Very accurate video! I had a 2017 A4 allroad. I really enjoyed the car, but unfortunately as it started to age, it had a lot of the same issues you mentioned. I had to replace the water pump, then the coolant line and reservoir, motor mounts started leaking, passenger seat controls stop working and finally it started having turbo issues all before the car had 60,000 miles on it.

Basically, all turbo engines had the same reliability issues in the earlier years but got improved in the recent years (like after 2016/17). Even Honda's turbo engines after their 2018 models had the same issues that crashed Honda's reliability ranking from top to bottom. But they are a lot better now.

I dislike the place of the cupholder and the armrest is lacking adequate storage space. The B&O sound system packs a punch. Bluetooth connectivity is really fast. Overall I like the car so far!

Still enjoying my 2017 A4 quattro with 85k miles. Replaced the water pump or thermostat, don't remember exactly, due to leaking at 50k miles for 300usd in total (don't know how much it would cost in the US). This is a common issue, AFAIK. The rests were pretty minor and were fixed for free during warranty (one door handle lighting and s-line trim's illumination stopped working). The great all-rounder, moderate maintenance costs. I am not going to change it for another ICE car.

We looked at the A4. It is amazing. The fit and finish are a tremendous accomplishment. While we could initially afford this car we soon realized the maintenance and repair cost would probably bankrupt us. So it was a Japanese made car. I pay $89 for a simple oil change. The Audi is about double for the same service. Insurance cost didn't help either.

mild-hibrids seem unnecessary but it is beacuse of EU regulations to lower harmful emission rates on cars across the manufacturers board. I guess it doesn't make sense to make a different model just for the US market. (from the video my take is that audi bring only higher equipped models as standard compared to the EU market anyway)
