This band was fuego! This whole moment happened after finishing a song. Sean went into a tag line about joy so the obvious choice was to play a Latin groove! As you hear in the video he “liked it” so we went with it. This drum break is all about keeping the praise party moving and not diverting from that pocket too much. As a leader he’s leading the crowd in praise and exaltation, it’s not about my “skills” but about the groove I’m providing to keep this flowing. Such a great moment that I’ll always remember!
