i appreciated the player character to do anything at all in a cutszene. usually i think "im a ninja, i could just teleport there and knife him", or "im a WHM, easy benediction and go". but since the player can be any race or job we usually just stand there or run at most. The same reason why the Monster Hunter MC doesnt use his weapon in cutszenes.
Try playing as a lalafell white mage, oh you are diseased injured dead......Not my problem. The Game is completely different, It's not I am powerless to help as a dragoon beyond the potion and phoenix down i have, it's literally I choose not to help.
@@gisaki69 they canonically sacrificed several civilizations worth of people to seal voidsent they couldn't control. Multiple times. If their hearts are big its only as big as a dragons hearth
I didnt even take the time to consider, that this cutscene had to be done with Lalafell and like they didnt think to create a special animation for them? Yohshi P plays as one and he wasnt like "wwwwwwwwww little lalafell punchu tiny"
yea i think i remember yoshi p saying in an interview that they remade this scene for every race for the size differences, like in 0:06 their firsts make contact and zenos is crouched lower down for lalafell than other races.

I can imagine what looks like in those now. 😅 Body switching cutscene is so awkward for females races, I can only imagine what it’s like for a lalal. 😂
