    Josh, no need to ever apologize for showing simpler, less expensive units! I keep adjusting my RV plans as the economy changes. A whole lot more people will buy a $30k RV than a $130k RV. We simply want value for our buck, that’s all! This has stainless steel sinks! 👍🏽 Azdel sided too! This is a very decent option!

    I'm glad you review ALL kinds of campers, less expensive, basic to the massive gold standard units. There's a camper out there for everyone and I thank you josh for being the Nerd you are, bringing all the reviews.
    This unit is nice. No frills, but nice, giving you the space you need for a nice little family. I like that extra storage in the back. I can see dad loading that area up with little kid bicycles. 🥰

    I really like the shower stool, washing shins and feet is a lot easier with that in there. The pass thru storage is better than most. Solid design on this one.

    One could do both, cargo netting and baskets 🧺 in the bedroom overhead. Place their tidy whites in the basket, then secure it with the cargo netting

    A fold down extension next to the sink would be a good addition for a little more counter space.

    • @JoshtheRVNerd

      Agreed! I don't think it would be terribly hard to add either

      That was my thought, as well. 👍
      Probably would need to reinforce the interior of that cabinet panel to minimize potential disaster. It's amazing how many people just install weight-bearing accessories and forget about use over time! 🙄
      My father taught me well. Only child and female--learned all kinds of things from both parents! 🙃
      Overall, a nice unit at a more budget friendly price. :-)

      The funny part is things like slides have made it harder for MFGs to put water heaters where you'd consider them a more optimal location

    Very nice entry level family bunkhouse RV with multiple seating options for people that do not mind no ladder, import tires, fold out steps, no TV, a camp queen bed and an entry level bathroom with a cheap plastic toilet, a shower curtain and Dollar Store 4” fart fan👍

    Ok for a cheap camper it pretty nice! The color are different and I like it. Wish it had a bigger sink. Don’t like does not have slide side windows. The bath is go for how big the rv is. The bedroom is a little small. Like it has a oven. Wish it had black out Shad’s. Not a big fan. But love the video josh!!

    • @JoshtheRVNerd
      @JoshtheRVNerd  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Agree on that sink. There's a few things I'd like to see changed but a stick and tin price for a laminated RV has to have some accommodations

    Just need a light in the shower area other than that the shower is fine. I do need hydraulic struts to lift and hold the bed though no compromise

  • @gddyuprap
    @gddyuprap 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Nothing wrong with inexpensive at all. You gotta start somewhere! Not a bad little unit for a 1st timer to see if it catches on with the family. I agree with you that the missing ladder prep is a definite issue. Manufacturers want you to maintain the RV so that you don't have leaks, fight them at warranty if they do have leaks most of the time, then some just flat out give you no easy roof access?? I've heard you mention in the past that Lippert practically gives away the mount to the manufacturer so why not include it? Yeah, big miss and not just on this one. On any camper that doesn't have some type of easy roof access.

    I have to also add it's the same way with the Ozark Le series with Forest river are you really budget friendly or are you cutting corners because honestly no bed struts that's not really fluff lack of windows etc the only Forest river product that genuinely you have shown that is a semi good deal is that Ozark Le model the very first one the bunkhouse the next model up to full Ozark with same floor plan gives you bigger price tag but you lose storage due to windows this model just doesn't cut it

    • @JoshtheRVNerd
      @JoshtheRVNerd  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yeah the "LE" series is definitely the "it's not the one that has ALL OF THE THINGS" kind of series. Just the essentials and leaves room in the budget for owners to apply a few little tweaks to tune it to their preferences

    Hi Josh, my uncle Gary wants to know if the cushions on the drop down dinette can be oriented lengthwise? He says it's easier for him to strap in for the night that way.

    Interesting how a manufacture ahemTracerahem (must be dusty in here) can make a 'budget friendly' unit that just seems to be slapped together and shoved out the door without going through a QA process...cheap doesn't have to be shoddy, imo.
    Yet another manufacture can produce a similar 'budget friendly' unit that radiates quality in fit, finish, smaller handy features, and overall construction ahemGoPlayahem (that darn dust again) for a lower price point. Just sayin. GP wins this round, hands down.

    • @JoshtheRVNerd

    Josh, I'm curious why ceiling heights haven't standardized at 6'9" instead of 6'6"? I understand there would be minimal weight gain but besides the new 100#-200#, I can't see a reason. At 6'8" I realize I'm taller than most but I'm obviously not alone. Higher ceilings = more potential customers instead of losing them to the competition. Any insight you can share?

    • @JoshtheRVNerd
      @JoshtheRVNerd  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      This industry HATES to change. Thats the best answer I have. It’s so often a race to the bottom to save four bucks. It’s frustrating
      That’s why I make a point to acknowledge taller rvs when I see them

    • @carutah
      @carutah 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@JoshtheRVNerd Thanks for the reply. I understand the industry trying to save "four bucks" but only think that it's costing them ten bucks. I type this out with a small hope the industry will read it and as you often say, "implement change based on what your viewers say." I've noticed that most manufacturers produce both 6'6" and 6'9" models so not being standardized costs extra to retool for both models. Perhaps another solution would be to standardize the barrel type ceiling which leaves 6'6" wall but still offers increased ceiling height? Anyway, thank you again for your insight and to the manufacturers, please take note!

    Starccraft Autumn ridge 26bhs is a better deal all around spend 500 to 800 for the trifold sofa and do that yourself and boom you got a way better deal for like 8000k less

    • @JoshtheRVNerd
      @JoshtheRVNerd  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Everything I'm seeing is $3-4,000 difference which is essentially just the cost difference going from a stick and tin build to a laminated build
