      I am really enjoying your channel. A lot of black folks have a hard time going out of their comfort zone, including myself sometimes. This is good way to show people, particularly our people that it's okay to try something new especially when it comes to living in a foreign country. 😊❤

      amy lui Yet many of us thrive and enjoy our lives in Japan despite the relatively mild hiccups (at least we won't get shot by police in this region of the world or certainly won't be thrown in an oven by authorities). Your comparison seems a bit off imho.
      Out of curiosity, what was the purpose of leaving this kind of response on a channel like this? Have you watched any of the vids on this channel and really listened to the interviewee's stories?
      I don't know the intention of your comment, but to me, it looks like you're just trying to stir the pot. Hopefully thst's not the case though.

    • @tsalon5864
      @tsalon5864 6 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      amy lui Your comment is totally misguided. What exactly have black people done to Asians for Asians to dislike black people MORE than anyone else? Dropped nuclear bombs on them? Committed war crimes like in Nanking? Seems you would be more effective telling the Asians who may have bad thoughts about someone who has never done anything to them than telling someone innocent that they have no right to go ANYWHERE they want to go.

    • @erad67
      @erad67 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @amy lui Maybe it's different in other parts of Asia, but I've lived in Japan over 10 years and never heard a single negative comment by a Japanese person about black people, but I've heard many good comments made.

    inner city Chicago is something else I am glad he is out of there, he does not have to worry about getting killed for no reason, don't have to worry about getting mugged,break ins, roughed up by cops,racism,etc. He is safe and has a piece of mind.

      you're not going to get support just leave. not to make it sound negative but research before you go. plan before you go. you'll be alright. just try to land with a job and some pocket change that will carry you 3-5 months. +return ticket money just in case.

    I am glad to know our country's unique feature (History or Style) could be some help for somebody, who had some frustration and need some place to be released.
    Anyway Japan had been a isolated far east tiny island and no serious conflict took place about racial discrimination

    I lived in Tokyo for 18 years and one could find anything you wanted food wise as long as you were willing to pay. I used to buy real cherry smoked bacon which is better than anything I can find here in the USA. I spent significant time in the countryside and I smoked my own bacon since, like here, the supermarket bacon isn’t up to par.
