Thanks for this. My new Softclix wasn't poking me at all at a 2 so I thought I was doing something wrong. Turns out quality control on these is bad and I just had to crank it up to a 4 to get the job done.
The Accu-Chek Softclix is a dangerous bio-weapon. The lancet ejection/disposal procedure is liken to ejecting a contaminated dart at anyone around you ! You should use the twisted off lancet top cap to cover the tip of the lancet before ejecting. Accu-Chek shows that you need to eject the lancet into a "Sharps Container" like no one has that at home !
@@RavenMoonChild00 Yes, I already knew that, but the manufacturer never mentioned it ! We live a dumb and ignorant society ...everyone is very dumb and very, very stupid !
👍 Good job. Actually using the device is a plus. I've been lancing the pad of my finger for years, no more. I've been thinking of getting the accu-chek fastclix lancing device. Reckon I'll pull the trigger.
I've just started using the accu-chek. On my old ultra2 blood monitor, I used to be able to get blood drops easily. Mostly I used finger 4 (left hand) and pinky (also left hand). I just tried using my middle finger left hand, and got the required blood drop, which was great. But on my old two fingers (4 and pinky left hand) I was unable to draw blood. I am using blood depth 3. Could it be that the skin on finger 4 and the pinky has gotten hard and the needle will not penetrate?
The manufacturer wants it to be single use and indeed then the needle is top sharp, but I used it six times or more but then it hurts more because the needle is less sharp,

Great video on these devices! Best instructions I’ve seen to date! Thank you again!
Excellent demonstration! Well done.👍😊
Excellent video, as a new user I found the instructions that came with the kit very complicated.

Should buy one, its helpful and hygienic
Very dangerous. It can destroy whole world hahaha
I learned I can control how fast and for it ejects afterwards I use the plastic cap from the new lancet to cover the sharp part of the old lancet.

Thank you for the demonstration. I have the FastClix, but I was curious about the differences between these two.

Very clear thanks
my lancet drum literally doesn’t go all the way down it clicks but it’s not as far as yours
Mine too...i can't get it in!😢
Thank you!
I have the softclix lancet and I set it up exactly as you demonstrated and it still is not pricking my finger at all? What do I do
Return it
Very helpful and detailed explanation
Which one is less painful?
This is my question!!
How to change units in ACCucheck guide me /
Does the fastclix drum come with all 6 needles preloaded? Or do we have to load all 6 individually?
For what im looking at they all preinstalled! u jist gptta move that dial to the nxt # and that will be a fresh new lancet ready to go nxt time
every drum comes with 6 needdle preloaded.. so u hv to buy the drum
Point of needle to get blood from finger, 2 or 4 number sign for elder age preferable for drop of testing
Fastclix it isssss
How many test we can do with one needle?
It is a single use, you only use the needle one time
If you are doing pre and post check, one lance should suffice.
The manufacturer wants it to be single use and indeed then the needle is top sharp, but I used it six times or more but then it hurts more because the needle is less sharp,
Can you accidentally reuse the same needle from the other user if the user forgot to reset the needle
Thank you 😊
