for those using trimod beware that the space bar wire or and stabilizer is unbalanced and loose due to the flexing of the pcb inside, this is because ive bought one and upon checking what rattling and different sound the space bar is making is that of unbalanced wire and bend of pcb, the culprit for this in the tri mode version is the wifi IC below to the left side of the keyboard between alt and space its wifi ic is blocking the below brace support thats causing the flexing or bending of the pcb, cutting the brace diagonally release the tension in the pcb.

Stabs sounds good, I did re-tune it and lubed the housing with Krytox 205g0 and then dielectric grease for the metal. No rattling. Enter key THOCC af lol
Ive been looking for an answer for a while now and i see im a year late but im hoping someone could help me. The keyboard turns off after about a minute of no activity and it throws me off when i need to type something, any solution?
@jadelynnr9646 hey, almost all wireless keyboard act that way and there's no solution for that. it's made like that to save battery. I'd say go wired if it really turns you off that much
sorry for the late reply, the 2.45ghz adapter comes along with the keyboard itself, honestly the seller forgot to put it so I messaged the seller and they compensated and sent the dongle so I wasn't able to show it. The foam on the stabs would interfere and will cause ticking sounds.

Hi.. do you have any idea regarding the the led issue of this keyboard? I just got the wired one and now one row of keys follow the led function of the knob. Led was synced with the knob instead of keys. 😢

Still working fine with no issues. They have a legit website and a good aftersales. I had an issue with this before because the dongle was not included so I contacted them and they sent the dongle without any cost. :)
I did my research on this keyboard, and theres some people arguing about the electricity sound when the led turn on, but i dont mind it to much, Abit dilemma to choose between this za 68 or fantech 61 But in the end, i bought this zifriend wired one, what i dont like' is , it's pre ordered with 1 month . One was for ZA68 and below that there was "ZA68 single mode lighting memory upgrade package". I downloaded it and i tried to upgrade but i guess cause its in chinese, i am doing something wrong. @@keebs4less So uhm, i just modded it.. I did a 3 layer tape mod and modded the stabs n switches (lubing) but I couldn't really disconnect the knob for some reason, its like stuck there
i bought the same keyboard and it just arrived today. i cant seem to find the instructions on how to change the side light using the volume knob like what you're doing on the video :( . can't seem to find it anywhere too. can you pin the instructions please?
sorry I didn:t include that, it's on the manual if you flip the manual it has the english version :) hold the knob for 3-5s then it will change settings.

hey! thank you for watching! are Royal Kludge keyboards availble in your country? If yes, you could try RK68, RK61, RK84. But honestly this keyboard is just so good that you don't need much modification.
5pin hotswap yes. I'm currently using JWK Blacks v2 and it fits perfectly, Rakk Kalaw a bit tight, that being said baka tight rin yung ibang Rakk switches. Akko switches (Akko cream blue pro palang na try ko) KINDA tight, but tolerable.

@@jplus8825 Ohhh I had a redragon fizz too but didn't bother changing the switches because outemu socket yikes. I currently have a redragon zed pro now and I'm using KTT Kang whites they fit just fine I guess. I also bought 10pcs of outemu milk pink pro switches and that one, my friend, fits perfectly.

Is it a Redragon K617? If yes, there's just a huge gap between the features. I have Redragon Fizz K617 and it's so damn hollow. You need lots of foam dampeners. This ZA68 is a lot better in terms of build quality, features (knob, wireless, switch), and the stock foams.

i'm not sure if we have the same keyboard. I have the tri mode and my spacebar sounds fine and no rattling
ahh mine is rattling too. the left side of spacebar is so rattling but the right side is not.

@@keebs4less yeah it could be. today i lubed the switch and stabilizer, when i checked the space stabilizer is unbalanced.

well that's funny because I rewatched my own video and turns out it's plastic. the plate and top cover is combined if that makes sense

solder the new battery in, it's two wires, not that hard. Although i agree, not nearly as convenient as just unplugging it.

looks like tom680's knob would fit perfectly, they look almost alike. i'm not so sure since I did not replace it :)

@@hanz4518 force it, but make sure that the pcb wire won't be detached by force. If you can disconnect the pcb wire do it first.

Just hold the knob for 5s then rotate the knob

no, this is an ultra budget keyboard so it's expected to be north faced:)

there's a rubber dampening for the pcb, stabs are pre lubed if I remember correctly
