If the bottle is left open for an extended period of time or if the strips have been exposed to excess humidity or extreme temperatures, they may no longer work properly.
It is not recommended; however, I have heard of people using them once expired. Keep in mind the test strips may not be as accurate after the expiration date.

The USB connector is not for providing power to the meter, it used to download results to a computer. You can contact customer service if you would like to get the compatible software.

It sounds like you are getting an error code, be certain you are using the correct test strips, that they are not expired or have been stored improperly and sometimes constant error codes may mean it's time to replace the battery.

Will it work without chips which I lost
The ACCU-CHEK Active meter I have does not require a chip.
The older version does. You can buy test strips with a chip.

It is usually recommended to test 2 hours after a meal.

The blood is applied to the center of the green area on test strip and uses 1 to 2 microliters of blood ( a good-sized drop).
Use of small drop on the green area! You may watch the demo video again.

That’s not accu check ..it’s onetouch ..it means there is a problem with the machine system..repeat the test ..make sure you do it properly

They are not adjustable, it shows on the back of the meter which units it measures in.
I am using the machine after more than 3 months , inspite of putting new battery, there is no display of blood drop when new strip is inserted.

Setting the year is very difficult..its showing 2029 and can't reduce it to 2024

It is recommended to use a new lancet each time for comfort and to reduce chance of infection, however some people do use them more than once.
