Mam ek confusion hai help me...
Mere glucometer mai Blue Green Red symbols respectively diye gaye hai sabse upar blue hai bech mai green aur sabse niche red. Normal reading tho samaj mai aati hai, magar blue kiya indicate karta hai aur red kiya indicate karta hai...?? Mere papa ka blood sugar high hai aur unko blue mai aah raha hai up to 200. Colour ke hisaab se tho blue ka matalab low hona chahiye tha aur red ka high.
Maam finger pricking with a lancet is it invasive or non invasive method
And do i need a docter or nurse alongside
And would it be correct to say that we can use this device for screening and not diagnostic purpose although accuracy is of. 95percent
I am asking dis because i am doing a research on diabetes and as i am student am i qualified to use it or do i need to attend certificated workshop

Initially dis machine glucometer was under cosmetic section and therefore accuracy standard was minimum 80percent but since 2018 or 2019 govt increased it standard to 95% and it now falls under food and drug category
WHO and Health ministry of india so not have any guidelines i have checked
For better accuracy you have to use serum which includes pathology lab test and also
You can perform
HBA1c test which give accumulated result of past 3 month

OGTT

10 Lancets are given with the pack, but after they get over you will have to buy them.

mam in amazon there are two types of accu glucometer-1.instant,2.active,which one is better as both are free from coding
the instant one is faster than active
the active version has a larger LCD display
instant stores 720 readings
active stores 500 readings
if you ask me.... both are same and gets the work done.

mam,after using it we have to remove battery from digital monitor?
Rahul Parashar ji, if you are regularly using it , then no need to remove the batteries, but if you are not going to use it for more than 6 months, then it will be safer to remove the batteries to avoid battery leak.
