people move to ghana and still want to live the tourist/vacation lifestyle (eating at restaurants everyday ,clubbing alot , shopping at high-end supermarkets etc) and expect it not to be expensive????? ...of couse is going to be expensive...you have to make the switch from vacation to living ...and it will be more than affordable.
that is why i admaire you soo much Ama... stay blessed

True! To get the true experience in Africa, one must eat, shop, go to market with the locals. Spend your money with them so the economy and grow and be stable. Hotels & supermarkets are geared towards the tourist, and can be pricey.

Most of my friends in Ghana talk of these foods. I'm usually left a bit confused whether I understand what the food looks like. This is great that you show us not only the foods but going out to buy them. I love seeing all of this! Medaase for your great channel!

First of all I am impressed with your beauty!!, really.
On the other hand I wish I can go to West Africa one day. Ghana looks a very interesting Country. I'm from Mexico and as a third world Country you can not compare these food prices in terms of dollars vs my Country. Ghana looks much cheaper than Mexico if you buy food with Street Vendors however this is not something I would recommend to everyone unless you know there is hygiene in that small business or you have previously eaten there without getting sick. Otherwise it is much better and safer for a tourist or local to spend a little more money and go to a legitimate established business/restaurant. Good luck with your products and videos precious.

I've been to Ghana more than once and I stay away from street food. People selling the food don't always have facilities to wash their hands. In some parts of town it's hard to find public restrooms. If you're living in Ghana or any country you should learn to prepare your own food. It will save you a lot of money. I did buy fresh fruits and vegetables from street vendors.

You don't risk much eating warm or deep-fried food like fried donuts, fried fish, grilled meat etc. I would avoid things like salads but it doesn't make much sense to go on a trip and not have street food at all.
