Bali time now! | Indonesia | Sixty and Travelling
For the last one year, we have been travelling to several States and Union Territories in India. So we decided to venture out again and travel to the world famous Bali island in Indonesia.
Bali, a province in Indonesia is a well known island resort. We started out from IGI Airport in New Delhi, India. A five hour flight with Vietjet Air took us to Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam. There, after a lay over of almost two hours, we took our second flight of around 4 hours before reaching Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali, also known as Denpasar Airport. Incidentally Denpasar is the capital of Bali.
After completion of arrival formalities, we set out for our hotel resort, Ramayana about 30 minutes drive from airport. It was an exotic, nicely laid out resort with all facilities and a Spa. The marketplace was nearby which added to the attraction of the place. Even the famous Kuta beach was just five minutes walk away.
It was a really tempting introduction to the world famous island resort, Bali. Going forward, in this Bali series, we are going to take you to several super exciting destinations in Bali.

For Indian national, there is visa on arrival on payment of USD 35 per person.
Besides, we had to show our Covid vaccine certificates at IGI Delhi airport.
