@@brian6speed Ricky said the best part of going to DD/returning to Trilogy was that he can just pick up a disc and know how it will fly instead of hunting for a ten year old run of Destroyers
This is my favorite episode Eric. Thank you so much for bringing Calvin my favorite player. still think your serie with pro and their disc is an amazing idea man.
I'd like to see the Falcor with Leiviska! That'd be awesome. Appreciate the content as always. I was googling about the stability of these versus last year so it's always great to hear Calvin's take on them.
I throw a blue one. I’m rly liking it. Forehand I can get some rly nice flights on it. And with my slower backhand I rip on it all I want and it’ll fight back for me.
I just found a black rim one at 1 of my locals with no name, no number and no one around. It is very beefy and I'm going to push myself to show it justice. My main Destroyer is a Champ that is slightly understable.
I totally agree, but surprisingly Innova has been pretty consistent with Halo Destroyers. Color defines the mould they have used. That white/pink is very close to 2021 series. I wish they would have thrown black/pink in this video. Those have a massive dome. The domiest of 2022 Heimburg Destroyers. Discs that I have seen were consistent within the same color. It is easy to buy different color to find different flight. It is another question that should discs with different moulds be all called Destroyers since those are different discs.
@@user-rn8sy7kj1h It is known that Innova has used different moulds in discs and e.g. in Destroyers. Vulcan tops, Wraith tops etc. Bottom parts from different discs as well. That is how they get different parting lines and flights. A bit unfair for consumers to call them all Destroyers. A bit like calling all berries strawberries and you never know if you get a blackberry, blueberry or strawberry. Nightmare to order those from online shops, because you never know what mould you get. At least they all are overstable.
Its never covered enough that if the average rec player (rt hand backhand) threw these, they'd dump left and hyzer to vertical within 150 ft, haha. I know these guys need to sell discs, but there needs to be some acknowledgement that if you don't throw 550+ ft , these discs will not flip up, turn over and glide.
I throw 360, top out at 400, and I can get a turning full flight out of a Destroyer. Of course since Innova is so comically inconsistent, 4 destroyers from the same run will all fly radically different.
I got a Halo Calvin Destroyer and a Double G Wraith last year, and I'm terrified of those discs. The Calvin Destroyer *might* be throwable in 5 years if use it in the woods to get around corners & treat it as a mid until then. Hearing a lot about Halo Polecats, maybe that's more my speed...
U dont need massive arm speed to turn these over. If you can consistently throw 300 feet then you can work this disc you just have to have the touch for it
It's hilarious watching a batch of brand new Destroyers all flying radically different. Anytime my buddy asks why I throw Trilogy I can just send him this video now. The Destroyer: If you buy six of them, one might fly the way you want it to.
Eric, after watching you and Calvin throw backhand, I noticed you don’t use your off arm (left) at all. You still crush, but I think you have at least another 50-75 feet of potential. JMO, but you are the pro and I’m just a Joe… Love the content, Take care.
@@brian6speed true. Probably a firebird or raptor for the wind and a nuke for flare skips. Unless you throw 500'+. Only real plus I see is halo plastic lasts FOREVER.

I feel your losing 40ft, your start down the runway, is at a way faster pace, than your liftoff footwork. Eric's and Vinnie's backhand styles: so signature!

The fact that Calvin can turn these over is ridiculous
Just saw the first throw, it's outrageous
We’re out here is to get Birdies Erich. I love it. That’s right.
Love hearing about the color differences, I have one and just picked which I liked the best without knowing stability differences in color.

Can innova not make two discs come out of the same mold the same?
