from the very beginning of your life.

    Are incense, scented oils, Gem stones (crystals ) used for & by diviners in Africa...?

    • @house_of_horus
      @house_of_horus  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes, incense and gemstones are used by some African diviners, though practices vary across regions. In Yoruba Ifa divination, incense is burned to purify the space and connect. Some Southern African Sangomas use gemstones and crystals in divination, often as part of a collection of the bones that are cast and interpreted.
