The Pure Sound of my Honda CX Cafe Racer (Pure Exhaust sound)

After so many requests, here is the video with my Honda CX 650 ride.
I tried to record with the best video image quality(Full HD with 50 Frames/sec), and the purist V-twin engine/exhaust stereo sound.
And that's exactly what you will testify.
But you can only hear it, using a good pair of headphones.
I can assure you that the engine/exhaust sound on this video, is extremely close to the real sound when I ride this Honda CX.
The video was shot in 2018, and the road is located in the North of Portugal,(Roads M562, and N207-1).
I hope you like it.

no wind noise or buffeting ! , Epic soundtrack on that bike , engine crackle is the cherry on top...just gorgeous.

She has almost same bore x stroke ratio As the Suzuki SV 650. So they should have similar sound and character.
@@arthuruslinnder9796yes but a different bank angle. so where the SV sounds like an MT07 (ie a 270 degree crank) this has an 80 degree bank angle so closer to a 790 duke (790/890 duke is a 285 degree ptwin, this bank angle would be equivalent to a 280 degree ptwin)
@@hisridei think the p twins sounds better, less high pitch sounds. Not sure why. I'm new to motorcycles so maybe I'm wrong.

I,ve owned several Hondas, singles, twins and fours, but just listening to this soundtrack I would not guess that this is a Honda, just goes to show what talent, determination and a love of two wheels can produce, love that bike and love this channel, may you continue for many years to come.

I absolutely love your motorcycle. This isn't my first time here. I'm very familiar with your channel. I have voted many times. I even messaged TH-cam when you were shut down for that little while. I explained that we need channels such as yours because they are scarce. I want to thank you my friend for the inspiration for building a custom cafe racer. I been searching high and low for the bike I want to build. Quite frankly, I can't stop thinking about a CX650. All because of Frankenstein. What a gem. Truly a masterpiece. A really enjoyable ride with the sound of the Honda CX. Little can be said about the urban and rural landscapes of Portugal, but that it is a beautiful and well-kept country. This week I have been able to do some trips in my modified Pulsar 200 NS, some short exits of 160 km around my city in the mountainous area, really enjoying the road on a motorcycle that one loves is one of the incomparable pleasures of life. As is usual in your videos, I can only say that I like it and the sound of the motorcycle is life music

This must be the most relaxing video on TH-cam. Beautiful landscapes and orgasmic sound. Heres an idea, how about next you record a 360 video so we can ride along fully immersed? Anyways 10/10 as always. Congrats!
Thank you. I'm glad you liked my friend. I already thought about using a 360 camera, but there are some limitations. The main problem, is the image quality. Unlike a normal GoPro hero, i cannot use a ND filter on the lens. This filter, is extremely important to get a nice and flued video image. But thank you for the sugestion.:) Cheers.

Thanx for this. Your bike is really nice. Sounds great. I've got a CX500C -80, and I just love the character of the CX engine. The low grunt on low revs and the roar and awesome power when you open it up... I can't wait to get out on the road again. Best bikes ever, you can't beat the feeling.

the honda cx looks very good when customized, as is the case, that's why you see many of these and the one of 500cc customized, the guzzi-style engine with the transverse V-cylinders are very original.

OMG the sound is heaven. You also live in a very beautiful country. Thank you for sharing this great footage. I love it also because my first bike had the same engine but only 500cc in a gl500d. This engine was so indestructible. I now drive a ktm 1290r superduke. I chose this bike because it's a 2 cylinder. Just like my first bike.

Lovely, the exhaust note is sublime. Like many others, I'm not a fan of the CX (rode one as a dispatch rider for a while), but you've made something lovely from it. Bravo.

What is the problem witch CX500? Just thinking about buying one as my first classic bike (CX500C 1981 model)
@@xr4kimx766 The *custom*? Eeeurgh.
The motor is pretty much bombproof, an the shaft drive works, but they're pretty agricultural, the side to side shimmy at idle is horrible, they're sluggish, there's the usual shaft drive lash and cornering issues, and they (subjectively) look like shit. Not for nothing were they known as the "plastic maggot". Even the cheapest of couriers would spit on the custom one :)
Still, could be worse. There was also the GL variant , the laughably horrible "Silver Wing".

Where did you put the Zoom? The sound is just awesome. Yes, if I close my eyes, I can "feel" that I am actually riding on your bike. Amazing!
The Zoom is located under the rear fender, betwin the engine, and the rear wheel. On this bike, there is room enough for the microphone, but in other motorcycles, it may be difficult. :) Cheers.
@@RACER_TV Thanks. I tried putting my recorder in the same position before but it picks up even the vibrations of the fender and the microphone gets overwhelmed by the sound levels. I will continue to experiment on the best position for my bike or I just might get a better recorder like your Zoom H1. Thanks again and more power.

I’m willing to bet , this is not the first time you’ve ridden a motorcycle, is it ? Your Honda V twin goes a lot harder than l would have expected from a six fifty of it’s vintage , doesn’t it ?
