Eric have you thrown any of the new tour series Nukes? Just curious how it compares. Love watching you and Jerm throw these and will have to check one out! Also nice finish at worlds dawg! Keep grinding
I started playing again, always had a few discs but my back had stopped me from playing before... probably stopped a little after the destroyer first came out. But feel things have changed a lot but def need a wraith Boss and a destroyer in my bag again
@@darkfafnir4389 lmfao new destroyers are not what you were used to btw. wraiths are decently similar and Jerms tour series boss is nasty, you should def get one!
The unique thing about the Innova design for distance drivers is that instead of following an even dome or smoothing out at the edge like most brands, discs like the Boss, Destroyer and Wraith have a downward curve towards the edge of the rim that I believe changes the properties of the lifting surface. Given that the rear airflow brings a lot of lift to the disc, having a more downward curve at the edge is going to let the disc generate more lift while displacing the same amount of air. For pros who can push through the extra drag this effect creates, the distance gains can be quite evident. I do think that the effect of DDs dropping on big flex lines has more to do with discs stalling out or being too new to have enough glide to push through that flight, because all my super-beat rippers across multiple brands have the same lifting effect when they flatten out of a flex.
Speaking of speed 13. Latitude 64 Royal Rive has been surprisingly good! Not absolute beef cake out of the box and getting some actual good distance is really nice.
Not being a goof..but your game would def go up if you had some better shoes instead of flat shoe I saw in your videos..just a suggestion not taking crap
@@darkfafnir4389 I see so many people slip on perfectly fine tee pads because of just a little sand or dirt. But then, I play in Birkenstocks, so what do I know.
I have a bottom stamped Star boss that’s an absolute meathook. I’ve tried all kinds of other 13 speed discs in varieties of plastics and still haven’t found anything as beefy as that boss.
@@gregorypalamara6723 I don’t think it’s that lol. I did find this boss left in a field at a public park, so maybe someone before me experienced the same with that disc and didn’t want it anymore.
I like Jerm and I like Eric :) I may buy one just to support Jerm. I think i'm still in the shryke driver zone though. Not sure what changes i can make to get out past 400 feet(how to throw harder haha)
Your arm speed and step up approach really matters when trying to get to your max distance. Has a lot to do with the transfer of energy from your back foot to the hips and up
Love wide rim discs. Not a fan of the dome but the dome on this disc looks like a chopped off pyramid. Be cool to see how it flys compared to the discmaina Majesty.
Welp I’ll be buying one… or 5 Halo Bosses. Not sure if you take requests, but I’d love to see Drew Gibson sell you on the Finish Line Era. My personal favorite disc this year that’s flown under the radar for a lot of players.
JERM, I absolutely LOVE you"re new tour series boss. I haven"t thrown my boss's in years due to them being OOP and worth money, not worth losing hah. first throw i flicked about 370'. was perfect. feels amazeballs!! can flex it or flip it straight....just nasty man.
I really enjoyed the Fierce and Captain's Raptor episodes, but this one wasn't convincing at all, even though I like Jerm. Felt too obviously like a commercial. The camera didn't quite catch the disc enough, either.
I like the champion boss (the one with 0 turn) a lot. Almost mandatory to throw it in an annie. Thing will turn over even in the highest of winds. First time I got the Champ boss I couldn't throw it for crap (I'm only a year into the sport). But learning to throw it annie bh and hyzer sidearm has really helped me get the intended shot with this disc almost every time.
It’s a great forehand disc for me. Handles the torque nicely with a consistent, dependable finish. Backhand, not so great for me. I don’t have the arm speed needed on my BH to keep it from dumping after about 300’
The audio on this video is awful on the TV but is good on my phone. On my tv I had to turn it up, other videos I didn’t have to do that. Just helping guys.
I mean I get it, your out here trying to hustle your discs so you can get paid, and I'm not mad because that's how your puting food on the tagble and gas in the tank. However.... I can easily see that no one should bother with this one unless you can throw 450ft.
with the kind of gail-force tailwinds you guys are throwing with for these bogus distance records, you can probably get those distances with a hankerchief, or a paper-plate. it's not something that would make me want to spend $20 on a plastic plate.
I got mine. It replaced my rive. Way easier to put anny on it and when you turn it to much it corrects and skips forever if you put a good throw on it. I threw it 100 feet shanked it got flat before it hit the ground and skipped 200 ft no joke. People afraid of it will be surprised. Can’t wait to dial it in.
I put a Halo Boss in the bag to try FH and parked a 388 ft hole by basing the pole 1st round with it. These aren't as stable as the champion Feldberg boss's I use to bag. For most ppl it will be similar to destroyer distance wise, but gets more left to right movement and more ground play. The Boss is just better than the Nuke.
Would love a late year in the bag so we can see how things changed from the start of the year to now. And what's good enough to make the bag...
Definitely down to do that! I’ll do a seasons end ITB for sure.
love it
Second this!
Shoutout to my teerex throwers
This is how Big Jerm makes up for being so quiet in the Captain's Raptor video...He gets back to back videos!
The emcee/DJ from “That Thing You Do”
Love these videos. Keep them up Eric, I'll keep watching.
just wondering how long has a Big Jerm also had a boss as well with his name on it?
if i am not mistaken I have a boss but it is a 12 speed. But it is an older disc
it had a shallow rim
And I love your run up😂😂☠️ it's like you do a lil cha cha on the way to throw the disc😂😂🤌
The sound of that coming out the hand is just nuts
Always love hearing a snap sound 😂
It is the sound of the fingers hitting the palm of the hand upon release. Although satisfying it means nothing.
@@bigthings1477 yea that's called a snap... 😂
@@bigthings1477 definitely isnt everything but is a good sign of getting good spin on the disc by it ripping out of the hand
Eric's videos are so good. Another winner right here. Great content!
It would be cool to see one of these videos on the Garrett Gurthie sonic.
Jerm is a bloody CRUSHER!

Rive is a glidie straight shooter for sure
That ace at the end was nuts🤯
Yeah I was just about to skip ahead to the next video but got a special treat for waiting 5s more. 😊
Thanks Whales. I loved it. Great review!!
I'll say this: I'm glad they exist so I can see Jerm or AB throw em.
I somehow missed the change in sponsor. I hope you are feeling comfy with a mixed bag. I think world's would say you are. Lol
You sold me, I just ordered one directly from Innova ( good price) I have decent arm speed and I love throwing flat hyzer shots! Great video!!!

“The Vicksburg in Pittsburg!” That Thing You Do all the way!
Ordered a few yesterday can’t wait to try em !
Every person 13 speed lmao
And if you look at the rim width, it should really be a 15 speed
I have one any it is overstable and is great for making 90 degree corners :)
This disc only works if you have fast arm speed hence the 13 speed flight numbers
subtitles: "It's really good for distance and going fart..." perfect!
it almost inspires a new disc rating for ground energy, boss is amazing but you do need to play for the livelier action on the ground
No way I can throw this thing past 200 feet.
Hahahaha. Right
To them, all this “versatility” means over stable to us. Lol. But play with it long enough it’ll be usable hopefully.

Long story short. Lav mics please 🥺
Did you throw this at worlds?
We missed out on swirly wraiths?!

Waaaaaaaay too much disc for a majority of us. Cool stamp though!
I found a beat-up Boss last year and it's STILL a meathook for me. Then again, I haven't ever found a Destroyer that I like, either.
Thats from "THAT THING YOU DO"!!!
the credit scene lol
